Paul George went off again tonight. He’s starting to look like pre-injury PG13 again. A shame he doesn’t have his sidekick out there with him, but at least he won’t tonight. He had to put up 32-9-7 on 5-8 from 3 point range but a win is a win no matter how hard the Clippers have to lean on him for it. It would be nice to see more wins coming from the Lakers/Clippers/Nets superteams.

He can't do it alone, I think he has the same predicament as Luka in Magic, needs to put up offensive numbers just to be able to win. But when everything went wrong, there's no one to help. It's good though that Reggie Jackson, Kennard and Batum has somewhat scored above 10 points, enough for George to get a very hard win against a 1-6 OKC. But maybe next time, they won't be as lucky as this game.

As the Nuggets went to a bad loss against the Grizzlies it reminded me to check about Jamal Murray. This is from October 12 news though.
Quote
“Just five months ago, I couldn’t lift my leg off the bed,” Murray said recently. “So, I’ve come a long way. But even when I do certain things, I’ve got to remind myself that I can’t do it to the speed or the level that I want to do it. … That’s just going to come with time. And I can’t rush time.”
Quote
“He’ll come back when he’s ready,” said Tim Connelly, the team’s president of basketball operations. “Not when we tell him, not a date on the calendar. Only he will know when he’s ready. And we’re at zero rush.”

The truth about mental problems after injuries. It sucks to be in that position.

That's true, we cannot expect that we will see the same Murray once he comes back as he might have healed his physical injury but mentally there's still some fear of getting reinjured and he might not be as aggressive as he was before. I hope that they will come back this season, it doesn't matter if after the regular season as long as he will be in the playoffs as Nuggets really needs his service.

Let's hope he will recover soon, but as per report, he is still listed as "out indefinitely."

Nuggets certainly missed him already, they have some struggle now losing with huge points against a team that is not even a championship caliber. Jokic will remain the main man of the team but we know they are lacking without someone that could consistentyl provide some support to him.

Reggie Jackson provided some help at the end of the game giving them the 3 point lead. I thought it will be the same as what happened with the Lakers.
There sure are a lot of teams underestimating OKC but they are giving them the shock whenever the game starts. Clippers are on the brink of losing it if not for a good end run.
Then, there is Nicolas Batum again with his defensive moments. Bro, I really love putting bets in player props for this man with steals and blocks.

Did anyone also just watch Celtics blow a 12 point lead at the beginning of the 4th and lose the match by 14 points at the of the quarter, fr Huh!

It's the second game in a row they're doing this, the blew a 9 point lead woefully just a couple of days ago at, that's with a few 2 minutes plus change minute at OT. Damn, I can't kind the right words, "🤡🤡🤡" would have been a befitting costume, If that's what they all dressed up for hallowing as

The comeback by the Chicago Bull to keep their number 1 spot is amazing where they able to beat the Boston Celtics with awesome runs in the 4th quarter where they were behind by 19 points.

You can't really close your eyes with this team or else you will end like the Boston Celtics.

The Bulls are raging like literally right now at the start of the season. They are now 6-1 and the top 1 overall.
The Celtics on the other hand though choked. They did the same as what Lakers did against OKC. The Celtics lead 17 at one point and only scored 11 points in 4th quarter. 11 points in 4th quarter only :X.

This Chicago Bulls is different right now. If last season the Phoenix Suns improved so much, now the Bulls are the one who improved heavily. The chemistry is there, lots of passers, they have shooters on perimeter and on three point line. If you will see on their roster, they aren't as strong as the ones who has superstars like now like the Lakers or Warriors but their chemistry is what is making this team at the top right now. I just hope that they can continue this kind of gameplay all throughout the season. I'm pretty sure that they will be in the playoffs.

I told y'all the Bulls is gonna have a strong start judging on how the preseason went for them, DeMar DeBuckets is definitely gonna love the chemistry, the difference between the Lakers and the Bulls is that these players are young and willing to pass the ball, DeRozan is already at his 30's but he's willing to pass the ball or take over if LaVine isn't at his game, just like what we witnessed against the Celtics, this Bulls team is definitely a playoff-contender, heck if they stay this consistent they may even be a finals contender, this season is going to be fun and entertaining.
No doubt and I will definitely agree with your statement, DeRozan is not shy to pass the ball to Zach or anybody inside if it's needed.
A good sign that no one among them is trying to be the best player but instead they are trying to be the best Wink

I see DeRozan is trying to guide those youngsters and they are really jiving the game. I would like to see more good plays from this new version of Bulls.

Keep those kinds of plays to work and bring them the win.

So far in this season, the team that I liked the most are definitely Chicago Bulls. Because they revolutionized their roster for this season and we are able to see clearly that it has affected the team very positively. They played 7 games so far and won 6 of them. They lost only to New York Knicks which are another team that have had a solid start. The result of that game was 103-104 and I really enjoyed watching it also. And Derrick Rose played against his old team in this game too.

LeBron tweeting that he's looking forward to playing the Rockets again tomorrow night.  Sort of strange for him to tweet about looking forward to a regular season game.  Especially one against what is very possibly the worst team in the league.  That makes me think he's got a little something planned.  There would be no better team to try and put up a monster game or maybe pull of some sort of shenanigans with Melo.  That or maybe he's just excited that everyone is talking about his reverse dunk from the other night so he's anxious to get out there and do something better.  We'll see...  I may have to throw a couple bucks on the Lakers just because.

One possible reason could be that the Rockets are filled with young players, last game was possibly one of the worst for the Rockets, what could you expect on this team besides KPJ, Wood and Jalen. LeBron definitely tweeted that because he's probably looking forward to teach the young guys, even last season LBJ told Marc Gasol to actually guard Wood saying that they need to hold him down, not a fan of the Rockets but I'm also looking forward to this game.

His probably excited to see them get a win against the lowly Houston. Unless the Rockets pull an upset tomorrow night. Yeah, I think the Lakers have this though, they are beaming with confidence now, Anthony is shooting high percentage, Westbrook somewhat redeeming himself now, Howard hitting a three last game, what more can you ask for? LOL. Probably -9.5 might be a good handicap to bet on them.

It seems like the Bulls have found a gem with the team rebuilding.
You can't really say a gem to veterans Grin They might be underrated but they had their share of the spotlight.

I'm guessing their performances and results is more down to the freedom given to them to just play basketball. No high expectations from the management and from the fans. It's like they are enjoying themselves on the court. I see a similar thing happening with the Miami Heat.

It seems like the Bulls have found a gem with the team rebuilding. Lonzo, Lavine, and Derozan plays like they have played each other for quite a long time.
Lavine and Derozan was unstoppable in the 4th quarter making damages from both in and outside the 3pt territory.

Well, let's see how long this Bulls could sustain their fire power.
So, many surprising team excells every season. Interesting!

^That Chicago Team is really something else. It's scary if you combine underrated players in one team. Lonzo, DeMar, Zach, and Caruso. Love it.

I watch two disappointing games with the Hornets losing against the Cavaliers and the Knicks also losing against the Raptors. Too much expectation could really ruin your bets, parlay is out I might go back to singles. Well, I guess it's also fun to see unexpected events like this and confuse basketball analysts about their predictions.  Grin
I was surprised to see the score, I thought that the Celtics are going to win this game.

And then I saw that they went on and tearing Boston Celtics with that magical run, ouch, it's gonna hurt.
I do agree that Chicago is a real deal now, there's one lost is also like this, it's a winnable for them if not for DeRozan missed. But they have bounce back to show that they are no joke now. Yes, a lot of upset, well it didn't went our way, but for sure we will go back tomorrow and start a winning streak.

Melo has great experience in the game and it amazed me, even at this age, he's still very good.

I think this is probably the best situation Carmelo has had in his entire career.  Seeing him rise to the occasion and not just put up all star numbers on the offensive end like he's expected, but to be putting up the defensive numbers he has been is impressive to say the least.  He had several blocks and steals in the last game and I can't remember the last time I've seen that from Carmelo.  I think he realizes this might be his last chance at a ring and he's putting in the work.  I hope as the season progresses we see that same level of effort from LeBron James.

I hope he will be consistent on that numbers. This is the last time for a chance for the NBA Championship.

Lebron is not a guy anymore where they can rely on him mostly. He needs a backup. I like the adjustment made not just by Carmelo but for others as well.

The Lakers nation are now in a hype again for this recent winnings.

but no idea why Dame is doing this bad so far, been nearly a month and he is still not doing well and missing threes which was his talent and for some reason he has been bad so far.

Maybe he is not 100% for the Blazers. What I mean is, before the season, Dame is mad at the outcome of the team every season and giving a hint that he might be transferred to another team and crash his loyalty.  He doesn't see again any improvement for the team yet and doing something to solve all their problems.

The next big news will be, Dame is asking for trades.

Lakers got Lebron back and on the first day they already got a win. I have to say that there is a good chance we could see Lakers recover from the bad start after this and start doing well. I get that we should not be shocked that they beat Rockets which is not a great team, but I believe that they are definitely doing nice, even with Lebron having only 15 points, he was there to regroup everyone together and increase the chemistry which worked. The big shock of the league is Dame and Luka so far, they are star level players, super star level players actually and they are not playing well at all this season.

I may understand Luka, he is getting a little sophomore block on his third year instead, understandable, but no idea why Dame is doing this bad so far, been nearly a month and he is still not doing well and missing threes which was his talent and for some reason he has been bad so far.
