They are definately in the top tier.  I was definately on the side that Zach lavine can't make it in the NBA early in his career.  I just thought he was an athletic dunker.  Dude has serious game and I got crazy respect for him.  He can wreck games. He is definately a 1.  And with ball derozen, big man who can stretch the floor and decent bodies off the bench it's not gonna fizzle.  They were never picked to be 1/2 in the East.  They will compete for 1/2 all year and probably slide into the 3-6 seeds in the division which is nothing to scoff at.
Right. He is on a different level now thanks to the Bulls management doing the trades to surround him with good players.
I think just the addition of Lonzo Ball is already a big impact for him. He never had a good pointguard to back him up and preserve his strength for other purposes before but instead, he was always exhausted doing it all. Now, he can focus on his shooting and maybe some attack to the rim and moving without the ball and aggressive offensively.
The 3rd-6th seed will definitely be an easy task for them.

It's a blowout win for the GSW against the Nets where they managed to stretch up the lead until the late minutes of the 4th quarter. As days pass by, we will see more on the GSW as one of their best players "Klay Thompson" is about to enter the court to play again a few weeks from now. Looks like they will be back to dominate the entire league once again by beating these best teams in the NBA.

Warriors vs Nets at halftime, It's been a really interesting game. Warriors are up by 5 points, both teams have done pretty well defensively but the scoreboard probably doesn't suggest that, however, to be honest the scoreboard is just a reflection of how good both teams can be on the break and get the bucket from beyond the arc. There were just 14 points or thereabout combined in almost the first 6 minutes of the 2nd Quarter, but the Quarter ended with 56.

Warriors build a 20+ lead in the 3rd, they are really a team that really blows their opponent on the 3rd and learn how to protect that lead.

Durant has been checked so far and there's no help except for Harden. And the Warriors are doing this really playing good defense and the crowd are stunned.

So let's see how the Nets are going to respond in the next 12 minutes of the game in the 4th. Otherwise, it will all be Warriors and going back to their winning ways again.

The Bulls definitely had the best offseason of any team in the NBA.  I really like the young talent they have and Derozan has been playing better than I can remember him ever playing...  I think they're right up there with the Bucks as a second tier eastern team behind the Nets.

Hate to spoil the party but I do think that eventually this will fizzle out.

They are lights out right now everywhere but eventually the high shooting clip will come to an end and DeRozan's inefficiencies will show again.

For now, they are definitely the most fun team to watch in the NBA. There is no debate about that.

He has so much confidence now, specially his outside shooting.

I will have to prefer him to really just be an offensive weapon throughout his career as compare to be known as just a slam dunk champion and a good dunker.

DeRozan is also feeling it right now, in the last two games he big specially in this game. Definitely, they are playoff bound for this year. But we will see how will they do, if they can advance or not as they lack the experience.

I agree, they should give THT more time on the floor, the kid has so much talent that the Lakers needs to take advantage of him. AD though was check, he can't even get the ball when the Bulls play small, he should post more, but the defence of the Bulls is ready against him.
THT played 37 minutes, and I think the Lakers will definitely use him more in upcoming matches, considering his performance. By the way, it seems to me that coach Vogel is still trying to find the optimal starting lineup while LeBron is injured. Although there are already rumors that Lebron probably might be able to play against the Celtics on Friday.

I'm excited with the Nets welcoming the Warriors since both teams looked to be in good form compared to their previous meetings. KD and Steph are both in the MVP discussion this season too with their impressive performances so far. Over 210 is probably a safe bet on this game but the odds is just too low hehe. GSW at 2+ looks like a better deal.

....

anyway, Mavs just took the lead right away at the start of the 4th quarter.
It was a strange decision for Jason Kidd to start with a small-ball line up in the fourth but it still paid off for them. Nuggets players couldn't keep up with the pace set by the quicker and smaller Mavs.

Big win for the Knicks last night.  This had their d ready to go.  Turned in a 4th quarter only letting the Pacers drop 10 points on them being 2-18 from the field.  That's how this knicks team is going to win.  They tried to run and gun with teams and get dogged in one of the quarters which kills the game.  Would be happy if they can progress and just win a series this year.  Long year ahead and the East is looking as tough as ever.

I get that people are crazy about the Bulls start because it came out nowhere at all, but we should also remember that last year Warriors finished the season with 39-33 and now they are going 11-2 which is a great start. Those are the two that I would not be sure about which one is better, bucks start is not impressive at all, unless you mean the otherwise because it definitely looks shocking to see last champions doing so badly.

Bulls looking good and I am not denying that but Warriors moved from 9th on west to becoming a championship level team, that difference is huge and to consider that Klay will be added to this makes it even more impressive.

As a Bulls fan I can tell you this much, we have an exciting team with several legit scorers now, namely with DeRozan who's been unreal and playing at an all-star level, but I don't think any of us here in Chicago have any delusions of them being a Championship team.  The Warriors on the other hand who've gotten off to this great start without the second best shooter in the game in Klay Thompson, are legit.  Not sure if championship legit but a better shot than the bulls have.

All eyes on the Warriors vs Nets game tonight though.  There is also a giveaway going on for this game on Twitter where you can guess the final score and the closest wins a free NFT.  Not a bad way to get your foot in the NFT door.  Smiley

Looking at tomorrow’s games I see that the Warriors are facing off against the Nets on TNT. I’m going to have to watch that one. A shame that they’ll be missing a little bit of star power with no Klay yet and Kyrie still not having figured out how to get back on the court. Says something about both teams that they’re still full of all stars.

Yeah if both Kyrie and Klay were playing, now that would be some serious fun and fire power.  It sucks playing against these teams when they aren't in full capacity.  Like my Bulls playing the Lakers last night..it was nice and all to see them blow them out, but of course they were missing Lebron and the Bulls were missing Vucevic, so it really wasn't a "real" game.  Regardless, the Nets Warriors is one too watch and will def be watching as well.

I was about to say the battle of the top seeds East and West but upon looking at the standings, Washington Wizards is the one on the top for the East.  Shocked
Shocked? Yeah, me too.
Very shocked, but at the same time, I'm happy that they traded Westbrook and now the Lakers are taking the struggle because they trade 3 of their players just for Westbrook. Bad decision by the Lakers and Wizards benefited from that.

That game against the Pelicans Beal did not play, no beal but no problem at all.

Golden State Warriors versus the Brooklyn Nets later. Oh yes, this will be one hell of a fun game. I may try to just take a bet for scoring above 220 or more. Team bets will be difficult to predict although I may be slight on the side of GSW here when those youngsters find their rhythm and speed up the game.
Durant and Curry which are the top MVP candidate this season will face, I guess I'm going with the Warriors here because I love to play the underdog.

Steph is definitely on the top spot right now but the season is still young while Jimmy Buckets on the 2nd spot alongside, if Steph can get another MVP this season then he'll be making a historic season once again for the dubs, lots of talented players right now and their enemies are the young guys like Ja, Luka, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards, this season is stacked with talent which makes every team entertaining to watch.

Brooklyn Nets slight favorite as per odds, ML. Joe Harris is also reported to be not playing in this game, although Durant has some shoulder pain, he will play in this game.

Perhaps the odds shift to Nets because they are in a winning streak and they are going to play in their homecourt and obviously, Golden State winning streak was stop by the Hornets last game. For sure this will be a good game to watch.

That Bulls vs Lakers game looked like one hell of a game. Lonzo shot the lights out with one of his best games and Derozan was unstoppable. The Lakers again looked average and just couldn’t compete with the Bulls shooting as everything was going in for them. Nice to see a moment between LeBron and Caruso, but Lakers fans definitely are ready to see the King back on the floor.
Alex Caruso tribute. I thought he is going to cry while watching all his highlights on the big screen. He didn't but the Lakers fans appreciated him with a long round of applause. He is a champion, there is no doubt and he ain't stopping just yet.
We know the style of Lebron. Whenever his team has a bad performance last season, they will reshuffle and trade other players and it doesn't matter if you won a champ or not. If you didn't perform well last season then you're out.

The Laker fans appreciated how Caruso entertained them and he will not be called "Caru-show" for nothing. Its an appreciation for the fans that he is in the building again and its always good to see fans that are appreciating you when you come back. What I don't like though is those fans who are chanting "BOO" to some players who they've hated. I still remember Kawhi being boo'ed at the Spurs building when he joined the Raptors Cheesy.

Well, AC is better now in Chicago and they are 2nd in the Eastern Conference tied with the Nets with 10-3. I'm a bit surprised seeing Wizards at the top though and the defending champs Bucks who didn't have that much trades this off-season are in the 11th.
