Guys, do you expect to see earnings to increase afterwards? Or said in another words, what do you think is causing the low profitability?

I mean, besides the fact that BTC price decreased almost 20-25% also the amount of btc/altcoins per hour has decreased.

hi guys, do you think is wise to mine signatum till POS and keep the coins hoping its price get pumped?

i have a rig with two gtx 1060, two gtx 1070 and a gtx 1080ti and i dont know where to point it.

bump

The answer is going to depend on whether you want to speculate or not.  Personally I mine whatever coin is most profitable at that time.  If I were mining coins based on the premise that they were going to be pumped, then I would just buy the coins without the hassle of mining.  That said, given your specs, sigt would be a good option if you are unsure of what to mine.

Thank you guys!!
Powershell was exactly what i missed.

One more question, what do you use for '-interval 90 -Delay 1' values ?

I haven't used it for awhile, but when I did, that delay value wasn't in there, so i'm not sure what that does.  But for benchmarking I left it at 90.  When it came time to mine I changed it to 300.  I don't know what best practice is but I had read somewhere else that 300 was a good number.  It seems like with checking and changing algos every 90 seconds you might lose a significant amount of hashrate in transitions..

Couple more questions
1) what do you use for '-interval 90 -Delay 1' values ?

2) I'm seeing this page for more than 10 minutes, it "stuck" on EWBF and not moving forward

Can someone share this "Sniffdog", i didn't find any threads related to it. How to setup and use it?

https://github.com/Sniffdog/Sniffdogminer/releases

The guy who created it posts on here but he didn't want to create a thread dedicated to it (like claymore, ccminer, etc) because spending time managing the thread would defeat the purpose of the program, which is to save time.

ive seen a few people testing this miner, but haven't tried it myself, gonna check it out tonight i think, see how the profits are.
I been lazy as hell with my Ti's since they Roi'd, so they have just still been sitting on solo skunk, doing 20% above whattomine still, on average, not bad.
Bored tho, gonna check out sniffdog, ill report my results for yall Smiley

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how many GPU's I will be able to add to my motherboard. It is an Crosshair V Formula

Crosshair V Formula

Expansion Slots
PCI Express 2.0 x16
3 (dual x16 or x16, x8, x8)
1 (x4 mode)
PCI Express x1
1 x PCI Express x1
PCI Slots
1 x PCI Slot

I tried connecting to a few of the slots and some would boot up and get into windows and then go black and the others booted up all the way through to the desktop. I though originally that each slot could have a gpu with the risers. Please help me understand which slots can be used for gpu's. Thanks.

Correct, the -u really means -wallet.  Even if you have a bunch of stuff incorrect, the powershell window should at least open and stay open.  It sounds like something going on with windows.  Which version do you have?

Win 7 x64
It's very stable running Claymore, CCminer or EWBF, all card settings are good and never had any problems
It's simple - you don't have Powershell 5.0

Yes, you need to install this update:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50395

It can be a little confusing but sometimes there is a readme.md and a readme.txt, unfortunately the info about updating the powershell is included in the txt but not in the .md which displays in github

why you dont read the readme from the github ??

I don't think it's up to date.
First of all it's saying "Place your Bitcoin address after -u in StartSniff.bat", but there is no "-u" there, there is only "-wallet"(which i think is the same)
And i followed exactly step by step the readme file. But after launching it crashes right away.
Also it has opened double-quotes but never closed them: ..."&.\SniffDog.ps1... - i don't know if thats the case.
Thats why i'm asking if someone could share version of the file which is working for them.

It is little problem with multiminer clones - miners used in them are not the best.  Wink

Can you also share your startsniffin.bat ?
For some reason after i entered my address, username and worker it's starting and shutting down the same second.
And which "interval" do you use?

ANYONE ELSE HERE FREAKING OUT ABOUT ONLY PROFITING 1.00 USD PER 1080TI CAR, ROI WILL BE PURCHASE PRICE. #DEAD

Lmao- 1070 is making $1.30 a day and 1080ti is making $2 haha well based on Whattomine

As of last night my two 1080 Ti's were earning $9 per day (combined) and my 1070 was on about $2.50. Using multipool miners. I think I'm fine

How do you do that? I can't get more than $2 per GTX 1080 Ti lately.

Using SniffDog with all supported algos and pools enabled; MiningPoolHub, HashRefinery, Zpool and Ahashpool. Although I'm not sure if ahashpool is actually alive or not - I can't even find any other references to it. Admittedly I think actual return is slightly lower than it reports, but it's certainly not far off. I reset all my benchmarks only a couple of days ago.

Quick question, I'm building a 1080 TI rig that I want to use my old motherboard and processor to start. It is the ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX and I'm using AMD Phenom II X6 1100T. Will this be fine as far as the setup. It looks to me to have enough Pci-e lanes for the 5 1080 ti's but I didn't know if motherboard matters as far the setup. Thanks.
Go with 4 tis so you don't have to run it with two psus or one huge one, 1200w should about just cut it.
