I agree, Kyrie and KD could be gone tomorrow, or they will not be gone at all, and we do not have any idea until it happens. I still think that fully healthy Nets for a whole year could end up being great. Last year, at the start of the season the talks were about Lakers vs Nets finals, with harden instead of Simmons obviously, we all saw the result of that.

Harden has left, Simmons is injured, Kyrie and vaccination etc etc all destroyed Nets, and Lakers having one of the worst years of both AD and Westbrook together caused them to be terrible too. So I am not expecting the thing this year, it is going to be a revenge year for Lakers, and Nets could stay healthy and be a lot better if they stay together.
Well... reading this post came to my mind... could the Nets be different this season and could they become a strong and competitive team to beat the Warriors!!? (or another team???).

I mean if both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant reverse their requests to be traded away from Brooklyn, I could see this team being very good with another year under their belts as well as having time to gel with Ben Simmons. But whether they can beat the Warriors or not I’m not too sure. I think if they all play to their fullest abilities and stay healthy, they could..Durant is a top 3 player on the planet and Kyrie is top 10..so that should be enough for them to compete with anyone.

I don’t know if that’s going to happen. I suspected they would return and the Nets would go on like the trade requests never happened. However, I just read an article that claimed Durant said that he would rather retire then play another game for the Nets. I guess we’ll see soon enough. With only a couple months left until Durant is expected to suit up, we could have another Ben Simmons situation on our hands.

Kevin Durant already cleared the issue and he said that it wasn't true at all and he even don't know why the people keeps on believing a non-reputable sites about his situation and keeps on making story rather than sticking to the facts. So that said, I guess it wasn't really at all, I mean he is not that dumb enough to retire rather than play for the Nets this coming season because that would really mean that his career would be over and he will be remembered as a great player but a big headed. Surely he doesn't want that.

Ya, I saw the tweet he made where he was calling that rumor BS.  That was the first time I saw KD suggesting that he may return to the Nets this upcoming season.  With no movement on Kyrie and Ben Simmons being a total mystery, it's starting to look like the Nets may have a big 3 come the start of the season.  I do like that Vegas bumped up the odds for Phoenix to get KD, making Phoenix and Boston tied for likely destinations for Durant.  I think it would be a horrible move for either team to trade for him as far as their future goes, but it would be one hell of an exciting season for whoever gets him.

After seeing Durant and Tatum training together news sources started new rumours about Durant. He is said that he can join Boston Celtics in the summer. However they have Jaylen Brown and his performance in the previous season was really nice. I don't know if they would like to make a change there. The current roster played in the finale in the end. They may not want to change their best players.

Well in the beginning it was Jaylen Brown and other players plus several future drafts. But then we heard another rumors that Nets wanted to add Tatum too. And if that is the case then how can the two play together in Boston? Unless they would agree on the first  negotiations but the sticking point is how many future draft picks are the Celtics willing to give up. And if I remember it correctly, they were asking like 4 or 5 future picks, so I think that is too much for Boston to gamble.

Too much for an injury prone star, I mean even Durant still one of those good offensive player on this league but asking for 4 or 5 future picks plus

one of your main gunners, not sure if Boston is willing to gamble for that just to have Durant in their lineup. Maybe there are still negotiations and

alternative offer that Boston can bring in the table to convince Nets to bring Durant to their squad.

Well, with the amount of money he is making now, I think he can already live a good life that is financially free. He just has to learn how to invest like other NBA players because he cannot play all the time and he will age overt ime, but then again, if he gets a max contract, that would help him more.
That's real. The problem comes when retirement is near. Just being 38,39, or 40 years old in most cases without any knowledge of anything except basketball. Either you become part of the coaching staff or you use all the funds you made for investing in teams like what Michael Jordan did.
I understand that but sometimes they tend to get greedy. Maybe I just don't like how he throws the contract thing out in the public, there must be a peaceful way to do that with the management.

While the other fans are teasing each other, their idols are having fun and just fun! They're friends in real life but there are also the others that are not friends and it's just all about the career that they have.
I am part of that who thinks Lebron and Draymond were not on good terms. Now it's all clear. It's all just their competitive side when the whistle sounds.

Same here, if I would choose, I like Bradley Beal as he is more clutch compared to Mitchelle who is also a superstar. If a Jazz - Wizards trade would happen, I guess that's more fair as both teams will received a new superstar, and I believe that with Beal, Jazz will improve.

There is no way to trade Bradley Beal to the Jazz or any other team since he signed the maximum five-year contract with the Wizards with a true no-trade clause, and it's literally been a month and a half since he signed that contract. So even if the Wizards' management really wants to get Donovan Mitchell, then any other players will be involved in that trade except Beal.

Mitchel was really pissed off when they were losing in the playoffs and it seems like he doesn't really fit with the team and he has the chance to continue his journey on the other team with new teammates. If he can find himself traded to the Wizards that would be a nice new beginning for him. he can really do something new where he will have the chance to prove everyone that he can actually make it to the NBA playoffs no matter where he is or if he is lucky enough, he can have some good team mates out there as well to help him win a championship. Anything can happen in this league, as long as you are playing like superstars, your chance is also higher than the others.
I think he fits well with the Jazz, the problem is that they choke in the playoffs. They are a good regular season team, but come playoff time, they seems to be off and the focus is not there and collapse in close game. But if you look at the team, they are so deep that you wonder what could have been the case of them not succeeding in playoffs. Could be the coach? or the players themselves? But now it seems that they are going to reset if Mitchell gets traded.

Speaking of trades, there seems to be a renewed interest on Donovan Mitchell from the Hornets and the Wizards.

It's going to be interesting to hear as well what will be the package that both teams are offering Utah in exchange of Mitchell.

Backcourt of Beal/Mitchell? or Ball/Mitchell? which make sense?

This was reported by:

I'll go with Beal-Mitchell. Bradley Beal is more experienced than LaMelo Ball. However, Charlotte Hornets seem more eager to spend money than Washington Wizards. But we will see what will happen. I'll be glad for Mitchell to get traded than stay in a rebuilding team. New York Knicks is still interested in Mitchell and they also have very promising young players.

Actually we did saw Beal and Westbrook, and I would say it was a successful tandem. However, we all know that Russ decided to go to the Lakers. And I will agree that Beal and Mitchell will be a good tandem as well. Beal again, has the experience working with other Stars so it wouldn't take the time to readjust if ever they will acquire Mitchell. But we will have to see, a lot of trades from behind seems to be  the trend now.

Congratulations to Dray, how old he is again before he marries, 32? and is this the first time for him to get into marriage?

Anyway, this is just pure fun to see all of them in one frame.
Yes and yes but he had a 10-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Jelissa Hardy, they have 2 kids.
This will be a memory that will keep them close to each other. Soon, they will all retire and reminisce while looking at these photos.
Right.

Well, still good for Dray and surely have found the girl that he marries.

But if he fails to prove that he's really good addition to each team where he goes maybe he might became a journey man which continue to jump on different teams and lose his value. But its still good to try to find better team for him knowing that Utah is not aiming to win a championship next season so its really bad for him to stay because he's stats might really get affected when their organization doesn't have plan to win.

It's trending to switch teams and find your way to win a title, same with how LeBron and KD did before, both transferred to different teams

to own a ring. If Mitchell wanted to win one, he needs to explore all the opportunities. If he can be traded to a championship caliber team

that might give him a better chance to win a ring. For now, he needs to pick the best team that have better chance to move further in

reaching the finals.

There's no more excuse for them as they have the big 3 now.

Durant
Irving
Simmons.

This big 3 is strong enough to bring this team into the championship, the only problem is their chemistry and the two superstars passion to play as they have asked to be traded, hopefully that will not affect their performance in the season to come.

More like big 3 headaches for the organization to me Cheesy

I'm expecting that they will play their best and bring the Nets to the finals. They cannot keep that drama forever, their future will be affected and I'm sure they understand that as although they are no anymore young, their value is still high. They just have to had an impressive season, teams will be making ways to make that trade possible.

Looks like the post above you is telling the truth more about headaches than combining their skills.

All 3 have their own dramas and that will really affect how the team will play this upcoming season. The names are great, but
the kind of situation is something that we can not predict.

But if in somehow they will manage to build and blend a good chemistry, we really can't predict how far the success they
may bring to the franchise.

A lot of basketball fans around the world reacted to this photo wherein Brooklyn superstar KD played with Boston's main man Jayson Tatum. It seems that there is still a secret ongoing trade deal and maybe they are testing the 2 superstars' chemistry. Jaylen Brown fans aren't happy seeing this. But for me, a Brown believer ever since, I don't care if he will be traded in Brooklyn. Brooklyn is a rich team and if Jaylen will play there then there is a big possibility that he will become their main guy unlike in Boston. Kyrie is not young anymore with an attitude and bad shooter Ben Simmons got an attitude too.
I have read about this too somewhere on Twitter but I think the meeting was just for training exercises/working out which is normal for players, especially in summer.
Kobe also worked out with Tatum before but Kobe didn't become a Celtic or Tatum didn't become a Lakers.
This is nothing unless the management of the Brooklyn Nets is really trying to trade KD. They are not. The offers given were "okay" but the counters they threw is impossible for the other end to deal with.

I think they're probably capable of taking the Nets to the finals, but I don't think it'll happen.  Kyrie is already saying he'll only play 60 games.  Durant is trying like hell to get out and who knows what's going on with Simmons, he won't talk to anyone.  They'll almost certainly be the most dysfunctional team in the NBA.  Phoenix seems to be making another push to try and get Durant, although I don't know what they have to offer.  Kyrie to me seems trapped in a bad place and likely to have more drama...  Ben is a wildcard.  I'm looking forward to their first game in a couple months though.  I hope they stick together long enough to get a look at what they could have been.
