anyone mining suprnova here know how the transactions work with it. I have been mining it all morning with 2 1080 ti's and have seen only .62 cents earned. My cpu has seen 0.1 cents. I'm new to the whole pplns thing where payment depends on the amount of blocks found. Are these type of pools good in the long run or should I be looking at other pools that calculate a set cost per hashing a day. Thanks.

I stopped using suprnova a month ago because of the low earnings.

Check the blocks

If the pool doesn't control much of the hash on that coin, then you're gonna get slow blocks and your earnings will be very up and down. If you hit a few blocks in an hour you make more than you did for the 8 hours before when you only hit 2.

IME the best coins are ones with very fast blocks so people don't bother to mess around with cloud mining hogging up the shares. (although people do pull other shenanigans).

As to whether or not pplns or whatever is good. Seems to be at least on short block time algos. Again seems to be abusable if you can just hop from the major pools every 10 minutes with cloud mining. But that's just what i've picked up in threads and am not qualified to back that up with any real technical knowledge.

From what I hear they do control quite a bit of the hash for zec. I remember hearing about fluctuations like that and people doing that type of stuff on the forums as well. I think I will give it a day and see how it does for it but I don't really know if I like the up's and downs of it. I like steady and I was using flypool before and it seemed like it paid out after a day. I just liked its ui and that I could mine monero and zec on it utilizing it. I just got to find someone where else good to mine monero now. Seems like CPU mining has long payouts because you need 0.03 or 0.1 to get paid out most pools.

Many pools are now attacked by some fucking new hacking method...what the fuck is wrong with this world  Sad

Hacking has been a reality in crypto since it's inception.  If there's a way to profit from hacking people will do so, and being able to predictably manipulate a coin's market you can definitely make money.  It sucks for those trying to play fair but is a fact of this world.

I sad anything rude? No, you did.
So if you are dumb enough to loose profit - it is your way. Continue writing meaninless core +122 and other settings.

Overclocking memory clock on equihash can very easily freeze your system as far my experience goes. Using high memory clocks is very iffy and works only with a few very good chips.

I'm sorry, I thought you were the guy complaining about -300 memory. He was stupid, not you.

So is anybody willing to share their Ahterburner settings for mining Equicash?

My settings are:

TDP:
75%

Core: +122

Memory:
-300

Fan speed: 75

Temp: 61-69°C

Average sol/s: 720
Not good idea to lower memory OC. ewbf gains with it.
And all that core +122 doesn't make any sence at all. Only final CC/MC is important.

If you don't know what you talking about it's better to just keep quiet then being a smartass.

Don't you think I've already tried all possible settings in afterburner?

Yes I gain maybe 10 sol/s if I raise the memory to +300 but at what cost?

How fucking hard can it be to keep a wallet in sync, I'm a fucking ass and I manage to keep tons of wallets in sync yet I don't even run an exchange, you're bunch of monkeys that fell in the poll of fees.

I'm not sure what really happened to the cryptopia wallet, but your statement makes  zero sense.  Think about how many wallets an exchange, even a small one like cryptopia, would need to manage and the complexity involved in all managing the input/output of all the transactions.

Your statement makes zero sense to me as well. It would appear that you're implying it takes skilled effort to keep wallets in sync, I beg the differ, it's fucking easy and can be automated with code written by monkeys like me. I do it all the time on my +30 POS wallets and I haven't broken a sweat.
