My bad doc......so now we start hitting a good streak, and my cube goes down due to it trying to start a fire by melting a fuse and trying to get some wires melting through insulation...grrrr....talk about bad timing on my part lol...

Three lucky days in a row. I hope you got some of that. Smiley

no I meant my computer that controls all my mining....

Yeah, that was just some general info. These devices are starting to appear (but sold by other companies than bitmine.ch?) and the software looks a bit broken.

If you have a Coincraft device, be careful what you set its difficulty to (in its own web interface). It will ignore the difficulty sent from the server and not send in work below the diff you set. You will only get credited for a fraction of your work. Whoever programmed this: this was NOT a good idea.

I don't actually have one of these myself. Anyone know anything more, let's hear it. Smiley

Of course when our luck changed, I had my controller go down in the middle of the night and didn't see that I wasn't hashing til I got up this morning, then I had to scramble to fix it....FML....oh well.....

Well we got through that long block, only to start another...LOL...man our luck really needs to change, I really don't want to leave this pool for another, because pretty much everywhere else I could go my hashrate doesn't mean crap and the payouts would suuuuuuucccckkkk......that and I am pretty happy here, cause the Doc is responsive.
I know there is nothing we can do about our luck, and one day it will turn to really good again.....

UGG I want our luck to turn around...we get a couple good spurts, then we get hung with yet another longer block....I can't imagine what the luck will be once difficulty increases again...

Hodl!
Guiminer has an interface for a stratum proxy also, just bang the pool details in teh boxes and point cgminer to ipaddy:port on your local network or 127.0.0.1 on local machine.

There are over 100 ASICMiner blades and cubes communicating directly with the Bitminter pool using the getwork protocol. This is not recommended as they will run at reduced speed. To get the most out of your blades/cubes you need to connect through a stratum proxy.

There are instructions on how to set up blades/cubes with a proxy here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3046129

Ask if you have problems setting this up. Get your blades and cubes running at full speed.

What I noticed since I moved to Bitminter is that Luck in the last weeks has been HORRIBLE... I mean 2 98% of CDF blocks in like... 3 days? Are you kidding me? I know it's just luck and all... but damn! too much bad luck!

Better to get it over with, bad luck needs punchin on.
It cannot rain every day...

Luckily it doesn't rain everyday Grin

I got impatient cause there was no carrot at Bitminter.

The carrot is the same with all pools. It's just a little further ahead of you with small pools.

Tried out Bitminter for a week or so, but it took to long to solve blocks.  The rewards were nice (double Slush's), but I grew impatient when it took over 12 hours to solve a block.  I found Slush's pool better for daily gratification. There is always at least one block going through the 120 confirmation cycle, which amounts to the proverbial carrot at the end of the stick.  I got impatient cause there was no carrot at Bitminter.
