What is a good way to evaluate how much coins you can mine using a specific graphics card? Any help? All tips appreciated!

coins a day = A * B * C / 4294967296 / D * 1 000 000

where:

A = 86400 ( The number of seconds in a day. This is a constant. )

B = reward in coins from the found block ( We take this value from any pool where the coin is mining, or from the first post, if the developer pointed it there  Wink )

C = your mining speed in Mh ( in the end of this formula " * 1 000 000" return our "Mh" in "h" )

D = diff network ( The difficulty of the network. It is better to take a day diff. This value can be taken from different sources. But the easiest way is again with the same pools where the coin is mining - of course it will be approximately, but this is what we need )

4294967296 - This is a constant - it's a  2^32=4294967296 ( You may check it with calculator   Grin  )

For example (for now):

My speed in algo "C11": 444 Mh
Reward for block:          15 coins
Diff:                             6500 ( Spread around - 3800 - 18000, but more to 6-7 k )
coins a day = 86400 * 15 * 444 / 4294967296 / 6500 * 1 000 000 =  0.13398 / 6500 * 1 000 000 = 20.6

Yesterday diff was about 4000, and I mined 33.5 coins (according formula), and 32.2 coins (according to pool). Bingo!

This very simple to use with almost all coins!

The GTX 1080 Ti is so fast, so capable, so ridiculously extreme in its performance that it makes us laugh with delight.
The GTX 1080 Ti is a technological achievement of pretty epic proportions…[it] has set the bar so high that it will be very, very hard to dethrone.
It is undoubtedly a fantastic piece of engineering—cool, quiet, and without rival. Those that demand the absolutely very best in cutting-edge graphics need look no further.
The performance NVIDIA has squeezed out of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is nothing short of a miracle…NVIDIA has really nailed the enthusiast graphics card market, and improved it beyond words with the release of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
You're in a thread for owners of 1080ti, so why are you marketing it like you're on an AMD forum?  Grin

Guys what`s the best miner for Equihash right now zm_0.5.5 or dstm ?

for me, Bminer is best.

Weren't people saying that the miner inflates hashrate and has sketchy connections?

DSTM seems to be fastest that actually matches what pools say your hashrate is iirc. Haven't tested myself... or tried any of the dev fee disablers or whatever.

Lol even I'm a hero member of this forum I'm still a newbie for mining not in other bitcoin-related. I just looking for a way to increase the profitability of my cards. If I stay to zcash or ethereum mining the daily earnings are nearly the same as gtx 1060 or gtx 1070.
I bought 1080 ti for almost $1k plus that's why I need to optimize the mining profitability.
There are huge quantity of shitcoins, giving more profit, but they are unstable. For example - BTX, FLM, ULT, CRV. But it trading at less known exchanges and may go away any moment.

Equihash algo giving low profitability these days, What coin are you mining guys with gtx 1080ti...

According to whattomine zcash still higher daily earnings than ethereum in default settings.

Would you guys suggest if I should stay mining zcash or switch to etherum.?

1080 ti for me it looks like the daily earnings are too low compared to the last December that actually gives me a large amount of profit, unlike today.

But I still fine with the electricity consumption.

There are coins giving 3 ~4 dollars daily, but you have to find, these coins are not on whattomine or another coin comparisson
If we talk here everyone will jump and profit's gone

December was unrealistically high profit wise - now we're back around where we were in ~September time frame last year.  We had a major bull run in the late spring and early summer of 2017, followed by a low spot at the end of summer, and then another crazy bull run at the end of 2017.  Right now I expect to see those with credit card debts (for hardware) to be panicking and cashing out, but if you're hardware is paid for there's no reason to panic imo.

Bunch of people are selling rigs, they have made calculations when mining was at the Peak.
Now with changes in profit gains they have made decision to sell of hardware and even make some profit on it.

I got ROI pretty fast.. I stopped mining. Hoping times will change.

well, I got ROId may cards as well, that is why I do not see any reason why should I stop the mining process?!
I have like about 150 usd the bill for electricity last month, and even with current low prices and profits I can earn about 50$ per day, that mean that after 3 days of mining I'm covering my expenses for electricity..  So all above that is pure profit, why should leave that?!

My rig brings in only 6 euro a day (180 a month) and my elec bill is around 90.. Not worth it for me.

Your logic sounds a little skewed to me if your rig still makes money in the end @ current prices  Huh

Well, then consider yourself very lucky having that low electricity. Where I live electricity is $0.25kw and with todays crypto prices I can barely make a profit. If profit goes lower I have no choice then to stop mining. But I'm just a hobby miner with one rig so no big deal though and all hardware is already ROI. Let's see hopefully market will recover soon and profit will be back up as it was.
