Ahhh.... I saw the video now and make sense now about the power/wiring/synching issues.

Glad you got this going Vosk - congrats!

Those Deltas are very good - all my 12/13/19 GPU rigs are using them with PICO kits.
yeah xD

haha thanks my friend Cheesy

Yeah I'm really impressed with the 2400w, a ton of power for such a small footprint

on your 12 13 19 gpu rigs, what cards do they consist of and do you use the pico kit from PM?

The big rigs are all ETH rigs (RX470s) but now I have stopped ETH mining.

All of them are selling hash at NH/Cryptonite since 2 months ago.

They will switch to BTG mining together with my NVIDIA farm.

BTG official network is expected to start on Nov 12 2017, 7 PM UTC.

Testing those riserless boards with NVIDIA and Deltas soon - see Phil's thread.

PICO kits I get some from PM, Aliexpress seller and Captminer.
How is BTG mining? I am looking into it today and going to move a couple rigs over, is it all the rage?! xD

EPIC fail this BTG mining - I would stay away until pools stabilizes - currently very slow confirmation times - I suspect not enough hash to process transactions smoothly.

How loud do you find the server PSU? Any louder than an ATX one?
it's potentially louder / depending on how hard you run it / its temp but around 50-80% usage its not very different

if its hot and running max load it is certainly louder than an ATX PSU, my evga are near silent

Thanks!

I would be all over that PSU if it was higher efficiency, seems PERFECT for this build lol

The PSU you use is a server psu, its powered up at all times, meaning your risers will have constant power. If two supplies power two different things, things can become out of sync.
If two different things are powered from one supply, things can NOT become out of sync.

I am no electrician therefthor I wish someone with higher knowledge can confirm this to make you more certain that it is indeed wrongly setup.
I also use the 2400w psu from parallelminer to power my cards on two miners one breakout board for one miner and the other for second I haven't had any issues my rigs been running for months with no down time or crashes when I was running psu's for my 290's I constantly burnt out plugs I'm also going to try out a pico on one and if all is good I'll run all my rigs off server psu's they are meant to run 24/7 the only issue for some people might be that the 2400w run off 220v so if you don't like or no how to play with power that can be a issue other than that I love these
when you say plugs you mean pcie plugs?
also I was talking with Joseph @ Parallel Miner the other day and he said that the 2400w supply is running low & that is why the price has gone up because their cost to get them has gone up. So we might need to stock up O_o

Thats pretty awesome. I realized to build a professional business it boils down to only the three essential factors:

* hardware price (Mh/s per $)
* hardware efficiency (Mh/s per kw/h)
* electricity price ($ per kw/h)
yeah pretty much Cheesy

I have it on order and will be testing it  very soon.  I will run it with  about 1150  watts running 8x 1070's

haha I'm not living the dream, apparently THE craig grant of bitconnect is . . . . Huh

On a serious note I'm just chasing the dream / crypto life . . hoping to go full time into crypto in 2018 so we shall see. Really appreciate that and thank you, means a lot!

Interesting and very detail video. But it would like to see the work of the rig. Temperatures, hashrate. You don't use external fans for additional cooling GPUs. Why?
Thanks!

Here's a read out of it right this second

Temp: GPU0: 53C GPU1: 56C GPU2: 48C GPU3: 45C GPU4: 46C GPU5: 58C GPU6: 40C GPU7
: 47C GPU8: 54C GPU9: 57C GPU10: 49C GPU11: 46C
GPU0: 666 Sol/s GPU1: 655 Sol/s GPU2: 649 Sol/s GPU3: 693 Sol/s GPU4: 691 Sol/s
GPU5: 703 Sol/s GPU6: 703 Sol/s GPU7: 705 Sol/s GPU8: 687 Sol/s GPU9: 696 Sol/s
GPU10: 689 Sol/s GPU11: 695 Sol/s
Total speed: 8232 Sol/s

This was 200 watts 100 core 0 mem

The structure it's setup in uses ambient air so now that its cold it will be no issue, next summer I may place a fan in front of it and I may put a 120mm fan in front of the server PSU since I'm pulling 100% out of it - constantly trying to improve my rigs and setup but seems like a never ending project . . lol

Interesting that you'll need only 6xVega56 (950watt) to have the same earnings as your monster 12x1080ti zec rig ))

Show your calc's. There is no way.

OP, it is recommended to power the risers with the SAME psu used to power said gpu.

I was told with my setup it'd be best to power everything aside from the cards with my ATX and then plug the server PSU in to power the cards about 3 seconds after turning on the mobo so that all risers will be on and can sync the cards?

@rednoW What calc leads you to believe that?
