If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
if someone/my bestfriend gives me 1btc (it will so kind of him/her if done it), then i will keep it for future purposes instead of selling it right away because bitcoin is good at putting long term because of pricd increase and also, i will use it only for emergencies sjch as natural disasters.

To be honest i am not agree with your opinion. In today's price 1 btc worth more than 5500$ and it already reached to high level. Long term holding is good idea but it doesnt worth to keep 1 btc because you only get max ~x3-x4 in 2 years.

For me, if given 1 Bitcoin would be very happy. And I will do the division of the amount into various needs because for me, the circumstances of life today and later must be fulfilled his needs. For example to meet the needs of life today I will change it in the form of cash, other than that of course there are invested for future needs.
I think investing other than profitable for myself, it will be able to make bitcoin remain stable to use.
how about you?

I don't think i will currently because the prices seems to be rising gradually and until it reaches a saturation point i'm not selling it, assuming that's the only bitcoin i have in stock. All inmdications shows it will rise further maybe right after the fork.

The gifts topic is usually and interesting one since people have different approaches to gifts and how they define them or from what perspective they see them . For instance , some think that the gift must be expansive no matter what it's utility or uses .Others think that it should be a useful one and that the receiver must fulfill a purpose with it , and the price should be reasonable . As for bitcoin to be a gift for someone , that may be the best gift of his life since it will introduce him to a new field otherwise unknown to him , it will open so many doors and give him so many possibilities that could make his life better . It will incite him to know all the details about this invention , and get involved with it's uses and will probably get him some extra money if he acts right .

because I don’t need much money right now, so I will save some and convert the rest into fiat money then invest it in other forms, like gold for example. It’s good to be an investment because of its excellent growth so I think there is nothing to worry about and besides I have invested the rest into another form too.
If you don't need money you need to invest into bitcoin because by investing into bitcoin will give you boost to your money because we know that bitcoin is increasing on daily base so its better time for us to invest.

If I will receive 1 BTC from someone, then I will invest it to different types of sites that could legally earn bitcoin so I can make it grow more and more bitcoin. Because you will receive bitcoin from someone and will not find a way to make it grow, then the amount of bitcoin you have will be stagnant. So, it is better to join have some investments and some will be kept for selling purposes in the future.

Well it depends.  If you need that money right now, then convert it to cash.  If not, keep it,  you see that Btc keeps growing and it will definitely worth 100k one day!

I would probably add it to the current number of bitcoins I have and continue to try to get as much money out of it as possible, while keeping them and waiting to price up.

Fisrt, I admit that investing is the wisest decision to take at all as it will provide you another bitcoin or even more. But personally I will turn them into cash and spend them because my financial conditions are not favorable and I need every dollar. But the problem is that the dollars are finished and all spended I will regret a lot my decision and wish that I thing to invest them.

Bitcoin price is too high now so I don't think anyone would gift me that huge amount as if I have to gift someone then I will surely not give away my hard earned coins so its better not to dream of it as no one will give you money for free and if you want it then you need to make efforts to earn it so its good to be practical and concentrate on different ways of getting bitcoins on our own.

I'd certainly keep about 3/4 of it and wait for about a year or two before cashing out or re-investing, well that depends if bitcoin will be that successful which i think most likely it will.

What a nice person who give me his precious treasure, in return I would definitely treat him to eat with that Bitcoin and I HODL the rest as my investment asset or I can also exchange it with fiat money then buy gold.

this case is almost impossible to happen when someone gives his investment assets to others, but if that happens then I will save it to make short-term investment assets and turn them into other forms of investment, after that I will repay the favor by giving some from what I earn during investing.

I think I'm the luckiest person in the world if I received that huge amount of bitcoin from someone. Anyway, 1 btc was very big if I will convert it to our currency here in our country, it almost reach 300k pesos. With that amount, even I want to cash out it all but I still can't because people around me will be intrigue and might think that I robbed it or get it from illegal things (they still don't have any knowledge about bitcoins) so I will used it in fractions. I store 50% of it into my wallet for future use then I will cash out 25% and use it to buy whatever I want, and I will use the remaining 25% in investing or buy a hardware used in bitcoin mining.

I would put that into altcoins right away.
That is actually a wonderful gift but most people would not appreciate it and would rather buy materials or something physical
Like a car or purse or shoes.

Altcoin is really worth to risk with because you never know when it is going to be sky rocketting. Since this is free money from someone may be you should try to put it on altcoin, new altcoin will be better because this price is going to be fluctuative and you can easily get the profit as well

Given the value and rate at which Bitcoin is rising, i doubt very much if there is anyone out there who will give 1BTC as gift.  The funny thing as well is that, while its feasible for someone to give a gift in fiat money worth 5K, it seems not so easy to do with BTC mainly because of the instability.  Essentially, its cheaper to give 5K in fiat than it is in BTC.  5K fiat will still remain 5K by next month, 1BTC today however, could be worth more or less than 5K in the same time period.

If by any chance at all (zero chance of course) someone did give me 1BTC or even 0.5, i would most definitely spend it on altcoins like DeepOnion, ETH or some others.  Personally, i feel for those of us who missed the start of BTC, there are opportunities still with altcoins like DeepCoin.   Only time will well of course.

It would be priceless in a few years, so better option is to hodl
It will be a nice surprise for most of the people to have 1 bitcoin for free but the reality is nobody is going to have this experience, nor that I heard of. Bitcoin is very expensive and it is still going upwards so a person can give some fractions of it in a gift but not a whole. At least , i won't honestly. Still, as we are earning bitcoin so there is no need to dream about receiving such an impossible gift.
