I vote for SUNNY KING from Peercoin and Primecoin
His proof of stake code is re-used everywhere and he continues to develop his coins 2 and a half years later.
(and he didn't even premine, ico, or ipo any of it. imagine that!!!??)

If this award is seen as even remotely influential, it will just be won by the King of the Sockpuppets.
Does the noble prize influence people to work harder? I believe the people who receive such an award are truly influenced by achievement and dedication to be honest, not in the hopes of being recognized, at least most of the time anyways. This was not brought to life to influence but rather to recognize and bring something good to the community in times where we are being surrounded with more and more not so influential news.
Just saying we can't take bitcointalk polls seriously 'cause it's a dirty sock basket, especially here in the anon forums.
I'm not disparaging the noble intent behind your prize, in fact we should go with your typo and call it the Noble Prize. (Not the Nobel prize, that would be an insult to bitcointalk polls).

- Peercoin, the first working PoS implementation (which is prospering),
- Primecoin, introducing a PoW that not only produces useless SHA (or whatever hashes) but also
- paved the ground for the Peershares template, which enabled the creation of NuShares and hence brought us NuBits!

I think additional requirement should be used...
The time a developer does his work... shortly known or unknown devs should wait for their turn...
I would consider:
1) Sunny King - developing first PoS coin,
2) BCNext - founder of NXT first PoS only coin with Brain Wallet.

- Sunny King is the first person who implemented PoS in Peercoin;
- Sunny King is the father of Primecoin which has scientific meaning in search of prime numbers;
