''you want to use the contents of the virtual coins to do a calculation and then you want to bin the solution....Smiley''

''you actually deserve another clue
so feel free to add 000 000 000 to 999 999 999 to your list''

"Dance like a butterfly, sting like a b"

''Does it have to do with binary language?''

Steveturk:  Wink  (indicates that it has to do with binary language)

''Yes a calculation is required...''

''good idea, but the first part of the equation can be solved a by a 5 year old, once you have that answer you just need to throw it in the "bin"

''you want to use the contents of the virtual coins to do a calculation and then you want to bin the solution....''

incorrect, how on earth did you get to this number ?

{so far Azure has been the closest}

the order of the coins doesn't matter

Does the order of the characters matter?

no, it wouldn't have any effect

Is that number base10, base2, base8 or base16? (can you tell which? Smiley ) can't answer this, but its an important factor to consider

What values do the letters have and what are the numbers 001 000 100. It's not normal decimal numbers btw.

These are all the clues i found: From this i understand that the password of 9 characters is solved using a calculation, wich is really simple since it could be solved by a 5 year old probably a sum of some numbers because this operation doesnt affect in wich order the numbers are, because you also said it didnt matter. Now after that calculation you have to throw it in the bin but the result needs to have a letter at least since you said its not 000000000 - 999999999.  You also said azure has been the closest but he only posted a number when you said that wich is a bit misleading

You mentioned an equation. Does this mean the password is the solution to an equation with multiple variables?

And what is that equation that will produce a 9 digit result wow.

you want to use the contents of the virtual coins to do a calculation and then you want to bin the solution....Smiley

Steve, I don't get this.
Here you said that you need to do a calculation and that you want to bin the solution.
If I make a calculation, the result mostly doesn't consists of letters.

Guys, look what I made for you: http://pastebin.com/gv9cxThx

These are all the wrong answers given by anyone.

really appreciate this ! thanks

you actually deserve another clue

so feel free to add 000 000 000 to 999 999 999 to your list
Here you tell me that the code doesn't contain only letters.

So the solution needs to have at least 1 letter.
So the solution is not the outcome of the calculation? I don't get it.

All the clues are spot on, the more people guessed wildly the more difficult it became to follow the thread. But that is the nature of the beast, the clues are there!

You didnt answer the question at all, your clues are misleading

btw: 101010000

This is more statements than questions, so I can't really answer it.

Do we get unlimited guesses?

as many as you want, make sure you read the terms and conditions though!

FYI.
If you answer correctly and have not followed the terms and conditions, the next correct answer will be accepted (even if they copied your answer). If you do not want to claim the prize yourself and want to stay anonymous you will have to find someone else on bitcointalk that is prepared to claim and you need to work out a deal with them yourself.

If we can have unlimited guesses, can't we just guess every possible number?

Only 1 billion different combinations, should be easy to guess it huh

If this is allowed, I'll do it ^_^. There is probably a bot to calculate this.

A bot? What do you need a bot for, just count from 000 000 000 to 999 999 999 , the problem is how are you going to post all those numbers here? Did you think about that?

I don't see a problem here. We are no limited to one post so I could make multiple posts to post all the numbers

you going to post a billion posts? all that effort, why dont you just buy a coin then?

(im not sure it would be possible to post 100000,00 posts even)

If I got paid 1BTC to just paste the numbers I would do it.
