anyone know if the 1080 ti's will ever be in stock in mass quantities again? or are we waiting for the next gen at this point?
I dont know where are you from but in my country most of the stock is filled/being filled for few weeks already but still at higher prices.Atm some sellers are starting to lower the prices because it seems no one is buying thx low minning profit and the fact that on almost all coins diff is at ath

With current prices they will definitely have some hardware to seat on instead of chairs. Grin Grin
Daily profits currently doesn't look to good, don't know who would buy cards at these prices knowing that new generation cards are around the corner.

Shops around me are also full on stocks.

Best Algo/hashrate:Nist5 92hasharte on 100% power ( 96.3 on 120%)

The nist5 sp-mod Does 92 MHASH @ 80% power

Sorry, we use free software. Move on.

which ccminer version you use? I downloaded alexis ccminer from various sources, but they do 90m+ but do not find valid solutions..

From nemo's directory - https://github.com/nemosminer/ccminerAlexis78/releases/download/3%2F3%2F2018/ccminer-Alexis78.zip

thanks a lot!

Are any of you using simplemining OS? Can only find ccminer tpruvot that supports nist5, which gives me 20-40 mh/s Sad

I am using Hiveos from hiveos.farm it does support Alexis and mulitples other ccminer fork.

Thanks, will check it out! Smiley

Funny how people are stuck in time and still Mining Eth....
Everyone with some extra bucks and no clue what so ever about crypto and mining, heard about Etherium and got the pricey (shitty AMD 4 years old cards), their friends made them a rig, which is forgotten in some basement doing some change profits on that dumb ethereum with the thought "I will get a lambo, everyone is doing it".

Fuck no! No brains no lambo, but.... Fuck it..... The world is a crowded place.....
So dude forget about those DAG BS and mine another Algo, keep your 1060 3gigs and enjoy the ride.

Also I found a post "My electricity bill is 90e and I am making only 180e, not mining anymore.
Well if 90e per month for doing basically nothing is not enough, you should sell your hardware and make a place for other people (regarding gear and hashrate).
Profit is profit, as long as it pays the electricity bill + extra, may it be cents.

I think 1080 ti not better choice for GPU
Not better - I agree.
Simply THE BEST!
ROI is rather poor, 1060(3) is the best. Just maximum cost and hashrate. It`s the best choice if you have hundreds of cards and have no place for them.
If you ignore ETH, 1060/3 are about as good as 1070Ti, 1080 and 1080Ti on price/hash. Price per slot is also a factor - you can build a 6x1080Ti rig instead of 18x1060 and still get similar earnings.
The only upside of 1060 is the ETH hashrate, assuming that you get the good memory. The 3GB effective barrier is within months for 1060/3 (check with claymore's --benchmark), so after that you'll be forced to mine other coins.

Gone are the days when prices used to be low. No need to remember as it is now business and no company will loose profit once they have sensed they will always try to keep it.

The possible problem with lower memory capacity will be when DAG files become bigger and they cant handle that. Meaning, if you really wanna keep a card functioning for you keep good margin for future memory use.

Totally agree with you. The best choice for today (and yesterday), and for tomorrow it is 1063 cards. Because the price-quality they have higher than 1080ti. The only thing in which they win 1080ti is that in saving space and few algo better working with. And all on it.
So, best is 1063!!!  Wink

What is a good way to evaluate how much coins you can mine using a specific graphics card? Any help? All tips appreciated!

coins a day = A * B * C / 4294967296 / D * 1 000 000

This very simple to use with almost all coins!

Sorry guy, but you said nothing. How you count algo/hashrate? How it depends on pool? What ccminer do you use? Also, as I remember, you can decrease memory to minimum at this algo.
