Clarkson has always been a natural scorer.

It's just that he is very inconsistent, he could be the hottest man on the planet on one night and then completely disappear the next. If he was more consistent, he is a franchise talent for sure.

But the Heat are very impressive indeed. Good comeback after tough losses to Lakers and Clippers.
That's just how it goes especially when Tyler Herro on his lucky day where he made some crucial free throws to further stretch the lead in the last seconds of the 4th quarter. Utah Jazz has been known for their rally in the 4th quarter but today is not counted since they run out of time as well. Well! no Jimmy no problem for the Miami Heat and I think they are fast to adopt when he is not around since the other players can take his role easily.

Yes @yazher !! Herro is an excellent player and has a promising future ahead of him.
Even though he is in some confusion regarding his temperament, I believe he will become more experienced and his performance will improve in the future!

So @hello_good_sir, I know he's been playing well in Jazz lately, I was reminded of his time in Cleveland, and in my humble opinion he wasn't an important player for the Cavs.
Probably in the future, Clarkson will improve, and we can already see that in his performance this NBA season.

Not a very exciting day for NBA basketball. No nationally televised games and the only decent matchup of the day seems to be the Miami Heat vs the Utah Jazz. Miami has been playing pretty well so I’m not sure about them being 8 point underdogs, but the Jazz are on a mission this year. I think given their struggles over the last couple years this might be the last chance they have to go for it all with both Gobert and Mitchell on the roster.
Yes, I also agree with that!

I'm surprised, at this moment, Heat has about 20 points of advantage!

Herro, Lowry and Robinson are playing really well! But on the other hand I'm surprised with Clarkson's performance with over 20 points!!

I think the addition of Lowry is really a big plus for the Heat because he has so much experience that he can become the leader in the absence of Butler tonight.

And when you have a good game with those two shooters, Herro and Duncan Robinson, it's hard to defeat Miami.

Although there were scary moments wherein the Jazz try to close the gap, but their effect was too late as Miami's lead is too much to recover.

It was great seeing Steph Curry become the all time leader in made 3 pointers.  I think everyone has considered him the best long range shooter that basketball has ever seen for quite some time now, but seeing him begin extending his gap over #2 Ray Allen in the record books is something else.  He's still relatively young to be the all time leader in anything.  I have a feeling he's going to be smashing that record into pieces before he's done...  Imagine having 5+ years to just extend an all time record...  Amazing accomplishment.
So true. He is now making a record that will be difficult for the next era to break. It takes a lot of hard work to be on that kind of level and this is proof that he is not stopping just yet even though he already has 3 championship trophies to boast with.
He wants more and never stopped to be competitive. More broken records and more rings to fit both hands. Next will be Klay and I hope he will be back as early as possible with a healthy body to have a chance in trying to break Ray and Curry's records.

And with Curry's phase, he is on the 400++ made shots again. Last time he did this was 2015-2016 season. So imagine the gap that he will put between him and Ray Allen, it could really be hard to break in the next coming generations unless we see another shooter comes along. But we all know that this kind of talents doesn't came that much often in sports. Only James Harden, Dame Lillard and Lebron are the ones active at least in the top 10. Harden in the 4th position.

I suppose that the biggest game of the night was Golden State Warriors v Chicago Bulls. GSW are the team that have started in the best way to the season among all teams. They lost only once before this game in 10 games. And Bulls also started in a very solid way after renovating their roster. To be honest, I was expecting a quite competitive game here. But it turned out that GSW gained a quite comfortable victory by a 26-point difference (119-93). And Stephen Curry was at another level again by scoring 40 points. He continues to carry his team to victories.

It is just amazing to see that GSW has been continuously developing their players every game. You can see actually the improvement of these players as they slowly showcased their talents through building their confidence on the ring.

This game is truly a testament to what other teams should be wary about. Without Klay and Wiseman, the Warriors are continuously proving to other teams that they are indeed, the best team right now. Curry is just phenomenal to watch and that game showed a vintage Iguodala on the making!

Miami Heat is now working on their confidence. They are a big embarrassment last season which is not expected as they came from a Finals prior to that.
exactly... I realize in this season's Miami Heart is more competitive and stronger!

But I confess that I was surprised, with Utah  Jazz, because they got reduce the difference in the game!!

I'm excited to know if Miami Heat will continue to perform excellently throughout in this season.

If Utah Jazz will lose, it will be their 2nd straight loss as they also lose againts the Indiana Pacers. This team is good of coming back so I expect them to come back in the 4th quarter but for bettors, that +8 now looks like a winning bet already.

Doubt it.

Miami is a very hungry and youthful team, and Duncan Robinson is hot from a shooting slump.

Donovan does not look like himself today and the gap in my opinion is simply too big to close now in the third quarter. Quin Snyder will probably start benching the starters in garbage time very very soon.

Miami Heat 111
Utah Jaz 105

If bettors were able to bet at +8, congratulations! What are the odds? More if that is on a live bet when Miami Heat is enjoying a large lead.

I didn't know that there was a really great game on TV now which is between Utah Jazz and Miami Heat in Vivint Smart Home Arena. We are in the 2nd quarter now and Miami Heat maintain their lead by a 41-27 score. Utah Jazz have been terrible in the 2nd quarter so far (the current quarter score: 3-14). But considering that both of them started the season strongly, I think that Utah Jazz won't lose home with a big gap. But I don't expect Miami Heat to lose here.

Miami Heat played better in second quarter as well and Herro, Robinson and Adebayo made the difference. Except for Jordan Clarkson, there is no player in the Utah Jazz who contributed significantly to the score. Donovan Mitchell tried several three-pointers but failed. Joe Ingles and Mike Conley don't seem to be in shape at all. The Heat look like they're close to winning the game if they don't play differently in the second half. Utah Jazz have started the season well, but they've been stumbling in last games.

He is not a type of player who can do that kind of damage consistently. I will go for Tatum as he is more dedicated compared to Schoder.

Yes, he contributes good numbers from this OT game against Bucks, but I doubt he will continue making that same game from time to time
let us say it's time for him to bring his value and try to have another chance for a much bigger contract.

If Boston sees him as a valuable asset, who knows maybe they will offer him, but it can't be concluded just by playing big in one game, right?
Of course, one great performance doesn't mean anything, although it's worth noting that Schroder has scored 20 or more points in the last three games. I guess he will have a good chance to get a huge contract if he continues to play at the same level throughout the season and helps the Celtics reach the playoffs.

I agree, but the good thing is that he is he back as a part of a core team, similar to what he did with the Lakers. He became the main point guard, but the Celtics needed more from Dennis this tournament and hopefully this game is just the beginning for him to really improved and be 'consistent' because that's why the Celtics lacks specially in play-offs. Let Tatum take over the team, but at least Dennis will be there to provide some help day in day out.

They can expect that from Dennis as he will make sure to have a good season so he'll get a shot with a big contract he always dreamed of. This is his opportunity to show to the management that he is an all star caliber player, they just need to trust him like how the Hawks trusted him in the past.

He's already in the level of becoming an allstar, what he really needed is to become consistent.
That's something the young talents are struggling. To become consistent. I remember Schroeder became scoreless the whole 20 or so minutes of playing time when he's still in a Laker uniform, and I can say that's something an allstar would be doing lol.

Now, it's good to see him back in the groove doing some damages for the Celtics. I think he would be a good fit for them alongside with Tatum and Brown.

That's why I took the heat because they are undervalued in this game even without Butler who is reported out already in this game.
tyler-herro Heat injury report: Jimmy Butler OUT for Saturday’s game vs. Jazz

For me, it should not be a problem for the Heat covering the spread without Butler, but winning, I think there's a small chance only, but let's see.

Tyler Herro will be the starting player in exchange for Jimmy Buckets, I'd love to see more action from Tyler Herro since he's really been performing well since the preseason, the way he's playing right now is definitely something different, a much more disciplined Herro and consistent, I'd place my bets on Jazz though as they seem to be more consistent offensively compared to Heat.
