If I will be in that situation I will make half will be converted into cash and start business with it while the other half will remain. I will manage to improve the business I want to have. It will my great blessings that I've received of ever in my entire life.
Holding is better option but it depend on market scenario.i might convert into token to increase my bitcoin quantity.but it is likely no middle financial man can gift this much amount unless you are very close to him,it is only for rich people.

Interesting to talk about. surely I will immediately sell it 50:50. 0.5 I sell and 0.5 more I use for investment in altcoin.I do that because altcoin trading is very profitable for me and I also need money for my personal needs.

If i were you i will invest my bitcoin to a trusted one for it to double or triple and if it is successful i will sell the half and ivnest the ither again to avoid loss

I'll keep it for a better price. Since it was a gift, I'll will try to use it in better way and keeping it is the better way I think. It is the best acknowledgment I can give to the giver.In keeping or holding it, you are giving it the chance even grow bigger, and that is on your own favor, you are being benefited by that since the income or profit will be going to you not anyone else. Risks are still there but there's no hard in trying, just balance everything.

Wow! somebody gives me a gift worth 1btc, I may en-cash 20% for my primary needs and debts, the other 20% for materials and gadgets to obtain bitcoin by following ads and campaign, 60% for trading, This a very good start for my journey. And i believe in my skills, and i trust bitcoin as a good investment.
I would love to be gifted a full bitcoin from someone but at the same time I don't really want it to happen. Certainly if bitcoin becomes really big. Then I would be pretty rich and the person who gifted it to me might have some regret. Therefore I would probably feel like I owe them and I don't want that.

If i have this gift from the sky, i will save it as a souvenir gift and wait till it double or tripples the price to selling. Or i would keep it and give it to my children (when i'm pretty sure 1 bitcoin equal a big property at that moments).Selling and turn it into fiats if you're really desperate of money. Cause this gift is really valuable and you should keep it better than selling.

I think this topic relates only the users of bitcoin, because if there is a person who even does not anything about bitcoin how can someone gift him a bitcoin. He may not accept this digital gift. Therefore I think that for ordinary people bitcoin is a useless and idol thing. And those who have invested in bitcoin and are making money from it, they will warmly keep the gift because of the high price in the market. person forever and whenever i can pay them back i would.

if I get 1 BTC from someone I will be very happy and I will hold it and I invest into bitcoin in hopes of making a profit

That will be the best day ever of my life and of course I will diversify it wisely as it's a big amount. 70% of it will definitely hold for a sure profit and the remaining will share it to my love ones, will have a break in forum and gonna treat them on a vacation.
It's great to receive one whole bitcoin as a gift but if I will be the one deciding to give it as a gift I think that it is too much as a gift. I would give materials I guess that are useful and needed instead of btc. It's hard to earn nowadays and it worths big money today.
If someone gives me a gift of 1 bitcoin, i will keep it on to my future as my savings. Big thanks to him and feel happy and i appreciate it, and feels lucky that someone gives a bitcoin, and i don't worry about the future and for my family so that in case of emergency i will have to use. But if i get it, first i don't know who was send it to my wallet and it can be from hot wallet, no use to send it back. the i will convert it into a cash around 30% then donate it. and i will keep a rest for my investment.
