40% packetloss. Looks exactly the same way when Hetzner had a problem with their routers - I'm guessing it's the same thing again.
Hetzner is the hosting provider where the mining server is located.

At this pace my jan 2013 order will come in 4-6 weeks. it is for one 5gh and one 7gh . I had old prices my cost 412usd for 12gh and so far a 4.5 month wait.
but Asic miner wants 440 usd for 2 usb sticks they will hash at .65gh so for close to the same price bfl has 15-17x the hash. now that they shipped hundreds of units i have some hope.

This last difficultly jump REALLY hurts square in the male genitalia. Almost makes me want to get out of the game entirely looking into my crystal ball over the next six-months-to-a-year 
With bearish USD/BTC exchange and skyrocketing difficulty, you're not the only one in this mood...
But I keep singing to myself: After the rain (halving, nov 2012) comes sun (early 2013), After the sun comes rain again (April 10th and still getting wet...). Common, now leeeeet the sun shine
On a less singing note, let's also all remember that we need BTC to actually get used as part of a real economy if we want mining to still make sense (and profits) in the long run. Same goes for coin hoarders...
Still, I'm optimistic for the future of BTC, but we will probably have to go through a desert for at least a couple of months now.

They are not connected.BTC price is driven purely by demand.
yes.. and the "invisible hand" is supposed to balance things out. it's only when market manipulation (read: government) gets involved that things don't balance out.
