Lonzo Ball is being reported as playing in full five on five scrimmages with no setbacks. I think he’s had a rough career so far due to his injuries. Him and LeBron I thought played well together when they had a chance. Hopefully he can get it all together this season and get back to doing what he does best.

On the one hand, Lonzo Ball is still young and has plenty of time to at least return to his former playing shape after injury. On the other hand, he is too injury-prone, and he has not been able to reach his full potential in the five seasons he has played. Moreover, next season will be the last season of his contract, and it seems there will be little demand for him next offseason because of his injury-prone nature.

Lauri Markkanen signed a 5-year contract extension with Utah Jazz for 238 million dollars.
I think him and his agent did well in getting this deal extension with Utah Jazz. With all of the rumors that Warriors and other teams wanting to take him, they'd probably increased his value or at least got what they want. I don't have an idea how much his past contract with Utah Jazz but that seems to be the deal here.

Its like giving pressure to the side of Jazz and they are successful for making them decide to increase his salary so that they can retain him. But also lets give credits to Warriors for keeping their existing offer since the trade between them with Jazz didn't happened and Markkanen get the benefits for that deal which didn't go through.

He's still a high caliber player and for sure he would be useful for Jazz since Markkanen can contribute on both ends. So I guess this already end up the rumor and for sure Warriors fans is now waiting for next update on who are their target players possibly to be added in their roster.

I guess the speculation is over. Lauri is staying with the Jazz. This is probably the same team as last season, likely to tank again in the end. They'll probably trade him eventually, as it seems like last season was just an experiment and they're trying to rebuild. A big man's value is significant, especially if he can shoot from outside, and Lauri has a good stroke. It's a well-deserved contract, and now his future is secured.

He'd get better playing time there I guess. This is the path of most of the NBA players that are past with their careers there. And I think Watanabe has also chose not to stay in the NBA but with B League in Japan to get more playing time.

Speaking of his NBA careeer, I think the talent is already there. What ANT needs to learn is to be more mature and have full confidence in carrying his team. If KAT gets traded, ANT would become the sole main go-to guy, which would surely make him better.

Last year was his break out run, and the team are still intact next season and so they wil go for sure for another run this October and then his full confidence might have spill to his team mates. So we will see how ANT will be, but I'm seeing him really improving and maybe we can insert his name in the discussion for the MVP this upcoming season as the leader of the Wolves.

They still got that shot and if he continue to push his way and be mature enough attacking his routine and really take his time focusing to how he can help his team, it's not always your individual talents but also on how you will blend yourself with every players that will be playing alongside with you inside the court.

I think there's a good chance for them the boost that they've got after beating the defending champ then move forward to the next round just being short after Mavs beats them in th west finals.

What they made last season is good achievement for their team already and we could able to see that their team would provably became more better especially they got good experience last season. For sure Wolves will be in revenge mode and there's no question that their team still a title contender this season.

Confidence still there and provably teams on east would see them as good threat especially that lots of them provably improved more.

Last run will really boost their morale since they provably think they can do it and what needed to do is to became more better as a team.

The Lauri Markkanen deal baffles me a bit, but I’ll admit I didn’t see him play at all last year in Utah. I also read something about the Warriors trying to sign him, which I found odd at the time, but maybe he has got some skills that have been hidden away with him playing for a team without any real fan draw.

I think he deserves that deal though, he has been averaging like 24 ppg for the Utah Jazz, and seldom we have seen such big guy (expect maybe for Jokic), who can run and do everything at both ends of the floor.

And so it make sense that the Jazz management will have to make a good deal as there are a lot of suitors like the Warriors although the Golden State might have a chance to get him but they didn't want to include Podz in the deal. They think that this sophomore might be their biggest ace as they don't have Klay anymore. But I guess we really don't know what's going on with the Warriors are they are willing to let go of Jordan Poole and then Klay already.

Anthony Edwards is showing that he’s the best basketball player in the world right now. He’s got the 3rd least minutes played in the Olympics so far for Team USA and is leading the team in scoring while shooting 63% from the field and 54% from three point range. I think next year will be a breakout season for him where he’s discussed in the MVP race.

Isn't it what he said though before the start of the Olympics? That he will be their first option and we just have to laugh it out because we all know that there is Lebron and Steph and KD in the lineup so how  can he be the best offensive weapon?

So I guess ANT really wanted to be the next superstar isn't it, starting here in the Olympics and then when they got home, he will be the biggest superstar. Anyhow, it might be better if he can bring his team to the golds and then this season, becoming a NBA champion, that will be fitting for this young fellow.
It starts with his self-confidence because he truly believes he is the best NBA player right now. He demonstrated his skills and significantly helped Team USA win by dominating their opponents. Now, they are in the semi-finals against Serbia. I don't think we can expect much from Team Jokic, as they cannot dominate Team USA by playing a physical game. Team USA can match up well and could even outperform them. However, ANT has the freedom to do what he wants because his teammates are superstars, and their wins are by huge margins, so less pressure.

He is really full of self-confidence, but for sure in the Olympics, I think Lebron and other veterans have something to say on ANT. But yeah, I mean he is young and flamboyant and very athletic and in the first game against Serbia, he has that one steal against Jokic and you can see that Nikolai is frustrated as in the other end, ANT has a dunk.

Edwards explosion will always be noticed I think everyone already agreed that Anthony Edwards is a real the and heir to the face of the NBA for year to come, but I'm afraid he'll be needing a lot of help to get things done, like a shot at the MVP or even a championship ring, with the same squad, I doubt they'll perform better than they did last season, as for Individually Edwards surely gets better with everyday that goes by and I don't expect that to change next season, but we'll see.

If edwards.elevates his game amd the other guys fall in line they have the right mix to win.  McDaniel and gobert on defense is elite.  Jaden to me is the key piece there, he can cover up and down the other team.  If edwards steps forward amd becomes that leader along with his offensive skills Minnesota will be one of the favorites for sure.  Not a bad pick honestly to make the finals.

Anthony Edwards having 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the regular season for a team is considered a highly defensive team seemed pretty much way above just a good performance imo, even when I think those numbers didn't fully justify how well he played, but there is still so much room for improve to be in the MVP conversation, I'm not gonna lie.

Lauri Markkanen signed a 5-year contract extension with Utah Jazz for 238 million dollars.

The Warriors were said to be very much interested in trading for Lauri Markkanen, but the deal breaker as per some tweets I read on X (twitter) was because it was reported that Warriors wouldn't be willing to include Brandin Podziemski at all in the trade or of any kind, and Utah Jazz also wouldn't have any other way. I can quite agree with Warriors stance after losing Klay Thompson, Podz is likely their next in line future guard and also very young at that, however, I'm only curious as to where that same thought process was when the traded Jordan Poole in order to end up with Chris Paul.

His stats in Utah are good and have improved a lot compared to when he was with Cleveland and the Chicago Bulls. For me, this contract for Lauri Markkanen is worth it, and for sure, it will encourage him to play even better. I think the Utah Jazz can make the playoffs this year as long as they stay healthy throughout the season, unlike last season when most of them were injured.

To be fair JJ Reddick isn't really the coach, and neither Nate nor Scott, it is not really something that they are doing so they would coach the team, it is Lebron and Lakers are finally letting him be. At Cavs Tyron Lue wasn't the coach neither, he was just there so that Lebron would coach the team, and same is going to happen with Tyron Lue here. When Lebron is at the game, he is the LeCoach and he is going to make the decisions and I am guessing that we are going to end up with something quite awesome for the players as well.

What they need though is trades, and FA signings, because the current squad is nowhere near the level they should be to win the league, they are barely at playoff level, older AD and very old Lebron is not enough for a team to go all the way, best case is playoffs, they need some young blood, some good players who could join the team and be very good. I do not know who they can get, but they need someone.

I don't know if Paul George has anything to worry about just yet, at least not more than he's had to worry about with the LA Clippers in the last few years, right ? I saw Tyrese Maxey's interview edition on the Podcast P show, and it was all merry and good vibes only talking about how much and easy it was with play with Joel Embiid and how many version of Joel Embiid there is with the 76ers, I don't want to believe that's just coming from Maxey, simply because he's an absolutely always happy guy, and I don't think I've ever caught even on court with a negative energy or wrinkle on his face, so coming from him, it's only natural to have nothing but positive comments on how easy it will be for Paul George to settle right into rhythm at Philly.

Honestly, I doubt that the 76ers can contend for a title in the upcoming regular season. Even if Paul George finds the right rhythm with his new team and the George-Embiid duo performs well, it will hardly be enough to compete with teams like the Celtics and Bucks in the playoffs.

I wouldn't count the Bucks in anymore, as they struggled significantly last season and were in decline even after Lillard came in, especially with a new coach. I think the real challenge for the 76ers is the Boston Celtics. If the 76ers can face them in the ECF, I believe they have a chance of beating the defending champions. However, Embiid's health is crucial; without him, things will remain the same, even with PG already on board with the team.

as we can see here, 76ers are mostly at the top 3 in the NBA futures.
