Altcoins are developing very fast and I think we will see great results this year. I owe altcoins, more than 10 and I am confident to see this year being the altcoin year
Last night indeed so dire many people are thinking it will be the end of cryptocurrency , but i do still believe cryptocurrency still have some great potential and now it bounce back again even so its still undervalue than few weeks agoo. i do think altcoin will increasing and there will be time where bitcoin not dominant anymore and i hope it will happening cause bitcoin seems distrupting the real value of altcoins. So i hope its true that altcoins will rise in 2018.
Personally, I think that this year will be very profitable. I hope so.
many saying that alt coin will be dead that is their prediction but who knows despite of red days of alts there is something good to happen regarding with price of many alts . but today we are pretty much sure that price of many coins were not that good let us wait we are in the first quarter of the year .
I really hope it will be a good year for altcoins. Many people lost so much lately so we are all hungry for some good news. 
currently all altcoins are in red, obviously it would grow and resume back to its track very soon. Tiil then its better to invest and gather as many coins as one needs.

I really hope it will be a good year for altcoins. Let's see when and how the market will settle , then we can talk about the future. 
In my opinion, a lot of unknown coins will rise in price than what many people will make rich, but such tokens are very small because it should be a strong project with a good team.
Everyone will agree that 2017 was a good year for ALTCOIN. I am a little worried this trend won't last forever.
I consider this moment is a perfect entry point for buying altcoins and then they will rise with declining bitcoin values earlier this year,
it is not possible for traders and investors to buy and hold altcoin.

Honestly speaking, at this stage, I still doubt whether it is worth buying the altcoins because the market is still going down, and there is no information when it goes up.
There always no information about when it will goes up or down. Thats just pure speculation.
One thing we need to prepare is strategy. What will we do if the price falling or increas after buying. We need to have plan B or C for our strategy. It can reduce our loss and increase our profit.
I agree, 2018 years like a good for altcoin.
We will see much more new projects in 2018 years than ever. In short 2017 years was whitepaper era and 2018 years is project era. Some of them will become top 100 or even top 10 coin in marketcap. So choose altcoins that seem to be having a good potential for growth in the long term.

So far 2018 has been a total disaster for my family regarding cryptos and ICOS, because all the coins we are holding have tanked around 90% since January the 13th of this year, so only the first few days in January were good and I missed the boat and didn't sell the coins when I should of because if I had bought them back now I would have good profits to take home AND also a lot more coins to hold, so I feel like crap right now. I do hope at some point the rest of 2018 brings in some better luck for us longer term holders, we live in hope rofl. 
Yes, 2018 will be a good year for many altcoins especially for those who had ICOs in the year 2017 because most of them must release a working product somewhere in 2018.
Choose altcoins that seem to be having a good potential for growth in the long term. Yea 2018 is a good opportunity to grow for altcoins, some of them are doing great eg. ethereum, ripple etc.
all altcoin will definitely continue to grow from year to year, and I will support all altcoin, but I will choose, which promises to me for the future
I will agree my friend, altcoin is one of the promising coins like eth for sure it will rise to a big amount or ltc and are lots of coins in altcoin that you will never regret.And for me I think this year altcoin has a move in a minimal but continuous, it will bloom to surprise us. We just need to be patience as always and think always what is the best way to make us progressive.

Of course, 2018 is a very good year for Alternate coins, we have seen quite numbers of reputable coins in the first quarter of the year which others are still coming up. one of the best is Dbrain
I agree the year 2018 is a good and growing altcoin year seeing the look of an ever-increasing altcoin market, this is certainly a good time to invest, and of course before investing we are encouraged to choose which altcoin is suitable for investment.

I guess we'll see at least 3-5 coin make a big breakthrough. There are many such coins that carry a lot of potential within themselves.
