He is not a type of player who can do that kind of damage consistently. I will go for Tatum as he is more dedicated compared to Schoder.

Yes, he contributes good numbers from this OT game against Bucks, but I doubt he will continue making that same game from time to time
let us say it's time for him to bring his value and try to have another chance for a much bigger contract.

If Boston sees him as a valuable asset, who knows maybe they will offer him, but it can't be concluded just by playing big in one game, right?
Of course, one great performance doesn't mean anything, although it's worth noting that Schroder has scored 20 or more points in the last three games. I guess he will have a good chance to get a huge contract if he continues to play at the same level throughout the season and helps the Celtics reach the playoffs.

I agree, but the good thing is that he is he back as a part of a core team, similar to what he did with the Lakers. He became the main point guard, but the Celtics needed more from Dennis this tournament and hopefully this game is just the beginning for him to really improved and be 'consistent' because that's why the Celtics lacks specially in play-offs. Let Tatum take over the team, but at least Dennis will be there to provide some help day in day out.

Spurs are probably in a rebuilding process and I think coach Pop will also retire soon as he is the oldest active coach in the NBA now if I'm not mistaken.

he is now 72 years, old enough to enjoy his retirement as he already achieved a lot being a coach of the Spurs for a very long time, for sure the NBA will recognize him as a hall of famer.

The Spurs is one of my favorite teams in the NBA but they have been struggling in the past seasons, so they really need a new all-star player to lead the team as DeRozan failed to do his job with the Spurs.
They really do not need a superstar to be a great team. The culture there is to keep the ball moving, if you are keeping the ball moving then you are not going to have a superstar with the ball for too long. Doesn't matter if you are Tim Duncan or Manu or Tony or Kawhi, if you have the ball and not scoring at that moment then you either dribble and pass, or you just pass, you need to not hold the ball too long.

Superstars like to keep the ball and score, no matter how awesome they are, Steph or Lebron wouldn't shine in this method for example, they are so good that you would still want them but change your system to fit them to be fair. Now that they have equally great many young prospects, they simply need to focus on building that "beautiful game" back again.

I think I would disagree with you, even Curry moves the ball well but he is just getting open most of the time because of the good play design by the team. For Lebron, then I might agree that he gets the ball most of the time, but he also adjust his game when he becomes a PG which directs the play in the floor, and if you notice he could make a double with points and assists, that's because he moves the ball well.

Dennis Schröder finally had a game that he proved he is worthy of a big contract.

He led the Boston Celtics in an overtime win by contributing    38 points, I guess this is his best game so far this season.
With this contribution, I think the Celtics will find a way to give Schröder more touches on the ball.
I doubt that. It will still be Jayson Tatum who will handle their offense. Let's just say it's Schroeder's day.
In fact, he does this inconsistently so there is no way the Celtics will trust their offense on him. It's just the same as his Lakers and OKC time. He shines sometimes but then the next day he will be in the shadows again.
The face of the team will always be Tatum and they are building him just like how Kobe was built in his Lakers years.

He must be pretty pumped right now and confident he could score against anyone. Not a bad idea to take advantage of his current form.

GSW will be the champion this season. I've seen enough, I'm convinced 100%
Odds probably dropped for GSW winning the title after a great start. Will you place bet on they once they have a losing streak? You'll most likely get better numbers when that time comes. Good luck.

It's good to see though that Dennis has a break out game with the Celtics, he just need to be consistent though and really contribute whether he is the 3rd or 4th options in the team.

And if he remains consistent this season, maybe we can finally see a good salary that he is asking when he was still with the Lakers last year.

yes, but that's just one game, he needs to be consistent so he will be renewed and will have a chance for a bigger contract.
I'm not sure if the Celtics had already max their salary cap, but if they want to increase Schröder, maybe trading Brown would be a good option.
Celtics are not thinking of trading Jalen Brown yet, but if he is not playing based on the expectation and Dennis Schröder will continue to be consistent, then that could potentially happen.

Just to refresh how much Schröder gets playing with the Celtics.

Anyways, Curry is the real MVP and GSW will be the champion this season. I've seen enough, I'm convinced 100%

He is and he is currently leading the MVP race now in the betting sites, so most likely he will win this season and that's not expected at all, I mean he is not even in the top 3.

yes, together with Tatum and that win really help Schröder as his effort would be useless if they lose.

I suppose that the biggest game of the night was Golden State Warriors v Chicago Bulls. GSW are the team that have started in the best way to the season among all teams. They lost only once before this game in 10 games. And Bulls also started in a very solid way after renovating their roster. To be honest, I was expecting a quite competitive game here. But it turned out that GSW gained a quite comfortable victory by a 26-point difference (119-93). And Stephen Curry was at another level again by scoring 40 points. He continues to carry his team to victories.

Warriors have proven that they are the real deal.

The Bulls are a good but they are definitely still building in my opinion. Despite their record in the East, they will not be able to make the ECF with the current standard of play.

They need a third star alongside Lavine and Derozan who can take more 3 pointers. Vucevic being out doesn't help.

^^ It is living up to the expectations right now, the game is very close.

Bulls takes the lead early, but GSW comes back, now the score is 41-40 for GSW. But the Warriors are missing a lot of shot specially 3 point shot.

Curry though is still in the bench, but let's see who the game will turn out to be.
GSW now in a big lead at the third quarter. A big turnaround when Steph Curry acquires his hot hands.
Bulls having a difficult time to see the plays made by Steve Kerr, I just wish they reviewed some clips about it or this game will be over if no one will figure out how to stop it.

Yeah, another big game for Steph and the Golden State Warriors.

They've almost score 40 points again in the 3rd quarter, I like Payton Jr play though, he has his father's quick hands, not sure how many steal he got but I count at least 2.

Bulls has no answer, they are just playing horrendously. Not sure if they can even score 100 points in this game.
I want to say that the 3rd quarter dominance of the Warriors lead them to victory but it seems like they've outscored Bulls since the 2nd quarter already.

If you will see the Box Score at the official website of the NBA, you will see that all of the Warriors' players have contribution to the team either offensively (points and assists) or defensively (steals and blocks). All of them played to this game as well maybe because they got a huge lead at the 3rd quarter already. Still this just shows that the Warriors are very unpredictable because you don't know who will be their go-to guy that will shoot and shoot. Curry is always their go-to guy but a second shooter or a 3rd shooter that will help the team score if he is on the bench.

GP2 is a great addition to the team. His athleticism and his defensive skills makes the Warriors better defensively. Add also his highlight dunks (at least one per game). The Warriors are lucky to have him.

Another big turnaround game is the OKC against the Kings. Up by 18 points in third quarter and suddenly OKC took it all back after a 12-2 run.
4th losing streak for the Kings while OKC now at 4th winning streak.

Warriors are going to host the red-hot Chicago Bulls.

What do you think about this game, will the Bulls finally give the streaking GSW a real challenge and beat them on their home court?

No Vucevic for the Bulls but they have DeRozan and Lavine.
Good test for both teams but Warriors D will shut down those duo even if you include Ball who is also playing well.

I honestly like their defense, and I like the Warriors having a lot of options now.

Curry is great, he is the greatest shooter in the NBA for me but this season, we've also seen how Poole has improved and is able to put some big numbers for his team. Draymond Green will always be a defensive specialist, now that Bulls missed their center maybe that would give the Warriors an advantage inside or at least a fair match.

What I see here is the Warriors ability to shoot consistent 3 point shots that will make the Bulls suffer, but that is still depending on how they play their defense, if they can minimize the Warriors' shooters, then we will probably see a good game by the Bulls.

What we see on their last game might not happen with the bulls but honestly I like their current run this season and looks like they are so consistent on their wins but the problem right now is Bulls is also a well compose team so we cannot expect that they can easily beat them as there are so many shooters and well defender added on the line up of bulls. So what provably we can see here is a good match up to see.

Bulls vs Warriors is a good match not gonna lie, well defenders you say? Bulls are actually struggling in terms of defense as they are more of an offensive stance to me, Warriors on the other hand is well-balanced, GPII is a great defender and if you watch their games, they have pretty good defense since Stever Kerr is the mastermind behind it, Bulls on the other hand cannot be stopped offensively.

I swear that this game will be loaded with 3-pointers from both teams, Lonzo Ball is hot right now and so as Steph with his 50-pt performance last game. I'm going for Warriors on this one.
