in 2018, for especially in January until now bitcoin prices are rather bleak and complicated. difficult to predict the price will rise to how many dollars. many predict it will rise to 20k worth. to go up to 10k is still difficult nowadays.
Since end of an amazing last year, we have been going down like a waterfall. And frankly it was all desired for sanity to return to this world. In 2018, I excpect a lot of consolidation. Lot of easy money will stop to flow. Only serious players shall survive, those who put efforts behind the plans and have product to back it up.
Ethereum fall largely may be attributed to ICOs raising ethers and then selling them in open market to encash. With reduced ICOs and reduction in easy money, it has good chances to rise again from here.

My prediction that bitkoin at least by the end of the year would have risen at least to 15-17 thousand so that I could go to zero. But this may not happen. So far, there is a trend to decline, I'm not panicking and I'm waiting for winter. I hope my expectations will be met and all of us will succeed.

Well for 2018 like i said before, I expect many countries to come up with regulations about cryptos, 2018 will be a tough year for crypto but by year end, it will get better and it will get even better going 2019.

I predict the price of cryptocurrency in 2018 will experience a sharp decline and many bad news that attack bitcoin, while bitcoin will be able to rise again and do bitcoin price recovery seems at the end of this year.
I expect that transactable coins that actually have functionality will be the big winners. ICX, WTC, VEN, NEO, XLM and others that target enterprise-oriented use cases will likely be the focus over the this year.

In my prediction BTC will have growth to $30-40k till the end of the year. Next few months market will very volatile.
The thread has started few month back and we can check the predictions done has come true or not now. As at today, my opinion is, BTC ans ETH will have huge resistance to rise again. The main reason is the community is over crowded with people who do have the fundamentals of crypto and their panic selling.
now small startups is slowly getting rid off by the big player. next quarter we will more big player or government intervention. hence making bitcoin, ETH and the rest of altcoin rise up double of what we saw last year. Prepare your wallet.

this year's crypto will make rapid progress where the government will be a bit mixed about bitcoin and there is a certain ban, hopefully, there is no multiplying decline after the government takes over.
Earlier prediction for bitcoin at the beginning of this year was in the range of $40000 to $50000 but at the moment, these predictions are not like looking feasible anymore. Though the year is still young but it look impossible for bitcoin to get to 50k this year!

To be honest I had great expectations for this year, I thought it could really be the most important year of the cryptocurrencies history but it's turning into a nightmare...
