So it's really a intriguing finals match-up, Kyrie harboring resentment against the Celtics, and then Tatum and Brown trying to erase that stigma against the Warriors in 2022 wherein they have a good lead in the series only to crumble down.
All of those stats won't be relevant anymore as the important thing here is who's going to get the title and who contributes more not just in points but all kinds of stats and situational plays.
I guess that whoever gets to do some contribution on crucial plays even with lesser points, they're always being honored not just by the team but most of the fans.
I think it's relevant though, I mean this players are the heart of soul of their respective teams so it's very important for them to at least get into their scoring averages. This is the finals so expect a lot of tough defense from both teams, so meaning it's going to be very different to score. But they will have to lead their teams no matter what. I remember Brown not shooting very well against the Pacers in game one but as one of their leaders, he had to shoot that 3 and force the OT and win the game for them. Same with Luka in game 4, he had bad shooting night and so they didn't sweep the Wolves. But he learn from that lesson and shoot the lights out in game 5 from the first quarter alone and then 4-1 win for them.
