I don't think it's a bad idea in the context of a general marketing strategy. These online games are very popular among young people who love gaming, and I see the number of viewers of their live broadcasts on TikTok and YouTube in the thousands. Of course, marketing plans are calculated by results versus costs, so I imagine that the cost of sponsoring in this field is low compared to other advertising channels, and it brings traffic equal to or exceeds the expected results. If 1win will support other games, then it is definitely a successful plan.

To be honest, I haven't read anything about 1Win sponsoring teams in other e-sports. there are many other games with a large fan base that could be considered, such as League of Legends, where other well-known companies also sponsor teams.

However, many “big” teams already have sponsorship contracts, so I don't think it's that easy to find new and very good teams that you could sponsor and that would then also play at the very top. The longer the teams stay in the competitions, the more it pays off for companies like 1Win. Sponsoring a team that is knocked out in the first round is therefore not very profitable.

But maybe @robelneo knows more about whether other e-sports are in the plan?

I'm not sure how long they've been playing together, but building chemistry is hard if you're in a new team or don't have a coach. Some wiki pages shoes that at least 5 of them have been playing as a team since February last year, though I'm not sure if that's accurate. Based on their history I think there's a chance they'll improve though[1]. CMIIW.

Yes, I feel the same way as you. Especially with new services (both casinos and exchanges), I always have a stomachache when the payout takes longer than usual.
