Just messaged all the owners to see if they would sell them. Anybody got any idea as to who got or is getting coin #10?

Hi
maybe its real. but honestly. LOL
his profile and trustscore says it all.

Looking at the people who sent those "trustscores", and looking through their own feedbacks and amount of blather they constantly post on everyones trust rating i think about 90% of anything negative on his trust rating can be taken with a grain of salt. Looking closley at it some of those people were rescently removed from the trust list for abusing the system including the guy who it looks starting the whole accusation.

Anyways, if it is a hoax, it took a whole lot of work to put it together. especially forging a comment on the forum 4 months ago about keeping the secret. If there is any truth to the matter, i am sure someone on this forum must have known something about this long before it went public. Maybe Blazedout419 or TECSHARE or one of his previous clients might have known something.

I'm curious as to if any of the guys who own these coins would be willing to sell them.

I guess if you get all of the coins for cheap enough then it might be worth the gamble to see if this is legit.

Hi
He could easily prove that the 5000 BTC exists by signing a statement using the private keys of the addresses containing the BTC.

I understand that he could do this but in the post he stated that is was going to be his last so if is holding true to that there will be no proof that the funds are real.

But but but, I saw it on the internet, it must be true!

Provide proof, otherwise you just threw away 5000BTC and a nice time capsule 'cause ain't nobody gonna waste time looking for something that doesn't exist.  Except people looking for religion.

Hi
Now that I read it again it looks fishy that he did not show a proof of the funds and that is his last post ever so assuming it is there is no way for there ever to be any proof of the funds.

For reasons which i am sure are obvious to most of you, much like Satoshi this will be my last post or presence on the world wide web to protect my identity.

Excellent troll, but I thought you went a bit over the top here.

Very nice laser cut coins, but you're a bit too late for April Fool's with this post  Wink
I very much doubt you own or ever owned 5000BTC and linking the post where you're trying to bribe another forum member doesn't help. Why is this even in "press"?

Are you trolling someone who is not even hear anymore? Thats classic man......

And believing that he is not "hear" anymore is double classic man....

I agree.  Very skeptical.

I hope it turns out to be true, would be a good tale, but I'm not holding my breath.

The carvings he had posted about were very well done.  Quite intricate and beautiful.
[edit: although looking at the trust scores, they may be laser done, so....]

would also strongly request that if somehow this is true, somehow someone got it, write a book about decrypting every little clue  Wink
as long as the journey goes on, write a page of the day spent..

Anyways, thats totally cool about the treasure and nice of him to give away all the money he saved from buying wood with bitcoin from the forum here. I wish i would have had the coin to buy one of the 10 coins when they were available. Those things just tripled or quadrupled in re-sale value.

Does anybody know who got coin #10 yet?

This all seems very odd. I don't care if he makes these coins manually or with a laser cutter (some of them are actually pretty nice, independently of how he made them), but after OP's recent surge of red trust... is it worth it joining the 10 pieces in the same physical place? What is there on those pieces that isn't achievable just by photographing them and photoshopping those pictures together? Also, why is he "disappearing"?

I don't see the folks who bought his coins joining themselves just to try and figure out this. But it would be epic if the funds were found, if this is a real puzzle.

Wow, that is pretty neat.  Being a purchaser of one of his pieces and spending some time interacting with WoodCollector has given me reason to believe that this could actually be true.  Very neat idea, and I wish the 10 lucky coin owners luck when searching for the treasure.

Hi
Well now I want someone to find it so we will know if it is real or not. The person who finds it if anyone will be very well off once they acquire the funds. The other thing that is weird is how he manged to get 5000btc without putting him self in the hole. I know he has done some high price sales in the past but I would never have guessed he would have had a million that he could just make a contest about.
