Yes but history is not necessarily a good predictor for the future. If something went well in the past, what tells you that it also goes well in the future? This is not how markets work. Maybe in some instances yes, but it doesn't make sense to say if Dogecoin goes at the same pace as in the last three months it will reach $1 in 6 months from now.

Trading is already dangerous enough, if you try to short the market or use leverage then you are basically guaranteeing you are never going to see your money back since the asymmetry of the market is there to play against you, technically speaking there is no limit to how high the price of any coin will go if you open a long position while at most while you short the market you can only earn 100% of your capital, do you see the problem?

Then add the volatility of altcoins to the mix and you have a combination so dangerous it will be almost impossible to not lose your money, which is precisely what happened to you.

There are always posibility thier are a lot of coins that is look like a useless coin on the start, but in a long run the price will rise 80% or 100%, we need to put basis on bitcoin at the early stage year 2010 to year 2011 the price is very low, if I know that bitcoin will rise up to 54k$ on this year 2021 maybe I will buy so many bitcoin on year 2010 and sell it today but it's not that simple. Imagine how big is the patience that we need to become a millionaire on crypto, in short if we can't hold we can't be millionaire on crypto and patience is always a virtue.

1$ is not quite target in this hype. this seems to touch the milestone this month.

Like I said before a few months back. Doge can hit some crazy number like 50 cents or $1 a Doge however its highly unlikely it will remain at that price for a very long time and this has happened a few days ago when we couldn't break 50 cent area.

Even if we hit $1 a Doge, the market cap is so large that there is no way this would of been sustainable. No amount of Elon tweets or Tik Tokers would be able to hold up the price in the long term. Basically similar to how BTC couldn't sustain $20K for a long time and shortly after it had a massive correction and this is pretty much what is happening to Doge right now.

Maybe $0.4 was already the highest for Dogecoin. While the market is experiencing a very correction that would probably painful for some, dogecoin is now around $0.27.

That's a big slash to its ATH but still, a high price compared to the price you've given OP @ $0.08. And for the speculation of how hige Dogecoin would be, it should $1.
