Yeah and time passes we will see more users getting into bitcoins and by next year we may see many big companies adopting bitcoin which will help in taking price higher.

3 months left until 2017, by looking at 2016, 2017 can be the year of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is really high and good thing happened on 2016, the halving. For 2017, it might be yes.

This Will not be the year of the bitcoin because it came to early you know. The year of the bitcoin will be atleast allot more years later and that is only because i think that more people will use it in the future and not for now or a year later.

Nobody know what happen after halving. Maybe bitcoin will not grow and 2017 will be worst year for bitcoin but i hope that everything will be okay. Halving will help to bitcoin become much bigger and stronger.

I want to be agree with you. altcoins are getting huge appreciation already. and upcoming year will bring another milestone for them.
bitcoin is pretty much stable. but altcoin doing a great job here.
I am seeing a lot of altcoin raising millions of dollars in their ICO rounds.. live examples are ICONOMI, Antshare etc.

In every business their is always profit and loss , it is upto us to chose the correct product and when to sell and when to hold, Loss mostly occurs due to greediness. In Altcoins leaving some coins with good projects which is true that altcoin you can hold for long, balance most of todays new coins are just pump and dump, If you start to love Altcoins just like bitcoin for long term, then you will be in loss, as out of 10 altcoins 9 will die and 1 can give you profit, but that 1 coin profit wont compensate your loss.

I think coming year 2017 bitcoin will get more support from Altcoin as in the market their are lot of new coins coming in that some of them are really in good project so it will give more support to bitcoin as everyone knows that in the end every altcoin users have to sell it for bitcoin.

Why are you so harsh with linux? I don't think linux is contributing a lot in the world for being an open source / free source yearly. But I am hoping that bitcoin is going to pump for the year of 2017. And a lot of good things are going to happen for next year so that all of us are going to become happy before Christmas.

Yes and the future of altcoin is unpredictable and its better to play with them in short term as holding them long doesn't make any sense, it may make you to loose all your money.

In each year if bitcoin progresses to some extent that means it was the year of bitcoin so i feel all the years where bitcoins moves up are the years of bitcoin but there is no particular year of bitcoin, maybe as you say some new and good altcoins may come to the market in coming year.
