For turning trade profit its probably a great time to sell.
However for all cryptos 2018 will be huge. Wouldn't surprise me bitcoin reaching 50k in 2018.
perhaps, monitoring the current price is really a good thing. it could be bitcoin prices rose to more than $ 11k in the near future. but, if you want to sell it, I think it's also a good decision, because it can minimize the risk.

I really hope that we do not see 50k in 2018.
Look at the alts, what BTC did to them. If this trend continues many projects may die or we will see a truly ludicrous alt season when BTC stops.

For the moment I hope that alts return in 2018 and not BTC going on.
But one never knows, it's crypto after all...

I'm not going to sell in the nearest 5 or so years or when I will be in a big need of money. I keep putting money in crypto on monthly basis. Same amount every month, doesn't matter if BTC is at 1000 or 10000$ I'll buy it and store it. As for now speaking I'm over 200% of value put. Not sure if it will keep going up and won't crash. But I invest only as much as I can handle to lose and don't worry about it at all. It's just there in any case.

Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!
John McAfee , the McAfee antivirus company owner and who has a huge fortune in bitcoin has declared today on his official twitter account that he predicted a year ago that bitcoin will hit the 500k bar per coin by the end of 2020 by using a model that was putting 5k as the 2017's goal , but now as bitcoin has achieved the 10k bar by 2017 ( and made something near 900% of growth in just 10 months ) .
The guy knows what he's saying and is now predicting that bitcoin will be at a value of 1 million dollars per coin by the end of 2020 and he even said that he'll eat his genitals of he's wrong XD .

So with such declarations from people that are highly into this field and already made fortunes out of it , i'm certainly holding whatever funds i have and will try to invest as much as possible in bitcoin especially , and Ethereum also because it's just an amazing coin that i have a strong feeling it'll be on the path of bitcoin very soon .

Price correction or not , HOLD YOUR FUNDS !

After reaching $ 11,000 all the people began to sell coins. We saw the fall of 2000 dollars for 1 hour. This is a very big leap and it could provoke panic. But I am sure that by tomorrow the price will return to $ 11,000. Maybe the price will be above $ 12,000. Now when bitcoin price is so high we see such swings constantly.

It depends how many bitcoins you have. If you have few or dozen this coin you can sell a few from all and wait a long time when price will be bigger for your coins

I know selling now can make a good amount of profit but the price might get even higher. I think bitcoin can even reach $14000 - $24000 because many companies started to invest in it like the CME group. There is a saying that patience ia virtue so better wait and see what happens.

Hi,

The question is simple in fact: if you sell now, are you making a profit?

If so, then you can sell. Of course, your profit is potentially higher if you wait but it can also be absorbed in a sudden drop in prices. So sell when you are making a profit and buy when you think the price is low enough for you to make further profits.

Avoid waitng too long and you will avoid most huge losts.  Roll Eyes

You have the answer for your question. You need of money now and you ok with today price ,then sell it.Don't make other to decide your life.
Your life ,your wish ,your mistake/your bright move fully based on a single move.So to me it's ok to sell the bitcoin.I had brought it when the price was 8000$.If I sell means,I will get nearly 1500$ as a profit because i had brought 0.5 Btc.

Everyone has it own aspect to sell.In Bitcoin ,you have a freedom to sell and buy.You can sell when ever you want.Three days before I had sell y bitcoin for 8700$.Now it's 11,000$ ,so it is loss for me.For my decision I had loss,so avoid of panic selling is my suggestion.

I keep monitoring prices closely these days, if it starts dropping I will sell, but only to enter again at a lower level. I have no exit point set so far as price is moving up more and more.

Hmmmm. No because if you sold your bitcoins right now at this price, it could be result on regrets and you might say why i sold it.

If i have bitcoin i will sell it when the rate hit the $15 k, and the possibilty is that bitcoin hit $15k in the next 3 month. bitcoin is rising very fast in the value in market. the reason behind the rising is the limitation of the bitcoins in the market while the demand of the market is rising day by day.

Hmmmm. No because if you sold your bitcoins right now at this price, it could be result on regrets and you might say why i sold it? Since it's very uncertain at this point when the crash happening or it will just continue to rise so, selling isn't good right now plus the bitcoin is very expensive to just buy it. I will continue to hold on to my bitcoins until it reaches to 20k

I think it can be the right time to sell. 11000$ is very high price so selling your bitcoin's at this price will always be profitable .It is just a matter of choice. If your are satisfied by the  amount of profits that you will get after selling it at this price then you should sell .If you want to earn more profits then keep holding your bitcoin's and wait for the price to rise more.

I will not sell it this time, I will just hold it and only sell it when I am in need of money. The long time you hold the more profit you will get, be wise on you decisions.

yes it depends on your trust in investing if with $ 11k is enough to sell it may be that best for you,
but of course i advise to keep holding it as long as possible because we know bitcoin continue to experience good improvement and always provide an opportunity for its users to be able to benefit from its investment.

The amount 11000 USD  is very Less target it might be achieved in a month or to. We are fixed our target as 20000 USD I think just in a few months this target also achieved. Until and unless I need money badly I will not sell bitcoin as it is appreciating so I am expecting good returns from it.
