In my opinion, the rosters of the Clippers, Wolves, and Cavs look promising.

These three teams supported their squads well.
But the strongest among them are the Clippers as we know.
I don't think Minnesota and Cavaliers will have much of a chance in the NBA finals. Because they don't have a real all-star player on their team. Like Kawhi Leonard.

The team that I am most excited to see is the Memphis Grizzlies. They are so silent this off-season. I am excited what their young players can bring this new season. They are not at their peaks last season. Now they are more experienced.

They will definitely make a comeback this upcoming season because they suffered too much humiliation when they were about to be eliminated in the playoffs. they really need to regain their momentum as they did last season cause they were awesome and they actually beat the teams that are expected to be stronger than them and they played real teamwork too. I'm also a fan of Ja Morant's incredible dunks, I'm looking to see more of that when I'm not expecting it in a game.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Ben Simmons fits in with Kyrie and KD.

Everyone is so excited about Simmons, Kyrie and KD.
Last season I expected Ben Simmons to play, but he didn't play in any games.
Let's see how it will be this season for the Brooklyn Nets.  I hope they will be champions this year.

Also, Kahwi has started training and his form is very good, and I am very hopeful of him this year.

Aside from the KD-Simmons-Kyrie trio, the Kawhi-Wall-PG13 too is the trio that NBA fans want to watch and curious on how they will play with each other.

In Brooklyn, KD is a very good sniper no doubt to that. Kyrie is a good ball handler and a good shooter as well. Simmons is a pass first player and a very good defender so his offensive skills might not be needed like KD and Kyrie but it's good still to learn to shoot especially those threes Cheesy.

In Clippers, Kawhi and PG is an all-around player. Both of them can shoot and defend. Wall on the other hand is a good ball handler as well. I'm more curious about how these 3 will fit to each other and help the team reach the first-ever NBA Finals if ever they will reach it.

The similarities between these 6 players is that, they are very prone to injuries like all of them got injured in the last 2-3 years.

5 days until nba preseason kicks off. Starting to look like the Lakers aren’t going to get their roster problems figured out. I’m looking forward to seeing how Ben Simmons fits in with Kyrie and KD. Also excited to see Zion Williamson healthy again. Looking to be an exciting season. I wonder if Giannis is still getting better…
Giannis. I hope he is practicing his shooting skills. If he mastered it, he will be difficult to stop as he will be able to use it for new moves like hesitations.
The Nets. As long as they work as professionals it will be good. Now that Kyrie can play all of the games without the need for a vaccine there's a chance they will take the top of the East.
Zion. Well, something is included in his contract so we might see a thinner Zion with more agility.
4 more days and the preseason will start.

Everyone is excited. Is Zion thinner now? In the past Zion asked for a trade. Could it be because of the weight limit included in his contract? These players nowadays are becoming more demanding just like Ben Simmons. There will be some changes in the CBA soon.

If Durant and Irving avoid injuries and are on the court for most the year, they will end up a top 4 team in the East.  They are just too good to lose a bunch of games.  Might actually look at their over/under on wins and take an over. 🤔

That will not matter anyway because they cannot be coached. When they enter the playoffs, when minor adjustments are very important, they will not survive. They cannot win the playoffs on talent alone. They need to be able to listen to their coach and trust him. Look what happened to them last playoffs, they got swept by the Celtics.

Going back to this Ime Udoka drama… I’m not sure how serious people are, but I’m hearing rumors that his affair went further than just with the female staff member that’s been in social media… There are now rumors that he was also having inappropriate relationships with players… Maybe people are being crazy for clicks, but I suspect that Matt Barnes was right when he said that this story is 1000x crazier than anyone realizes right now.

There is very little information out and the information we got is somewhat vague so most probably will jump to conclusions or create speculations. But this rumor is very bizarre. I guess it will get crazier as the days go by without more information about it.

I am pondering on the suspension if it was right. But Boston Celtic's management won't suspend Udoka if his issues are not that serious. They are hoping the issue to die down after the suspension and maybe they can let him return in the middle of the season. But things are getting worse. I read a news yesterday about the possibility of completely removing Udoka as a head coach. This is a disaster to the team because basketball fans assumed them to be the team to beat in this new season.

Iggy can still play though, but they could use him in bench and locker room in mentoring the young bloods. Saw him making good effort in coaching his teammates courtside.
Iggy is also one of the toughest foundation in GSW together with Steph, Thompson, and Green. These 4 jerseys would definitely be hanged on the rafters when they're all retired.
He was never really getting any real minutes to begin with, he got 20 minutes last year for example and we all know they were mainly in garbage time as well, which means that he gets like 12-15 minutes of playing time for proper periods, and he will be replaced with one of the young players there from now on. He hasn't scored over 10 ppg for around 10 years now if I am not wrong, he is just there to pass and defend, that's all his duties are.
I agree that it's more udanishaslem type of deal where he is just helping the younger players become better, nothing more. Plus they are a team that's paying a huge salary these days, including the luxury tax, so another vet minimum wouldn't really matter to them anyway.
You're right. Iggy hasn't averaged more than 10 points per game since he was traded to the Warriors in the 13-14 season. By the way, a fun fact is that Iggy managed to be the MVP final of the 14-15 season, and he is probably the only player who could do that with such low-average stats. Whatever it was, it's obvious that his current role on the team is to be a mentor like Haslem for the Heat.

yes, in the past couple of years, he has been a great mentor to the younger members of the team. It appears to me that he is one of those players who is getting about 10 to 12 minutes of the court each game and scoring somewhere around double digits. In addition to that, he assists other players such as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson by helping them get more rest in between games, and overall he makes other players play better by providing them with some rest. It is worth mentioning that he has also been working really well lately with the younger players, mentoring them, correcting their mistakes, and guiding them from the sideline, which is a great addition to GSW as he is helping them create assets for themselves.

Preseason starting sooon.
What I will be looking at are the rookies.

Still rooting for my team, Pistons better do something with the picks you got.

Also that Simmons, Irving and Durant.

A lot of teams did some real powerup huh.

In my opinion, the rosters of the Clippers, Wolves, and Cavs look promising. However, these and other teams can only succeed if their players avoid serious injuries. As for the Nets and their "big" trio, I doubt they can succeed this upcoming season because they will probably have poor chemistry in the locker room. In addition, it isn't clear whether Simmons will be useful for the Nets or whether he still has not solved his mental problems.

I wouldn't put too much on the Nets this season, things have been said already, and I don't think that it can bring back the chemistry, like Nash-KD (asking his coach to get fired), or KD-Simmons, (KD asking in their GC and the Ben leaving the group), Nets-Irving (his prima donna attitude that cost them to almost trade Kyrie this season).

If there is any then it could be worst for the 3 in the Nets, just saying.

Yes, it's much better to see returning players such as Kawhi with the Clippers, or any other power upgrade by teams.

The Los Angeles Clippers just add John Wall, I don't see him will bring an impact to the team. It's still on Kawhi and Paul George. It's hard to bounce back from a torn Achilles injury even he is fit to play now.

The Minnesota Timberwolves add another big man. It might give them a boost.

The Cavaliers added Donovan Mitchell. Also, a boost as this guy is still in his prime.

I'm not actually excited but of course, I want to see the chemistry of these 3.

We know these 3 got involved in a big drama before and I want to see how will they return the favor to the team that gambled signing them.

Talking about the possibility of them winning the championship in the upcoming season, I don't think they are close to achieving it but they are in my Top 5.

Good luck to the Pistons then whilst, for the Nets roster. Yeah, many are expecting them to do better than the last season.
It's all on them now, they really got a buff team and hopefully that they'll end up with a better season and no more drama and issues.

I am also excited for Kawhi, he did not play the whole season last season. And with the Clippers now have John Wall, I am excited to see the new dynamics in that team.

John Wall also didn't play the whole 2021-22 for the Houston Rockets. His excitement to return must now be at its peak and expect him to slowly return to his usual form, not the same during his prime but a good role player where is known to.

However, we all know that John Wall is now an injury-prone player that started in 2017. He only played 113 games within the last 5 seasons. I hope this season, he can play all of their entire games and if fortunate, can play again in the playoffs.

Everyone is looking forward for this 3 to play, remember that there have been a lot of personal issues in them. KD wanted out, Kyrie's so-so performance and his non vaccine stance causing him to missed a lot of games, Simmons coming from the brutal divorce from Sixers.

And so there is speculation that they might not click, but we can only judge them once they played together healthy this season.

Also, Kahwi has started training and his form is very good, and I am very hopeful of him this year.

I think he has been training for months now, or at least when his doctor says that he can go back at it. Just now that we have seen some videos and picture of his, specially on how he developed his quads, to make it stronger and to help him prevent another series lower leg injuries.

Well, that's right.

They'll have that salary cap and that's why some of them has to let go and be traded. As a player goes into a championship, I guess that they're also bound to increase their salaries and contracts.

And the GSW management can't keep with that and maybe, that's a brilliant thing for some of those that wanted to increase their salary but, they'll no longer be part of that great championship team that they've been part of.

The players already knew that they have no choice at all when they are being selected to be drafted so that the team will not pay excessive luxury tax, NBA is business after all as well as the franchise. If the players earn, the franchise needs to earn and save too, that's the point. If only luxury tax wasn't there, I bet the teams in the league will be so stacked up because they will be keeping their players especially the ones who are so vital for the team's win in the championship.
That makes sense.

They would have to do for the best for the team and if that has to let go of some of their players that have been with them and helped to win the title, there's no hard feelings on it.

Yeah, it's a business after all, all the franchises and teams that are in there. They're all doing the same thing and even in other teams, they have their superstars needed to trade for some players just to shuffle and make their roster look better.

Yes and throughout the NBA's history, there are a lot of sex scandals, involving the players themselves. Who will forget about Kobe's infamous case here? and I think it causes him his Adidas or Nike contract. Nevertheless, he continue to play and become a legend.

It's just the times though, I'm also not updated on the rules whether written or not about coaches and their affairs. I guess the sticking point is that he is married, which make it worst and Boston franchise are not going to tolerate it.

They made the right action already, it's only a suspension but I'm pretty sure he will not return anymore because he knows he made a serious offense. he is a great coach, so he can still find a team to play with but in a different league.

There is no announcement about it, but we already have a hint that he will not be returning to the Celtics. It is just a waste that his career with the Celtics will end this way. He started his first year very strong getting the team into the Finals and was just two wins away from getting the ring.

Excited to see that too. I did not see him for a long time but I hope he is more fit right now with the restriction on his weight already on his contract. Hopefully he will not get injured this season so we can see his full potential.

I am also excited for Kawhi, he did not play the whole season last season. And with the Clippers now have John Wall, I am excited to see the new dynamics in that team.
