The most profitable mining for 1080 ti now is Skunk Nicehash paying minimum $5/day

5 a day per card?

5 USD = 4,25425106 EUR...

I'm doing 6+ eur at hashrefinery. Skein and Nist 5.

Edited: Oh yeah, 6 EUR = 7.05177 USD

Anyone care to do the math? lol this is what 1x1080ti is earning = basically $2.10 a day if I convert them right now.

I may be doing something horribly wrong lol

Mining ZEC using 0.3.4b ZecMiner

speed average is 700 sol

How are you calculating the BTC/day on auto switching algos?

The script modification ro show the eur/day was done by Fromage, the owner. Thats what you meant, right?
Where to download the script? I compiled ccminer/alexis-1.0 for Linux and trying hashrefinery.com, although the pool hashrate seems a bit low.

If anyone wants to install custom BIOS on their 1080ti

Is there any advantage to flash a different bios?

grab some extra power, but i dont recommend, its not a big win and you avoid the warranty of your GPU

If you cannot flash original bios back, for sure.

Sharing some tips with you. I am currently mining Coimatic 2.0, Solaris and Signatum. No need to hide my "game"  Tongue There really aren't that much people mining, atleast with 1080 ti's as you would think. Hopefully we can support each other and share some good info.

And yes, forget the whattomine.

i was already mining COIMATIC , but the project seem pretty dead, no post from the dev since JULY. What do you think ?

Yes maybe it is a dead coin, maybe not. Dev seems to be really busy and don't have time to post. Who knows...

My thoughts about mining in general is that you can go with the safe options or then you take risks there and here. If you want really a safe option, then mine only Zcash. But if you want to keep eye for some bigger cash then you have to be willing to mine early coins. Some of them will rise up in price, some of them not.

How would you mine with a small minning farm?

I build a mining farm with 10 Rigs. 1 Rig has 8x 1080TI.
But i'm still not sure what's the best way to mine.

Do you have any software, GUI or Miningsoftware you can recomend for this project?

Thanks

LOL sounds like maybe you should build 1 rig with a couple of cards if you are clueless about the software.  I love these bombastic posts from people claiming they $70,000 farms but need direction on the best coin to mine.

Not everything is about the best coin. When you have one rig, its easy to switch between the coins and pools. But when you have more rigs, you need something stable.
I think it takes a lot of time to scan the market every day and set all you rigs to new pools or coins.

I always laugh when people act like they need to hide what they are mining like it is a giant secret.  Meanwhile they are using open source miners that are free and coming here for free information.  It blows my mind how some people act like information doesn't flow both ways.  We all were beginners at mining at some point.

Yes ,you right, just check the post 2 page behind. Some people think they are james bond 007 ( he posted right after you 😂 )

Well Im in that boat currently.. Just got a 10x 1080ti coming in with ethOS running.. Plan was to mine Zcash only but I keep reading here more and more profitable miners and coins.. I'd appreciate any help; I want to test out one right and play around the settings till I get the ropes.. And most say whattomine is useless and thats what I based it off of.. Hope I didnt waste $10k for nothing Sad

Any advice guys? It would be very appreciated.

@evil monkey

The ONLY PSU i have personally found that will allow enough power and cables for x6 1080ti (250 watt versions), is the 1600 watt Rosewill Hercules
watch for them at a good price, PSU prices over 1300 watts have gone nuts Sad
Other than that, keep in mind you can get a server PSU kit for way cheaper, i get mine from parallel miner, wish i would have went server model off the bat Sad way cheaper, and rated for continuous loads much better than ATX's

6 cards would require 18 PSU cables.  It really doesn't look like there is 18 cables there.  Those might be 1070's or something.

ok well im only running it right NOW and OWN the PSU, but hey what do i know? Cheesy
haha and people wonder why 1/2 the time us vets dont even bother giving you guys info...
OK well have fun on your dual PSUs like nubs do then Cheesy
