$1200 is a good fund for a newbie. The market is recovering and i think that this is the good moment to catch the bottom. ETH, BTC and PKT are my advice for you. These are potential to rise up soon.

With $ 1200 you could invest in some low value altcoin at around $ 1 in this market. You can note the altcoin cores like XVG, DGB, RDD, XRP. Yes btc is one of the best to buy that previously price drops but it still good to buy. Also other altcoins that has the potential like ethereum, its future is good. But also search what coins will really worth to invest for the amount of 1200$.Now the price of bitcoin is 11300$,it's a good value to inverse your money in bitcoin. Since we know the price of bitcoin will return back it's own value of 16,000$.We will get more profit for sure, if we inverse our money now.Now we will get bitcoin for very cheap price, so make your move before the price of bitcoin rise back.

I agree with you FuzeX looks like a good ICO for this month, they are having a presale right now I think. Too bad the bounty program is not very profitable like other projects, but I am going to put a few thousands in this ICO

I think you should use all of that money to invest in ETH. Because I'm a newcomer to this trading market, I do not have much experience with other small altcoins. But ETH is a valuable electronic currency that you should invest in. The price is affordable, suitable for you. At the present time, its price is very reasonable, $ 1000 for a coin is too good price. Besides, I'm seeing the recovery of the co-altcoins. If you delay, the price of ETH will increase again and your profit is not much. yes and he can start to buy right now before the price increase higher because I think every altcoin it's on the way to increase and many of the altcoin is on green candle now. so if you want to make a profit, make sure you can choose what coin that you want and make sure that you still have money left in your wallet just in case if the altcoin price is down again so you can buy at low price.

Everybody said bitconnect is a scam.....it went from 250 to $5 and back to 50 in one day. Come the f... on . I'm pretty sure these things have never happened in the history of mankind lol
So you may go from rich to homeless in 24 hour or vice versa . sure mostly it takes much longer, but it can happen within hours/ days.
I have gained and lost 30% in 5 mins hahaha.

First decide in what kind of technology you want to invest, there are some good infographics like this one https://news.blackmooncrypto.com/the-crypto-ecosystem-v2-aea76bde5457 that depicts the crypto ecosystem. In my own experience the most potential and growth is for new blockchain platforms and cryptocurrencies with new paradigma (like Monero or ZCash with it's privacy). For blockchain platform there will be a new ArcBlock ICO 3-d of february, check my signature for details and read their whitepaper for sure.
Actually it depends on what kind of investment you want. If you want a long-term investment, then you can pick Bitcoin and Ethereum just because they're pretty good. If you want a short-term investment, you might have to analyze and do research on the latest Altcoin that appears in the market. Because usually the latest Altcoin that just appeared in the market, will experience a drastic increase in price in some time. You should choose Altcoin which is cheap, divide your money, because maybe not all can give profit. Do not put all your money for investment in one bag.

If you have 1200 dollars to invest, then I should advice you to go to the second popular altcoins which is ethereum or eth. Ethereum shows very good improvement in the past years and months. From very small value to over 1k dollars is a very good scenario to look for. We are only in the first quarter of 2018 and its a good opportunity to invest with because of the potential increase for the following months and quarter.
You got good choices. Buy 250$ ETH, 250$ ELIX, 250$ PRL, 250$ ETC.

ETH is an admiral ship, just like Bitcoin. You can buy ETC. Elixir and Oyster are rising stars.
I don't know the purpose of Blue and Amp. If I were you I would add NEO to my list. For example $300 ETH, $300 NEO and $600 for other coins.
