They Nuggets made it! They survived getting swept in the 1st round of playoffs, the standing is now 3-1 in favor of the Warriors ofcourse.

They owned the first half and had a good run giving the Warriors a hard time that's why they just managed to recover in the 3rd quarter but it's too late for them because Jokic is already on beast mode contributing 37 points while grabbing 8 rebounds with the help of Morris and Gordon who also made 20+ points. I'm saying that they have learned to adjust in the playoffs but it is still to soon to conclude it as they are still in a dangerous spot. 1 more defeat and they will be eliminated.
But I don't see the Warriors playing hard like Games 1 to 3. It's almost like they are resting at every attack the Nuggets make. It's not an error, they are just not on the same energy level as before but I think they will pour it all at their homecourt and get it done.
The Nuggets on the other hand should expect that. If they still want to continue the fight then they better be as explosive as they are here in Game 4.
I may try to bet for them if the handicap is fair.

If they will be consistent like this and will be remain healthy throughout the whole conference then yes they can even go up to the Finals, I'm not going to doubt their talents because they have proved it already even to the end of regular season until now. Not gonna lie Tatum have stepped up and I think there's more he can give than that, from being a pure offensive player now turns also turns into a defensive player.

If this will be a sweep then they will be facing against the defending champion in the next round, the Milwaukee Bucks.

I think it's too early to say that the Celtics will be able to reach the final series. To be honest, I'm also surprised they could stop Durant and Irving so easily. However, I doubt they can stop Giannis and his teammates in the second round of the playoffs as easily. Even if they can somehow beat the Bucks, they'll most likely play either against the Heat or the 76ers in the Eastern Conference finals. Both teams can be insurmountable opponents for the Celtics.

Boston is doing everything, if in case they managed to complete this series, the next one will be very tough.

Bucks also have deeper squad and as a defending champ, they still have that solid core who already have good chemistry playing
together, we are still in the first round and discussing the finals is still far to conclude. But I agree that the chance is always
possible for Tatum and the rest of Boston.

Let's see if the Pels could hold on, though they are leading but the Suns are not going anywhere. They have their weapons but the good thing about this game is that CP3 is very limited, he is not even in double digit yet, so I like the Pelicans chances to win here.
I also imagined that possibility!
CP3 is playing badly, and the worst case scenario... is... he's not injured!

But one thing that caught my attention (and that also collaborates), is the performance in the most of the Pelicans players, some players is playing extremely well, and this also automatically causes a bad performance of most of Sun's players... including CP3
Frustrations. Before, CP3 can handle it but when the guys are being caught by it their performance starts to go down. It fuels their other problem, being Booker-less. They will adjust, that's for sure and the Suns becomes a better team whenever they are cornered. Cam Johnson and Bridges will be their key. These two used to attack the paint during season, but that was gone when the playoffs started. If there will be players penetrating the paint, more space will be produced for a better outside shot.

The Suns are now in a bit of trouble because Pelicans are slowly picking up the pace and already have a momentum, especially now that Booker might be out for this entire series after It was reported that he might be out for 2-3 weeks for a hamstring injury.
My prediction would be, whoever wins game 5 will definitely win the series, even If this match will settle in the game 7.
Pelicans now have a higher chance.
Suns are a great team since last year, but can they get the championship this year?

I didn't think the Boston Celtics could beat their opponent so easily, Brooklyn Nets can't do anything. Jayson Tatum played amazing and scored 39 points and played a big part in beating his opponents.
Not only is it possible to win matches with Durant and Kyrie, the rest of the team is playing pretty poorly. So it was a match that was going to end fast Smiley

This is a break out year for Tatum, he now becomes a superstar in his own right. You can see that he improves at every department, specially his defense and passing ability. See how he locks down Durant in this series. Kyrie and Durant non-existent in the last 3 games. So as Jalen Rose says, bring the "walis-walis", lol, because it's gong to be a sweep.

I admit, Jayson Tatum's recent performance was really impressive not because he can shoot and contribute big numbers but because he was able to stop the KD who have been known to shoot even if it's almost impossible and KD that we know who always carry the ball especially in critical times. Tatum was indeed holding the fate of KD in his hands and if you saw saw KD's face, he is really pissed because he cannot make some good shots because he is guarded well. Yes, this might be a sweep! Cool
The Nets fans are very disappointed on what is happening with them for sure.
Many are predicting that the Nets are winning this in 7 games including me. Most predicted that this will end in 6-7 games but now we might see the Nets getting swept in 4 games.

Include also the fact that Simmons isn't playing in Game 4 which is very disappointing as well. They are saying that he will play but he will not. In the Philly-Brooklyn trade, many said that the Brooklyn won the trade because on how good Simmons is defensively but now we can't see him playing in the court even for only 10-15 minutes. Like WTF!!!. They paid you to play and you will not play. Injuries? Nahhh it isn't the injuries anymore I think. He doesn't really want to play because on what happened to him in Philly.

Tatum really stepped up this playoffs offensively and defensively which is very impressive. If they will pass the Bucks next round, I will pick them as my NBA champion Smiley.

Bulls cannot win the series anymore.

I also do believe that Bulls won't win the next game either as this was the best change they had to take the lead of series and they failed. Bucks is clearly a better team who knows how to deal with important play-off games when Bulls rarely played in play-offs in the last years so this is another big factor that will make Bucks take the series.
Many have already said it already even before the playoffs has started.
And knowing that their first opponent this playoffs are the defending champions, they surely will lose this first round for sure.

From a career playoff high 41 pts in 16/31 shooting to now 11 points only with 4/9 shooting. That was a huge difference and it just shows how the Bucks can adjust quickly and be effective on it. Giannis didn't dominate and scored that much like what it used to be but all has contributed offensively with 5 players in double digits. If the Bulls will not adjust in Game 4, they might get eliminated in 5 games for some obvious reasons.

I know , but some of us dreamed and hoped until the end. Anyway, it's good for Bulls that they have a team who could stand and face the NBA champs as not a lot of teams can say that right now.

Regarding last night, I think Celtics is having a super solid team with a very smart coach that knows his players and their talents very well. Nets ...simply awful , having only 3 important players who could really play the ball and score points. I'm afraid the dream of a super team in Brooklyn is about to be over after this year Sad.

I also think that the Celtics can go on the finals in the East, they can even defeat the Bucks in they are going to face in the finals, in my opinion.

They are a solid team and seems to be not a weakest link. Defense is solid an they have Tatum now who is one of the best players in the league right now. Just sad that Durant leaves the Warrior formed his own super team but can't even reach the finals.

If they will be consistent like this and will be remain healthy throughout the whole conference then yes they can even go up to the Finals, I'm not going to doubt their talents because they have proved it already even to the end of regular season until now. Nice Denver Nuggets. Unfortunately, I'm unable to place a bet for them as I'm sure they won't allow being swept by the Golden State Warriors. Nikola Jokic just does his usual thing and some guys there also adjust like Aaron Gordon and Monte Morris.

If only Nikola Jokic's teammates are consistent, they might have a close game series. It's hard to defeat the Golden State Warriors when both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson scored 30+ points but still, Denver Nuggets got the win.

They also cover the spread of +4.5 so congrats to those bettors who placed their bet.

This is what I’m thinking too but I hesitate to bet since GSW is on fire during there first 3 games against Nuggets. I’m just surprised to that Jordan Poole only made 11pts with 39mins play time in the game. It’s very rare to him to perform like this which maybe the reason for GSW lose today. II just want to commend. Aaron Gordon game since he made a lot of improvement to help Jokic carry Nuggets on this series.

Yes, it was a combination of Poole having a bad night maybe because of the good defense and then Gordon making a good contribution because he has a poor performance in the last 3 game and he has to come back and help Jokic.

At least there will be no sweep for Jokic, but I doubt that they can comeback and win against the Warriors, this is just a blip and Nuggets takes advantage of it.

If Pelicans will win tonight, I would believe that they have a high chance of upsetting the Suns. They are not an easy team to beat, no only Ingram is scoring for them but other starters are involving themselves as well, and Jonas is such a great addition to them as he is more efficient in the playoffs.

Currently Jonas has 8 rebounds and 11 points, and we are only in the 3rd quarter.
I tell you, this is an exciting series, I see a game 7 here.

Milwaukee Bucks even didn't feel the absence of Khris Middleton. Even before those 2 games without him, I don't understand why others take that as a big deal to the point that thinking the Bucks will have a slim chance to pass the first round. Chicago Bulls are really impressive this season but they have the worst record taking against the top teams.

Milwaukee Bucks are also well-experienced in playoffs and there are several times they played in a sudden-death match since then.

It was one of their big foundations why they are hard to deal with, especially in a series match. Better luck next season, Chicago Bulls.

Yeah, Bucks is more experienced than the newly formed squad of Bulls. They have a solid foundation

in terms of a system that needed to win a game, I like how you focus on that part that this team already managed to win
on a sudden do-or-die game and they win it from a much heavier squad last season, Bulls is really having a hard time
after that adjustment in game 3, they can't find the right blend to match up with Middleton-less Bucks.

I guess Bulls were already successful this season, they can improve next season by learning from their experience, and I hope that they'll be healthier. The current line up already reach the playoffs but I think they need to work harder for them to become a championship team, probably inserting some all star in the line up would help a bit.

Patiently waiting for Heat - Hawks game as that game promise better things tonight. Milwaukee won comfortably and they are closer to finish the series.
It was a crazy fourth quarter. I thought GSW would steal the game when they took the lead after Curry knocked down a three with just over a minute left but the Nuggets responded well. Maybe we should also creadit Wiggins for missing a put back slam from Thompson's missed three hehe. That could have change the outcome of the game.

Same here. I was ready to say the game was over and then all the sudden it seemed like the Warriors were going to win. A shame they took the loss but it was a close game and they’ll have another shot to get into round 2 soon enough. They had been playing the best basketball of anyone in the postseason so far I thought, so it’s a little sad they lost, but like I said, it was a close game and it could have gone either way. I don’t think this is too much of a setback for them. I’m sure they’ll bounce back and win the next one.

Chicago Bulls are doing whatever they can against Milwaukee Bucks in the series but it is still too difficult for them to win the series at the same time. Because Bucks are performing great as usual and they have a really good team play also. And of course, there is a big Giannis factor for Bucks too. In his last game, he was awesome again by 32 points and 17 rebounds. Bucks are in the lead by 3-1 and they are likely to finish their job by 4-1 by winning their next game in around three days.
