there are problems?

4 days are so many!
 Huh

Its just bad luck. 10M share rounds are a (statistical) fact of live. Its gonna happen sooner or later.
Lets hope it gets followed by a few short blocks.

Hehe  Cheesy

Yeah, use cgminer for now for BFL devices. I will see about getting BFL support in my miner soon.

I hope to use two mini-rigs at the supposed ~50GH/s with BitMinter whenever I happen to get them (BFL says end of June).

That will be awesome. Smiley We should be able to attain a quite decent hash rate!

This is probably my favorite mining pool.

Agree

Thanks for your support, guys. It is very much appreciated. Smiley

What can I do to help getting these little guys running on bitminter?

Download cgminer and start the miner. Enter http://mint.bitminter.com:8332 then your worker name as Turbor_Turbor2 and your password. Enjoy watching it mine Grin

You Don't Bitcoin 'till You Mint Coin
AFAIK there is a single post in the cgminer thread and that is it.  Luke code is available in cgminer github.

Cool, looks like a simple serial port design. Do the other bitcoin FPGA solutions work in a similar fashion, anyone know?

Would be a little hard to add support for this without an actual device to test on. But it looks simple enough that I could give it a try if someone has a device to test my beta versions on. Anyone get a BFL single yet?

Btw, you can abort work, but then it won't report good nonces found during that round?

I've got one. Just got it yesterday and don't have enough know how to get it running.
You wait 12 weeks to finally get it to have to wait a few more days. Kind of annoying, but that's simply because i don't know how.

Sweet. Smiley I don't have a 7970 to test it myself, but I've gotten a few reports that it runs very fast on them.

Just a note for any other 7970 users:
I tried out the tweak feature and I seem to be getting the best results with worker size at 256 and manual vectors off, the other settings I've left as is.

*edit* using bitminter client v1.1.2

9-16 days for a block. The good old days. Err, wait...

Kudos DrHaribo, very nice gui for your miner!

Thanks, glad you like it Smiley

recent snow storm/power failure gave me an excuse to try something new, and your miner took my cards from about 460 to roughly 580 mhps, in just a couple clicks of the mouse.

Live stats page is nice and all, but you need to exclude the namecoin from the "Latest Blocks" section, it's depressing when it's all NC and no BTC  Angry

Yeah, I will probably do the same thing as I did with the block list, only show BTC as default.

I just hope we never see a block like one I recall from sometime around October.  I think it was BitMinter's 18th block or somewhere in that range.  It took over 9 days and the CDF was 99.7% or 99.8%, if I recall correctly.  We only had ~30 GH/s at the time, though.

I doubt anybody cares, but I just have to correct myself now that I can see that far back in history.  It was BitMinter's 30th block on October 5th.  With a CDF of 97.5%, it took 9d 18h 19m.  I guess that's how it goes when the pool's hashing power is only ~31 GH/s.

more importantly, very nice numbers for the new 7970 cards. I never did figure out how to get diablo going, and just couldn't seem to get the flags right in guiminer, so my cards have been running at only 80% for the last few weeks (months?) -- I self-rationalized that it was acceptable, kind of like a "burn-in" process, lol

I'm so happy right now Smiley best, snow-day, ever!

Website was just updated. Here are the new changes:

  • Added BitMinter pages at google+ and facebook. Linked at the top of each BitMinter page. Please click like, follow, +1 and all the other nice buttons.
  • Pagination for blocks, shifts, transactions and block payouts. Now you can browse historic events since the beginning of the pool. Cheesy
  • Filter block list by coin type. Default is to show only bitcoins. Many users felt namecoins were just in the way.
  • Nicer looking error and info messages.
  • Added "bitminter.com" on avatar images.
  • Added one-time donations to make it possible to donate from your existing balance. Now there are one-time manual donations from your balance and repeated automatic donations from your income.
  • Big livestats: rearrangeable page. Drag and drop to move things around.
  • Livestats: set new gauge max value if old max is reached. No more stuck at 300 Ghps.
  • Livestats: don't extrapolate rejected proofs of work. Stales come in groups at each block change - it didn't really make much sense to extrapolate between updates.

Don't forget to join BitMinter groups on your favorite social sites:
