I actually never saw a single 1080Ti running without crashing with mem above +500. Most of them have problem with +400...
OTOH , the only 2 GTX-1080 (Not Ti) I have can run with +700 without crashing.
When everyone will understand that there is no +XXX on one GPU equal to +XXX on another?
Especially if you set P0 state.

another useless comment, well done !

FYI, everyone knows that, that was the point of my post, I told him I never got his chance.

Never, people are throwing some offsets of mem core and +% of power limit not knowing that these numbers alone meaning absolutely nothing. On one card +100 could be 1950 on other 1800mhz even the very same model. Also most of the high end cards(no matter the chip series) go different default TDP. For example, lowest 1070 got, 151W TDP, Jetstream got 170W, Zotac Amp Extreme got 250W, so 60% of each is totally different number!

Conclusion: People are jsut stupid and dont realize that little knowledge could increase their efficiency and profit!

About the Hash refinery pool and yiimp clones, best you can do is to mine algos with short block, like skein, nist5 and neoscrypt. WhyTF they mine lyra2v2 hitting 10 blocks per day, or skunk hitting five blocks per day or X17 hitting 30 blocks per day when neoscrypt for example is hitting 20-30 per hour! Use this: http://pool.hashrefinery.com/site/multialgo. If you want to play lottery there better places.

Bet almost nobody disable P2 states on their Nvidia cards...

Havent done Zcash in a while but back then I was doing 770-780 and "IF" i'm lucky 790-800 but very rare this high.

+60 Core
+800 Mem

I also have the power at 115% because free electricity lol.
Fans at 95% because thats what they are designed to be at.

temps were around 60-68C

Several EVGA 1080ti FTW3

Mining Skein at Hashrefinery and Ahashpool seems the best thing right now for these cards.

with equihash: -My  OC Strix supports +130 Core, +1020 Memony -
-My OC Aourus extreme  extreme water: +80 core, and really little OC in memory

Mined NIST5 on hashrefinery for 12 hours which netted 0.000285 BTC per 1080 Ti so I'm switching back to ZEC.

What I did was start with +500, I added +50 slowly till I hit 800.. sometimes it would crash 750 sometimes 800 sometimes it's fine - But works fine on an EVGA FTW3 - last time I needed mem clock was with equihash - I purely mine skein right now because it's the most profitable (as per my benchmarks) and that needs more core less mem. Gives about 1080mh/s per card on +100 core -502mem

Bit sad though how bad things going for GPU Mining especially on this beast of a card

there's no such thing as "free" electricity here, just because YOU aren't paying for it, i assure you SOMEONE IS Cheesy
95% fan your gonna burn one out pretty quick i give them 2 months, where did you see "thats what they are designed to be at" ? lol i would laugh to see ANY manufacturer recommend a 95% fan hahah damn, i never go over 80%, and my cards run 50°

A bit of research online on the fans; but yeah problem I'm having is I've crammed up 8 of them per rig which is limited in width - so I'll have to spread them out a bit further - Also depends on algo/miner you use, with Equihash temps were stable in the 60s for overclocking memory. But Skein requires more core and least available amount to underclock on mem. Just a guess but seems overcloking core generates more heat vs memory - I can't do anything but guess on that part..

I have a few 280x with fans @ 100% since day 1 (2015) and they still run like new ones, seriously.

do you use default algo switch time?
It seems that 90 sec is too low-half of the day it mines at "miner start and accelerates" rate.

I've been testing out sniffdog for the last few days and wondering the same thing.

On one hand, my brain says you should want the interval to be low so if / when a coin's difficulty and value line up to be the most profitable coin to mine at that current time ( for those minutes or seconds ) you want your miner to switch and mine that shit.

Then on the other hand, if the coins keep switching positions every 90 seconds, you are literally losing 10-20s of ramp up time for every 90s just from switching algos.

I dunno.... I've left it at 90s for now and am gonna let it run for another few days to take my daily earnings average over at least 5 days, and then i'll switch the interval to something longer and compare.

WhatToMine figures on the 1080 ti are often way off - you have to plug YOUR OWN FIGURES in to get reasonable results.

Example - they claim the 1080 ti on Zcash's algo is 635 sol/s.
I see about 780 out of my Gigabyte Aorus with EWBF 3.4b

I have a few of them and all I can get is 740 Sol/s

Can you share your settings ?

Sniffdog zpool+hash,all algos,no OC(otherwise it crash the farms apparently),switch time 5 mins -2.85/card.
Not happy at all.

just stick to hashrefinery and mine coins algos profitable for 1080 TI such as x17, Lyra2re2, Skein, Nist5.

Why hasrrefinery?,  miningpoohub has higher  hash rate and more miners with  equal fee.  I understand that zpool's 2% or nicehash 3% could be worse options because of the fee, but on paper I don't understand the advices on hashrefinery.

I was mining at poolhub for 3 days while yiimp pools were down, profit was ridiculously low. Somewhere around 1.4$ per 1080TI card on skein algo. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but that have never happened to mi on hashrefinery. Even this week when BTC hit bottom low, I'm earning 2$ per card. Seen a lot of praise for Miningpoolhub, didn't work for me, hashrefinery is way better. Again, I haven't done meticulous tests.

ya i dont understand these profit switches, its like they have no idea how PPLNS works :/
Especially if you use a yimmp based pool (hashrefinery), you just start building some share, then it switches and you lose your share % in the time b4 a block is hit :/
I am not gonna use sniffdog, except for maybe benchmarks ;p its dece for that haha.  plus, OC, dosent really apply to profit switchers :/ mem hard, core hard, same OC? OK DEN! ;p noob miners making progs haha, they can code but have no idea how mining works ;p

Those mining SIGT, do you actually make the amount whattomine estimates? I'm running 4 1080 ti cards and only made ~100 coins in 12 hours when I'm estimated at 150. Mining at a steady 190mh/s and using suprnova pool

The most accurate for me is https://blockstats.pw/signatum/

I have 4 1080Ti and after looking at the hashrefinery pools I doubt I could make more money than mining the top coins for our card on whattomine even if its not accurate. eg: there are currently no worker on the lyra2re2 pool ...
