The fact is the league has gotten to a critical stage as we are almost towards the middle of the season so small teams have started stepping up their games so any pundits saying that Ipswich is going to be relegated into the championship will be making mistakes because with what I can see the battle to escape relegation is tense in the bottom half of the table and with the January transfer window about to open teams will bring in some quality players to strengthen their squad so there is still chance for Ipswich not to be relegated this season
Weeks around Christmas and New Year festive days are very challenging for all clubs in Premier League and it can bring turning points for many clubs if they can not manage their player resources and maintain performances well.Weak clubs like Ipswich Town don't have deep player resources like big clubs and marathons in festive days with many matches within very short period, are so challenging. It can cause player injuries together with bad performances and player injury effects can last very long time later. Ipswich Town as a small club can not have too much abundant budget for player transfers in January window. This disadvantage can make problems more severe and worse for small clubs.

They are not far from each other and they have not too good performances, but around relegation zone is a surivival fights among several clubs. They can not wait for competitors to fall down for staying in Premier League, but they most proactively fight so hard with their as best performances as possible, to get points and improve their ranks then exit as farthest as possible from relegation zone.
