Well we're not doing too bad right now (knock on wood) so 2017 might be even better. And then 2 more years til its 10th anniversary. Isn't that crazy?
I'd say that 2016 was more of a Bitcoin year. Really good stuff happening and a lot of good stuff is about to happen.
2017 will not be the year because 2016 will already be it in my eyes due to the upcoming events that are coming this year.

what upcoming events are you talking about? there is only the block halving that people put too much faith in and maybe the block size that will get increased to 2mb this year. the latter will most likely have only a very short term price increase as result.

who saying the truth, ?the other one says 2016 is year of bitcoin.. and when 2016 have passed without any significance made to bitcoin. then another being will be saying that 2018 is the year bitcoin , and so on.Plus another fact is that the bitcoin is heavily growing these days so that is a good sign.

And you have to also take some risks with Bitcoin otherwise it would be not possible to take any profit.

Bitcoin is much more popular then 2 years ago and if everything goes well after halving and we see some nice rise even more people will join in 2017 ( one reason ).
When we speak about price we can also see how stable btc is over 400 $ this year, much better then to years ago and again I hope so we can see some nic2 big price next year, stable! ( second reason ).
Where could people spend and use btc 2 years ago? This year we saw bovada and steam accept btc payments, and many more before them.. again I believe next year others will join also. So that is reason number 3.
Yeah for today another milestone for bitcoin and it reach again slowly to online store now steam and bovada accepts bitcoin and well hope in online shopping store bitcoin will accepted im year 2017, but for now let ls focus for its year because i can say every year is the year of bitcoin becuase it surpase every years trials and price keeps rising and its very nice to is iser because it has great effect for use users.

If 2016 halving makes the present year effective, we'll see a big price and this gives a gradual increase in price on 2017. So only if 2016 doesn't look to be effective 2017 might get small probability of being the year of bitcoin.
I believe also that bitcoins will rise its value in 2017. It will become more stable with the support of massive adoption from different industries, I hope that time the online stores industry will have a massive adoption so we can choose a good merchant. Right now the gambling industry is very well adopting and I believe it will multiply by year 2017.

Everyone is hoping that the value will be more worth in the future and that is because they want to sell it soon in the future and that should be perfect and also nice for the currency itself.
But the bad thing is that you never know what can happen with the currency itself so you have to also now that it can takes a long time until it would be more worth.

I think now is the year of bitcoin because we will see that the price will increase more around 600-900 after block halving..
This is just my though.. but if we see more great opportunity in 2017 about bitcoin and more store are accepting bitcoin as payment.. maybe 2017 is the year of the bitcoin..

i also hear that. but i am very much hopefull that the present year will also be the year of bitcoin. people are predicting that i jully the bitoin rate will increase to double. i think in 2017 most the people will be aware of bitcoin.
