Did you plan to hit the milestone of 1000 posts in 16 days?  1000 posts in 16 days means you have to post 62.5 posts every day. 1440 minutes is usually one day which means you take only 23 minutes to go from one post to another. I have calculated this as an average. That is, within 24 hours, you have posted one post for 23 minutes, then when did you sleep in these 24 hours?
No doubt it was a very challenging thing for you to touch the milestone of 1000 posts in 16 days.
Seems to me you didn’t read the replies above, that would have saved you the trouble of doing all that calculation, it’s already been established that OP meant 16 days logged in forum time.

I just put myself in the place of the OP. If I received so much criticism on this topic, I would be covered with shame and perhaps some kind of rash; maybe I would hasten to close this topic.
But, OP, I see you are thick-skinned and have managed to develop immunity to criticism.
Yeah I commend OP for not letting the criticism affect his celebration, when you have been in the forum long enough it’s natural to grow thick skin.

Definitely  👍
I'm not backing  down and the criticisms in time last has been one of the triggering things that has pushed me so far to do better and maybe my caption was wrong or misleading but I think that was a caption and the body of the message expresses what I meant in context.

This has been one of my most criticized post and I intentionally  left the thread open together people air out their minds and possibly  point out where I was wrong and I'm glad most persons did 🤗

I'm one of the users who barely speak  ill of people's opinion and as such I'm  always also open to criticism  so as to draw positive  energy.
I want to use this medium  to thank everyone who made our time to make contributions on my thread , you guys are loved🥰, hence I'm locking the thread to avoid further spam.

LOL - OP doesn't seem to be thick skinned, but he just ignores any constructive criticism or other constructive suggestions and all which in no way proves himself to be thick skin in my opinion. But who knows, he's an Sr. now - and maybe he knows how to keep her temper under control and let people stay on their own terms without any response from him.

Let's hope that one day everyone who criticized this topic will take back their words; perhaps we will see a future crypto star. Smiley
I'm really curious about that, but yeah - OP might become an expert in the future. I hope so.  Cheesy

1000 posts in 16 days? Where did you get that data from? I’m assuming you meant your logged in time on the forum or something else, I don’t know.
That is obviously the message op is trying to pass but it's too common to have 16 days logged in time on the forum with 1000 posts. There are people that are having 10× of that and they never want to brag about it. I was very surprised when I saw 16 days been spent here with 1000 posts not knowing it's the contrary either.
I agree OP should have used better words to express himself but we get the point. It’s just another self congratulatory thread.

Having merits surpassing activity does not really mean that one is an extremely good poster, it might just to a luck or having large numbers of people finding your posts interesting just like the way "The Sceptical Chymist" does his thing.

I disagree, I don’t believe luck has anything to do with getting merits, how lucky can you be to get 250 merits. Implying that merits can be got based on luck is like saying the merit system is not serving his purpose. IMO anyone who has made it from newbie to senior member cannot be a shitposter. The monthly post review by the Sceptical Chymist isn’t a charity, anyone who gets merits from the review more than once obviously deserves it.

As many users have suggested you should consider changing your misleading title to a more clear tilte such as "Celebrating my 1000th post in just 16 days of total logged-in time." This would reflect the fact that you have only made around 60 posts in the last 16 days as many of us have understood. Posting 1000 posts in 16 days would surely classify you as a spammer xd…
Other than that you really have done an excellent job and i would like to see more people engaging in a positive way and providing good to keep Bitcointalk alive. Without users like you this forum imo would become inactive.

Your statistics are much better than mine LOL. I have logged in for a total of 18 days, 15 hours, and 58 minutes with only 800 posts. I should put in more effort to catch you

Well i find myself really lucky  and most times looking from my previous post judging from my post in the earliest days of posting, I've seen myself growing immensely  even beyond my expectations as each new level seemed impossible but the growth was steady a d the show of love was really unimaginable for a poor writer like myself but I've already written 1000 post in 16days spent on the forum and I feel so blessed at this point and I hope to see myself do more in years to come.

I wouldn't mind some reviews can be made on my post as I don't think its wrong seeking for reviews on my post so far.
Thanks

~OBARI.

Congratulations on your incredible journey! Writing 1000 posts in just 16 days is an outstanding achievement. Keep up the fantastic work, and may you continue to thrive and accomplish even more in the years ahead. Best of luck!

As for post reviews, it’s quite unorthodox to ask for a post review this way as there are merit threads on Meta and B&H but I have seen a few others do the same and got what they wanted.
It is indeed, and I'd even go so far as to call this thread a blatant attempt to earn some merits.  And even if that isn't true, OP is in a signature campaign, and the only valid reason he'd be asking for advice on how to improve his posts is to earn more merits and thus rank up and earn more money by having more sig space.

But hey, I'm cynical.  I'm not going to congratulate OP on making 1000 posts, because I've never congratulated anyone for making a certain number of posts, and unless it's an extremely large number....what's the big deal?  All of these self-congratulatory threads are really starting to get under my skin.
It’s all about the money eh? There is no shame in that, I really don’t mind if members are getting bitcoins for making quality posts but to see generic and shitposters getting paid for spamming the forum. The self congratulatory threads aren’t going anywhere, we managed to get users to post in one thread but it seems we are going back to what we used to have, I reckon we will be seeing more post their achievements.

1000 posts in 16 days? Where did you get that data from? I’m assuming you meant your logged in time on the forum or something else, I don’t know.
That's obviouy the case else, most of those post would have been subjected to reviews in ways that would have dragged out comparison to being spam. Not like it ain't possible for one to archive that milestone in the days mentioned but, it would have been such a push that I don't care to imagine what must haveotivated it.
Obviously, Obari isn't one of those posters that goes about spamming the forum. The user is one of the active onces in the Nigera local board and across the forum as well. Keep up the worn you've been up to and be good about it. Congrats if that's cool with you.
I’m familiar with his forum activities and I also do not think OP is a spammer but at first glance his topic title gives one that impression.

But really, in my stay on this forum, this is the first time I've seen a user celebrate over 1000 posts, whereas there are still more posts to cover.
Would you like to see celebration for making 100 posts?  Grin

He may have not feelings about the criticism this post will generate if he does not come back to check for replies from this post. Some persons do not always care about the replies there posts generate making them immune to any derogatory comments the receive.

LOL, can words of criticism really be taken back? Even if the comments are being deleted by the users who post them, it seems the OP wouldn't let it slip his mind. But no hard feelings, @OP. What more or less can someone expect from the internet if not criticism, abuse, insults, and a series of arguments depending on the platform or community they are in? Only a child will shy away when they are criticized.

But really, in my stay on this forum, this is the first time I've seen a user celebrate over 1000 posts, whereas there are still more posts to cover. I don't see it as though it's really much of an archivment, but I know we humans all act differently in some situations. The OP just got overexcited, I guess.

Honestly, I was looking through the top posters on this forum, and I was seeing users who have made over 25k–30k posts. It was shocking to me, but really, that's what I want to celebrate. Example: LFC_B, who celebrates his 20,000 post, not just that but 10 years into Bitcoin and 9 years on the forum

There is a similar thread that's been created by a user almost a month, and in that thread, he got 5 merits. I guess that the OP is hoping that it would be the same scenario with him. Posting a same thread, and hope that there will be somebody that will give merit to him.

Requesting for a post review thru making an achievement thread? I guess it would be better if OP just posted it on some merit giving threads out there instead of making a thread like this. An achievement maybe for the OP, but for others like me, this is more of a merit-begging thread because of that "post review" thing. Aside from that, can I ask OP if you already tried to PM The Sceptical Chymist already because he's the one who is doing post reviews to those who are deserved.

I'm not going to congratulate OP on making 1000 posts, because I've never congratulated anyone for making a certain number of posts, and unless it's an extremely large number....what's the big deal?  All of these self-congratulatory threads are really starting to get under my skin.
Too harsh as always.
I'm already thinking of making an achievement thread for my 9000th post, and for my 10000th post, but after I saw this, I think I will just keep it myself. JK  Grin

Anyway, 1000 posts is easy to achieve TBH, but it depends on how often you are posting. If you are posting like a hundred posts per week (which has been done by some of the users here), you can achieve that 1000 posts in less than 16 days. Like what I said in the similar thread, I guess it would be better to just lock this thread already. I don't see the significance of this thread aside from the fact that you are indirectly asking for merits thru post review. BitcoinGirl.Club also created a thread for us to put our achievements there so why create a new thread.

Your dedication and commitment has brought you this far in reaching this milestone within this period. If you still believe and have determination in yourself, I still feel you can do more than what you’ve done before. Your posts are great and your contributions to the forum is well appreciated too, keep it up.

That's the accumulated time or total time logged in that he has since registering his account on the forum in the last 8 months.

I was just reading the topic and was still wondering how he got to make 1000 posts in just 16 days not until when I burst into your reply that explained it better; made 1000 posts in 16 days of his total login time in the forum, it now sounds normal and realistic to me than before. To make 1000 posts in 16 days, you’ll have to drop like 63 posts daily to reach that quota which is completely end up being spamming and a normal human will get exhausted doing that.

1000 posts is definitely worth celebrating, especially when you consider it a great achievement.
Obviously not all of the users replying to this thread agree with your idea of creating this celebratory thread for 1000 posts and some of them have asked questions which then remain unanswered after a few days.

If you really feel these 1000 posts deserve to be celebrated with such emotion, then you should get involved in your own celebration discussion. But however, I will support you to continue to grow and consistently become as quality poster, that is much greater than your current achievements. Congratulations to you.

Let me begin by congratulating you on this new achievement to have reached your 1000th post and 16days of activeness while on the forum, i must say tha you have been indeed active on the forum, I've also been seing few threads on reputation that people post to celebrate their achievements especially when they bag a new rank, posts count, merits, reports or years on the forum that makes them feels happy to be celebrated, yours shouldn't be an exceptional mate, also know that the more you grow the more the expectations from you, and how far you go determines how bigger you become if you maintain the good works, wish you more success and achievements.

Congrats on your 1000 posts in 16 days the majority of your posts are good, one of the motivations to reach that number of posts in a short span of time is having the incentive to post.

I'm not saying that being in a campaign is necessary but habit and motivation are two of the big factors, it's always good to know that there is an incentive waiting where you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee or a bottle of beer.

When I read the title I think "spammer". You might have considered a different title to keep as people may not even read the topic if they think you are just a spammer. Congrats on 1000 posts man.
