Strange I never said i ran an investment/financial company... and I only trade with escrow at the buyers expense. Its funny not many people know about the authenticity documents yet you seem to know a lot about them

If I am honest, I found out that Woodcollector was a liar and a thief and decided I do not want his pieces any more, no matter how rich he may be and famous. I was getting other pieces made by him but could no longer trust him as he did something very sneaky and also failed to ship a piece i ordered from him.

Paranoid much? Theymos has all but stolen over a million USD from members of this forums and i dont see anyone hunting him down yet.


Personal reasons like your afraid that someone who has been confirmed to know WC outside of magic internet land might reveal that your a liar and a con artist? Or personal like your magic investment / financial company that you run when your not being a teacher in Vietnam is bankrupt and you are desperate for cash?

Sure glad i asked around about you before i took you up on the offer to buy your coins. It's a shame you own any of those coins, if anything the treasure will never be found now because nobody is going to want to deal with you when they find out the type of person you are. I know i wont be buying any of the coins now so long as 2 of them are owned by you.

I've followed the story of these 10 wooden-art-coins with limited interest and am familiar with the controversy surrounding them.  To be honest, I am skeptical of the hidden treasure claim.  I would, however, like to say that I am glad WoodCollector decided to hide the "titanium air proof time capsule container" containing 1,000 bronze 5BTC denominated coins on this planet rather than some god-forsaken planet like HD 189773b where it rains glass and 4,000 mile per hour winds buffet the surface.  At the same time, I wonder aloud if these bronze coins are hand-carved...
 Still, in a land of sock-puppets and scammers, a story of buried treasure and the promise of riches linked to these 10 possibly "hand-carved", wooden, work-of-art coins would certainly increase their value.  I would imagine there are also criminal elements who would now stop at nothing to get their hands on these wooden-art-coins thereby placing the current owners directly in harm's way.  WoodCollecter, I know you have fled the forum but if any of your sock puppets are still around (provided you had any), you should know that you have done a disservice to your customers by placing their lives in danger for simply owning one of your works of art.  If I were an anonymous owner of one of these pieces, I would endeavour to remain anonymous.  It might be safest for all involved to secretly gather together all of those allegedly "hand-carved" wooden art coins, place them in a 22" by 8" round "titanium air proof time capsule container" and launch them into space on the next flight out.  Perhaps future generations will be better equipped to deal with the drama.

The 10 coin owners should join together and figure it out themselves.  If it's real, that's 500 btc a piece.  No need to share with the whole outside world.  Not much of a treasure hunt for more than 10 people.

You sound like Nubbins and Smoothie. being a newcomer to the WC ordeal and doing a lot of homework into the topic i see 0 evidence that he ever scammed anyone, in fact it seems all of his clients have been on this thread and seem quite happy with their purchases.

Posting proof that the BTC are under his control would change things:
He is a dedicated scammer who loves details and believes some of his own lies.

This might be a unsolvable puzzle.... If you need other people, who found the previous coins to go to the next location, it would be a flawed system. {People will not share this information}

Rather have 10 separate coins {Each with a prize} and then have a final lotto for the 10 winners to see who wins the 5000 BTC.

Here is hoping this is real....

I do understand the reservations in taking pictures, but... if you don't take pictures to your own coin, how can you expect other will take pictures of their? Is not taking pictures worth the risk of losing out on 5000 BTC?

As for his youtube videos, I've seen them, and they did not change my opinion about him: he makes pretty wooden coins, and that's all I care for, and I hope the folks who bought them are happy.

As was stated previously, it is a trivial matter to just provide the wood or tree addresses and make all of the noise go away.  I am sure one of you smart lads could parse blockchain to see if there are indeed 1000 address with 5BTC each that fit the description.

After that the real puzzle could start.

Not trying to be rude or question you at all but did i miss something? Where is the picture? I could care less about the hand carved debate i'm just interested in seeing your coin close up to see what your talking about.

I messaged all of the owners of the coins, it seems they are all for sale except TECSHARE's as i had never received a reply from him, although not mentioning any names one of the coin owners thinks his coins are going to go for a small fortune now so its highly unlikley that any single person will be able to buy them all.

It took me a while to put it together that "TH" stood for TerraHasher. It is my understanding that his account got banned from the person i was talking to so i dont think he will be much help unless one of you know if he has a new account or how else to contact him. I did find out what the whole paying to remove his posts was about though. It seems TerraHasher came across some information from a P.M. that got hacked pertaining to one of WC's customers who was asking about "where all those bitcoins were going to" as the customer sent payment to WC for an art piece and the payment got transfered to an address with a large balance that was dispensing 5BTC each to a bunch of addresses that started with 1Wood or 1Tree and WC replied simply that "he was giving them away once all 10 coins were sold" When TH found out about it i guess he asked in that thread if he was really going to give away 5,000BTC once all 10 coins were sold or something to that effect.

I see a lot of arguments from either side of the argument about the legitimacy of this all and i really hate to take sides as i can see pretty clearly how fast a mob rises up around here but i do have to comment that i see a lot of truth in what tecshare said after i looked through all that negative feedback on WC's account then looked into who sent it all. Nubbins who appears to be the instgator of the whole thing unless i missed something has since been removed from the default trust list for his constant abuse of it like what he did to WC. CanaryInTheMine himself one of the accusers and use to be reputable people here on the forum has since been bumped down on the trust list because of his abuse, and pretty much every other name on the list that left WC neg feedback is clearly a troll or child as when you look through their own feedback both sent and recieved all you find is a huge temper tantrum and people negging them for being so careless and abusive with the trust system.

Putting all that aside, again this is only my personal opinion, but WoodCollector is gone, there is evidence that the mention of this secret has been known by a few forum members for many many months so this is not something he just cooked up two days ago, and the fact that he made 0 mention of this treasure until the day he dissappeared which shows it was not about inflating the value of his coins to try and scam people with this treasure into paying more for the coins and also that no matter what angle i look at it from there is 0 way that WC would stand to make a profit from any of this if it were a scam or otehrwise. I myself am about 90% certian that this treasure is real and those coin owners are some lucky son's-of-BTC's

I think the entire point behind it all was that it would be so hard to get all 10 coins in one place, even more so that somehow the clues on each coin are hidden in or on the coin in a fashion which cannot be decoded without having coin #10 in the presence of it. If it was going to be easy WC might as well of just started throwing private keys woth 5BTC each in the streets of major citys and there would be no treasure hunt at all. If your going to go out a legend or leave behind a legacy i think a super difficult treasure that could take years if not decades to find would be the way. Although by the time it is found 5,000BTC will probably be worth a few dollars if even that much as i'm sure that SHA-256 will be obsolete by then.

It would be trivially easy for OP to prove this is legit, and yet no such proof exists. In other words, there is no $1M prize.

He did post it. Not only was he banned from this forum that day (he unbanned himself with an exploit), but ALL of the videos on his youtube were reported and removed for copyright infringement, including the ones showing detail work because there was music playing on the radio in the background. In short he already went out of his way to prove his innocence to a bunch of stalker idiots here just to have his accounts shut down and was tired of playing games. Use your own eyeballs/brain instead of listening to the mob of neckbeards who harassed/negged him. Again, look at the picture I linked from the coin I hold. Show me where you can find a laser engraver or CNC that leaves the wood grains behind like that as if it was hand carved. That would be a pretty neat machine.
