At least that makes a little sense. There should be a letter in the password.

110111100

This makes not so much sense. steveturk clearly said that I can add 000000000 to 999999999 to my list.

maybe one of these sha256 parts

Since it begun with start of modern encoding it would be logical to finish with latest in coding technology.

For me confusing part is "bin" since in this case it has multiple meaning requiring completely different approach. Beside obvious binaries it could mean "dont dismiss solution(delete it) instead trow it in bin (where it can be restored from) or more likely refers to bin in "bitcoin".
Anyhow its a great brainteaser Smiley

Dude with bin he referes to binary as binary code, thats already has been solved

dec 101 in base4 would be 1211. Is 000001211 the answer?
hex 101 in base2 would be 100000001. That's a wrong answer.
dec 100000001 in base8 would be 575360401. is 575360401 the answer?

"ask 4 the key": what is the key, please? Smiley

That is the key

I got to this point too Neurotic. Not sure where to go from here lol

The 4 letters on the coins need to be substituted for numbers?   Or the 9 numbers have to be substituted for letters?
And you said calculate the answer then bin it.  How can you calculate something that has variables and still it doesn't affect the final answer?

the sum of 5 + 3 = 3 + 5

it would all hinge on the input, that is why you have to ask 4 the key

ok then, here is my question:

Where is the key? Is the key located at the 3 virtual coins or it can be found in your answers?

hope you can answer this  Wink

Well it definitely has something to do with the number 4 since he is saying ''4 the key'' and not ''for the key''

Binary-coded decimal, or BCD, is a binary encoded representation of integer values that uses a 4-bit nibble to encode decimal digits

Perhaps something to do with this?

Yeah, I was thinking about that as well.

Of course, the decimal 4 is 100 in binary, so that might tell us that we have to look at the 100 image.
