Has anyone had success with
h81 pro + pcie 1->3 expander + 1080 ti?

I tried it only once, didnt work right away and didnt troubleshoot it further.
Want to expand rig now and would need those extra ports.
I have tried a lot, but expander doesn't work with gtx 10xx at all.

thx for reply dude

I dont have H81 pro MOBO, but i use PCIE expander with Asus Z270-P and it works (6 PCIE slot + expander + m2 to PCIE  = 9 GTX1070/GTX1080ti / rig)
Here is my specs:

- OS : linux (ubuntu 16.04)
- PCIE : Gen 1
- 4G encoding : Enable
- Driver : 384.98

Not a mention about BTG mining and i`m sure some of you with 1080 ti`s are already mining it. So, what are the profits?

Can some kind soul point me towards the sp miners for bitcore and cryptonight, groestl would be cool too. I cant afford those crazy prices, plus the miner has a fee built in anyway.

if you have more then like one farm with 6 cards, which give you, say 24 Mhx x 6  = 144 of power totally, then let's see what SP's miner can do ( I can confirm that miner pushes around 32-33 mh, let's take 32.5)
ok 32.5 / 24 = 35% difference
144 * 1.35 = 194 MH
194 / 24 ( the old miner)= 8.08 - so buying or downloading and using SP mod gives you 2 more 1080TI to your hashrate.
so that is a huuuge boost actually!

According to benchmarks on Yiimp, a 1080 Ti can get 28 Mh/s on ccminer 2.2.1 - http://yiimp.eu/bench?algo=bitcore&chip=387  -- I haven't test mined Btx in awhile, so I may have to give it a go once/if the BTG initial profits go down.
yes but Ilook closely at the power consumption - 244w! maybe at tdp 110 or so .

Yes, for one of them, but there are also 27.5-27.8 Mh/s results at 183-200 watts, which is in the 75-80% power limit range. Anyways, the best benchmarks are ones you run yourself, so I did a quick test with ccminer 2.2.1 and I get 26 Mh/s at 80% power and 28 Mh/s at 100% power limit. The power % does bounce up and down allot, so without getting out a killawat meter it's hard to get a consistent reading.
still let it be 27mh, and comparing to 32.5 it would be 20% more
which is still a very good boost.  let's recalculate our example

6 x 1080ti @ 27Mh each will give us 162 Mh totaly
6 x 1080ti @ 32.5Mh with SP miner will boost to 195 Mh
195 -162 = 33 mh bonus - one free Gtx1080ti ))

what`s the best afterburner oc for zcash guys ?

For me it’s +100 core
75% tdp
Gives me around 720 sols for 200w

I'm mining equihash with +100core, -300mem, PL 190W ~700sol (gigabyte aorus / Aorus extreme / EVGA SC black)
what about power limit ?

The 1080TI is a powerful digger. I used it to dig the altcoin for a while and I felt very satisfied. The 1080TI is very profitable for me. Keeping up with new low altcoin types will help the excavator work better.

Hello,

I was trying to mine some cryponight on my 1080ti with ccminer but when I launch it it immedatly closes..do I have to enter a -l config ?  I also d/l and installed cuda 9 to see if that helped but no dice.

Ya i got issues also trying to use ccminer 2.2.1 on cryptonight with a 1080 ti,  says "memory allocation error' and shuts down.

Any idea what I need to do?
could be to much mem overclock.

Try putting "pause" (without the "") in a new line in your .bat file.  If there are any errors it will keep the window open and let you check what the error was.
