they suspended the launched VM and you have to argue with them. Looks like mining is against their TOS.
regardless of your personal experience and opinion, I know peoples who are mining for a long time on google cloud, have been selling them coupon to them on regular basis. However, my personal experience is same as yours, there may be some luck factor, or trick to work around but I am not familiar with any!

I got a very good Price but i recently discovered, that you cannot mine with google cloud Platform, so i have now a lot of $$ in there that i cannot use
