why the stratum difficulty goes up and down. not stable anymore in x17 algo. what is the best diddiculty setting for every algo?
Because the nature how pool is calculating your hashrate, it is not very accurate and you can see it changing about 20-25%, while your rig pushes stable hashrate.
That is why the stratum diff is changing. But in a long run it really does not matter. Imho, do not bother with it

Lux is very bad at the moment

 USD 4 each 1080ti

I think I'll try another algo

Guys, I mined a little at Zpool with a small rig, but it's hard to measure the profits, is it a honest pool or they  charge a lot because the conversion to BTC?

In my test,ahash is better

I recommended argo some time ago and price is really taking off. Even now it seems to be one of the most profitable coins to mine, liquidity is also good in case you wanna sell fast.

Is there any way to tell nicehash to mine a specific coin or no?  Roll Eyes Just reading some comments here it seems like some of you can point it to certain coins?

Of course.  Point your rig to nicehash using the following format:

stratum+tcp://[algorithm].[region].nicehash.com:[port]

You'll have to fill in the blanks for the algorithm, region, and port.

For instance, if you wanted to mine X13 to the USA servers you would use:

stratum+tcp://x13.usa.nicehash.com:3337

40 on PHI ? whitch miner you using ? is there somethink for linux like that ?
Iam getting 33 Sad

for mining phi algo, i use ccminer-phi alexis getting an average of 35mh/s on 3x 1080ti. Memory is irrelevant so core+20, mem-502, pl 120%, fan 80%.

I mean they're really cheap. I've never found something under 750€ per card.

It is kinda cheap compared to other GTX 1080 Ti's, only 640e, while 1070 Ti is 600e
That's a steal!
Agreed but what to do.... Have to mine Smiley

What do you think about mining with:

ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GDDR5X 352bit PCIe (TURBO-GTX1080TI-11G)

Is that solo cooler enough for overclocking? What does TURBO prefix means? Anyone?

The core temp doesn't even touch 60c.  Case has good airflow and this is a liquid cooled AIO GPU.

Not real concerned about it substantially affecting the longevity of the card.

And yes - spmod1 for the miner client.

Trying so hard to get this evga sc2 hybrid to be stable w/phi algo at 40 MH/s just going to have to settle for 39.5.   Embarrassed

+120 tdp
+100 core
-400 memory

^^ much past that it crashes after a few hours or sooner

No matter what TDP or voltage I set with afterburner ccminer eventually crashes.  Temps aren't even hitting 60c.  Just doesn't want to quite make it.  Booooooooo  Tongue

Personally I would newer use 120TDP on anything that I intend to use 24/7 during few years of exploitation. Huh
Save energy, don't burn out your fans or GPU for that matter and protect your investment after all.
Not sure if driving something on 120% you can sort under "investment protection" just to save few weeks of ROI time.

That's just my opinion,  maybe I am looking that from different angle.
For example If you have cheap or free electricity and someone to replace your card numerous time during the warranty period...I don't have either of that.
