Finally... no longer under the restriction of the forum.Hello folks !

This pool may have issues sometimes but Dr Haribo is really watching out and fixing the issues super fast. He replies to all your question and communicates on what s going on with the pool or front end in case of problem. I ve come from slush s pool and will never go back there. Slush doesn t reply when you have question and i ve seen too many payment issues or people complaining. I m 100% with the doc and very confident in this pool.

People asking about shit should maybe start their own pool or go over to a 5% + pool Cheesy. Those have issues too and won't pay you more no matter what people say or try to make you belief.

Hoo boy...what is this shit? Have issues frequently since last night. My miner always switches back to low clock after he couldn´t contact the pool.

Hope the guys from BitMinter fix that issues soon, otherwhise I could start thinking about to change pool.  Undecided

It's still the best pool around IMHO ... mainly because the downtimes aren't very long and NMC support.

But as I said earlier, if we don't get more hashrate here, I think the pool is doomed.

Cloudhashing is due to come online in Bitminter at the start of July, that should give us a few more TH/s at least

I also love the pool, but I don't think variance is so big. Unless you need constant flow of money for paying something is the same after some months of mining. Luck will be near 0.

Dr Haribo,

Are you working with TerraHash to make the bitminter client compatible with their ASIC Boards ?!

All I've been able to find out is that they will create their own protocol and support will be added to cgminer. I've offered to add support in BitMinter client, but they're not very communicative.

Hetzner network seems to be ok again. Packetloss dropped to zero.

We are back in business.

Hetzner first gave me an explanation of how you can sometimes see packetloss when there isn't any. Great support! But they finally seem to have fixed their network.

I'll look at getting multiple servers with multiple hosting providers in the future.

Apologies for the downtime. Sad

Update: Hetzner confirms it was a DDoS against another customer on the same subnet.

Hetzner claims it was a DDoS, but I doubt it.  Hetzner's network is practically a bunch of ethernet cables strung around a giant warehouse.  I bet a cleaning lady knocked out one of the switch uplinks.

I'll just leave my miners waiting for the pool to come back up. I have faith in this pool, and won't leave it without a fight!

This seems to be a flaky pool with a lot of downtime... Can anyone recommend a more reliable alternative?

BTCGUILD has been finding blocks fast and they use PPLNS for dedicated miners as well. For part time miners they have a PPS option but with some hefty fees.

I do what I can to keep it up, but this kind of problem is difficult to guard against. There will be multiple mining servers at different hosting providers in the future though, which should help.

For backup pools, there is a pool list in the pools section of the forum.
