Same here too. Depending upon the situation when I get it I will analysis and check if the price is high then will sell it and can later purchase at lower price or will hold for some time of price can still rise ahead . Also will convert some portion to another altcoin and will save it for future.

If the Bitcoin someone has given me is not to use for anything then I will gamble with and withdraw after making a certain profit if I was successful in it.
I might even trade it for local currency also not sure depending on the situation.

when this thread started I think the value of btc can still be considered as a gift for someone who you really adored but now I think if you
will going to give this as a gift that person might be one of your close relatives or closes friend ever.

I agree with you because you are actually giving the person $5k and that is not a little price we are talking about. They can buy whatever they want i think it would be great as a wedding present or when your son/daughter becomes 18 or even for your best friends but no one else can deserve that much.

I would really be thankful if I receive one bitcoin as a gift. The first thing I'm going to do is divide it. I will put some of it in my wallet and hold on to it because I believe that the price of bitcoin will continue to grow. Another one is I'm going to invest it in different projects and try doing trading to make even more.

First thing i can do is, research about bitcoin. if the price will spike up then i'll invest 70% of it. 30% of it wil go to my pocket and save it for my allowance. i'll keep this cash so if i need to buy something then i'll pay right away.

I will not keep nor hold that btc cause i cant guarantee that the price of it will still the same after years ,it may go up or down the sad part is it will go to no value at all. Better to use that money to invest on short term programs, i preffered investing on icos cause its a short term investment.

If I would be given a chance to obtain 1 BTC, I would likely to convert some of it to cash, say for example the 0.25 BTC is the one I will going to convert and the other 0.75 is the I am keeping, hoping its value will rise in the future and also in that way I can have investment which I can be use for my future needs and wants.

it's good luck, if really anyone gave me 1 btc, it looks like I'm going to change some of my bitcoin and try to trade in an exchanger with some bitcoin I have, hoping I can grow my bitcoin.

If someone giving bitcoin to me. It's a big big gift to me and i deposit it to my bank account to convert it to cash. Since here in my country banks are accepting bitcoin and bank convert it to cash.

Well that's such an amazing idea i must say, none of here ever things of doing such business but instead only saving for future investment, doing business also can make up your carrier in the future and also, an investment.
If you can start business with only 1 Bitcoin, and when you success, 1 Bitcoin will be nothing and you earn more with the business you run.
