Each cryptocurrency is risky. I personally feel that Bitcoin has long-term value, and the short-term value of Litecoin and Ethereum is considerable. Believe in your own opinion, I believe you will make the right choice.

Check infrastructure coins, suppoman just did a nice review on them. IMO those are the less risky investments now.

VEN: 5000 USD
GRS: 3000 USD
BRD: 2500 USD
PHR: 1500 USD

It may seem interesting but in this scenario, the most of the profit will come (most probably) from PHR.

For the same amount you can buy some good coins. Something from Ethereum, bitcoin, ripple or neo. Maybe you'll buy each of these coins. I would have done so. I think that all of them will grow in 2018, but I do not know how much.

I prefer investing on coins which is still has a cheap price like XRP, XLM, ADA, XVG, and TRON.
Hold it for 1 - 2 years. Don't worry all coins that i mention is a good coins. So dont think it will be scam.

Just investing even in long term 12 grands bucks is not good idea in nowadays circumstances IMO. I suggest you divide all yoour money for 3-4 parts and only one part of it invest and HODL 2-3 other parts I'd use in arbitrage? ICO and buying/selling on news you can get at coinmarketcaL.com.

When you have plan to make invest in cryptocurrencies for long term, you have to know and understanding about fundamental of the coins. And buy and hold minimum 2 different coins, Litecoin in my opinion one of the coin that have good and strong fundamental, others coins is for sure BTC, DASH, XLM and ETH. All these coins enable to going up multiple times. But by look in to history of many price action of crypto , actually swing trading is more promising profit than hold.

its use amount and in crypto market have bit risk hence first you should know about the crypto market and first observe the COINS price graph and learn about projects, understand project road map, project updates then you try to pic coins and invest that coins carefully. better to chose top 20 coins to reducing the risk

With $12000, I will have a lot of ways to invest. One is that you can buy Bitcoin or ETH. The second way is to divide the property into half ICO investment. The other half buy Altcoin and hold them for several years

$12,000.00 is a very good amount of money to embark on this cryptocurrency market and if well managed it can give you a good return in your investment. But actually for one to get such returns your choice of investments matters so,much, based on that I suggest that is good to invest on the top cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Cardano, Tron ,and the likes.

There are several projects that are worth holding for the long term. However, there’s really no safe coin. Even established coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum can fail. Look at Centra. It was a major cryptocurrency that was listed on Binance, but later it turned out to be a scam. I do recommend coins that pay passive income if you are holding for the long term. I recommend NEO as well as Ven. They have solid platforms and also actual partnerships. Also, passive income will allow you to earn more or at least reduce your loss.

LiteCoin is a very good idea but I think it will not be as profitable as Hshare and KuCoin Shares. You should analyze about these two coins. I think these two coins are very potential and are of interest to everyone
