I would be happy to see bitcoin cross $1000 for now. 10K may not be possible in 2-3 years.

Nothing positive happened for ages though.

What? I guess you're not talking about news, are you? Because this year was full of good news.

It hasn't been reflected in the price though.

Trust me I'm pro bitcoin, I hodl everything in cold storage, I've never spent a single satoshi.

I'm just not seeing anything uber positive lately, the price sucks ass.

Now good news push bitcoin price down. To raise bitcoin price we need bad news.

Not in a Lifetime. No reason to raise to 10k, unlikely the Dollar Crash to 1/10000 from now. Wink

If the Dollar loses 7% a year for 10 years it will lose more than 50% of its value in 10 years : 100*(0.97)^10=0.48. The inflation on some products have been 7% a year or higher for the last 10 years.

There is a lot of liquidity everywhere; if only a tiny portion of it goes in Bitcoin, a few hundreds millions Dollars, maybe a Billion, the market cap will rise to hundreds of billions and the price of Bitcoin will go higher than 10,000$. It's not science fiction to see a price of 10,000$ a coin soon even if it seems incredible now.
am sure the TO was talking about 10k USD worth now, not after 10 year infaltion. Wink

Thats why i was ironic about.

I don't think he understands what inflation means or how it's measured Undecided

yes. price is down the whole year basically.

I hodl, too. Can't bring myself to sell.

Not acquiring more, though. I will if we break 266 on the downside, though (after the dust has settled) should that ever happen (I'm not so sure)

i think that bitcoin has a higher chance to go to 10k than to go to 0

most likely. I will buy bitcoin for $1/21000000th each for as long as the limit is intact.

$10000? is it possible? Certainly. Maybe even as earily as 2016. I wouldn't bet the house on it, though.

Well, if bitcoin goes mainstream, 10k$ will probably be the minimum amount for one bitcoin.

Ten thousand dollar is too much for bitcoin. I don't think that price will reach that value the next year, probably in 2017-2018 Smiley

It isn't too much. I agree that it's a lofty valuation currently, but not if bitcoin achieves its full potential in the future or next few years. Keep spreading awareness and we'll see some decent gains if we just have patience.

Can't speak for others but I meant when it 1st touches $10k. How long do you think there'll be between it first touching $10k & then being more stable around that figure?

Stable at more than 10k$? Maybe a year after it first touch 10k$, who knows!
