yes most of the time. most coins have great potential from the year starts also. but now its declined due to fuds. but i believe blockchain and crypto currency also.
Yeah. 2017 was good and we all hope that 2018 will be the best year for us wherein we will achieve the best gains there is for us. Let's be optimistic and hope that the universe will conspire itself to make it happen. 
It will be an excellent year for altcoins and for bitcoin. And now we have a great time to get into crypto. And while skeptics doubt and shout "the bubble burst" smart traders buy altcoins which are on the bottom.
Every time there's a crash (e.g. every January) everyone starts with the whole "IT'S A BUBBLE!" excuse. But yeah, it's probably a pretty good time to buy low now and sell high later. The whole year is ahead of us

For now next thing to pump in line is BTC - till spring it'll be pumping hard again, and alts remains stagnant for now, but will catch up later, same as happened in December - BTC rallied and alts picked up the slack later, so cycles always repeats

The total altcoins values dip is a sign of their strong growth down the line. Better to pitch in now and crap as much as one can along with bitcoin. XRP set is market cap strong in recent days if you look at in coinmarketcap.com as like other top ten altcoins. 2018 would seriously be spoken in history.

This year will increase a lot those altcoins, which have now little Cap and will help to scale the industry of blockchain, it`s the fact.
I also hope to strengthen the position of altcoins in 2018. Especially I hope for ethereum. It should become even more popular.

So many people are freaking out, the same people who wanted to be a millionaires before 2019. I don't think 2018 is bad year yet. It is still January and we have 11 whole months and a half. It is too early to make any conclusions, but I am still expecting great year.

I think that 2018 will be the year of different periods like it was in 2017. But common tendency to grow will continue I am sure. So it is time to invest in the coins we believe. They will grow inevitably.
