At a young age, he becomes the leader of the Memphis Grizzlies now, he does not have a fancy handle but he is very smart on the court making him one of the top contenders to become an MVP this season based on my personal view. I like to see Memphis reach the playoffs again, maybe they'll do better this time and will advance to the 2nd round, who knows right?
Bro, you said it better than how I stated it.  Wink Perhaps they can. He leads in the Grizzlies offense but with Bane, Jackson, and Adams help he is looking better when they can offer a second chance opportunity for him. It adds a great deal of confidence for shooters and those who attack the rim thinking someone will save the ball if ever they miss it.
Poor Paul George.  He thought he was joining a superteam to win a few championships with Kawhi Leonard and instead he's having to play the best basketball of his career only to take home one L after another.  He scored 42 tonight on 15-24 shooting and his team still lost by 19 points to the Portland Trailblazers who only had one player on their entire roster who scored more than 14 points.  That player being Dame Lillard who had 25 on 9-17 shooting...  I'll say it again, poor Paul George.  At least he gets to play for a team near his home city.
Luke Kennard was next with 16 points point and the others are below double digits. He single-handedly fought against the Trail Blazers. I guess that's the right term for it. Poor George. Just as I thought, Bledsoe was never a good addition in their team. There's just no heart for the game unlike Beverley.
Also the reason why Bucks became the champion, they kicked out the culprit for their defeats.  Grin

Perhaps the Knicks anticipated that it will be DeRozan who are going to pull the last shot that's why they keep him with a bigger guy close to him. You can see that they didn't put a good defender on Lavine. Although is this kind of play I will still go with Lavine taking the last shot of the game.

Yes, tough lost, but we never expect them to close the lead of the Knicks to one and then Randle missing two FT, that was critical that could allow the Bulls to win. Just bad play in the last 4 seconds of the game.
They thought on it so well on that regards if that's the case, great coaching I say. LaVine was more agile and clutch I guess and I'd agree on that. I'd say the Bulls are still at its best even in this loss with the Knicks, I mean it's tough and close game, if they have take that as an opportunity miss they should have won it but yeah ball is round and there's too many possibilities and unexpected things that may happen. Now they're tied with Knicks and 2 other teams and only Jazz on the West remains undefeated.

Yes, at least they have been tested by a good team and knows how to react as they could have won this game if DeRozan made that shot. Nevertheless, the Bulls are really on the dark horse team in the league with their roster upgrade and everyone knows how to fit in the system. I'm also expressed with Caruso, if only Lakers could have made him a good offer, I think he still stay with them. But he already found a home and performing the Caruso that we have known him in LA.

Caruso deserves a better place and he played well in a team that has no Lebron that will tell him what to do. I don't know, but maybe if you are a player and you play with Lebron, it could be a toxic environment for you.  Look how fast his stats have improved already playing with the Bulls.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/carusal01.html

I don't think LeBron is the problem in LA, Caruso was still impressive when he was a Laker, LeBron is a team leader and got LA a championship but I don't think it's a toxic environment when he's around, not a LeBron fan but I don't think it's toxic, also, Caruso always had that potential, he definitely deserved to shine on a team like Bulls, LaVine needed their aid and he definitely deserve to be in Chicago, Lakers chemistry is really in shambles right now, Caruso's role in Chicago is just right, I think Billy Donovan wants to utilize them and not just place them on a single lineup.

It's just my observation though, maybe you are familiar with Dennis Schröder, he left the Lakers even though he was offered a decent salary, I know some would say he asked for more, but if he really wants money, then he should have signed with the Lakers since he is receiving a low amount of salary in Boston. Forgive me, it's just my personal opinion, I think Lebron is just like Kobe than always feels he is a superstar and he can do anyone he wants.

This Nets game is hard to watch. Everyone outside of the stars is struggling badly. I think they’re being exposed for their lack of a big man now that DeAndre Jordan left and without Kyrie they struggle to find the role players open shots. I think they’re going to have to figure out a way to get Kyrie on the court and look to sign a big man somehow or it could end up being a rough year for them.
They still have big man in Aldridge although he isn't fast enough though compare to other bigs out there and we know what happened last year to him. It might again become a hindrance for him to be healthy all throughout the season. Overall, his height with additional perimeter shooting is just good for the team.

I just watched the highlights of the Nets and I think you're right. If they want to get the championship, they must make a way to get back Kyrie and play again. Just by seeing their roster, if either KD or Harden will get injured the team can't compete against playoff contender teams.

They'll be less unpredictable with Kyrie Irving back on the floor as he can spread the floor, you can't play one on one with Kyrie and he will dance with you, so he is really a big piece for the success of the Nets as they build a big 3, without him, there's no big 3. I'm not actually impressed with their win as the Pacers do struggle this season so far.

What happened to the Dallas Mavericks? I was expecting a very close game but it's just a one sided beatdown.

Nuggets just dominated the Mavericks especially in the 3rd quarter that made them unable to come back anymore.
Congrats backers, this is an easy win for you guys.

Final score 106-75. Smiley

Yeah, I always felt like the Nets roster was a bit awkwardly constructed.

But at the end of the day there is no reason to not believe that they won't make the conference finals and the very least.

They have enough talent and the addition of Patty Mills was huge. Just a matter of coaching and chemistry now.

Durant by himself should be able to get them to the playoffs so I'm sure they'll be ok.  I honestly don't see them even making their conference finals with the lineup they have though.  A shame because they assembled a monster team and it seems like it might already be slipping away.  I thought it was a mistake for them to ever let Jarrett Allen go.  They did manage to turn it around tonight and end up with more rebounds than the Pacers.  The first half looked ugly for them on the boards.

I wonder how long Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving will continue to not play basketball...

The same goes for the Golden State Warriors now that it's not just Steph Curry who is making some good performance for their team. There are also speculations that Klay Thompson will come back as early as before the NBA All-Star next year. Klay and Curry's tandem doesn't need any explanation why they are called one of the best backcourt duo on the floor. If the duo will come back, the Western Conference will be more tight again as Warriors will now back again competing for the playoffs spot. Let's not think of that at the moment as it's too early.

I guess many Warriors fans want to see the duo of Klay and Curry in action again. However, it's worth noting that Thompson will need some time to adapt after returning, considering he has already missed 2 seasons. By the way, as far as I know, Klay may return in December.

It won't take that long for sure. Klay continue to play with them during the practice and the fact that the chemistry among GSW's core

they are not just teammates but friends who trust each others judgments, GSW will be more competitive when Klay start to appear.

Dub nation will once again be more entertained when seeing the splash bros exchange 3's. Plus the fact that it's not just them who can convert that long-range but most of the players are now a big threat to their opponents.

The percentage of converting from both the arc and a short range shots are more higher, knowing the caliber of Klay there's no doubt that he will add more good numbers.

The Lakers vs Brooklyn game tomorrow is a preview of their possible match-up in the NBA finals and we will gonna see which team has less chance to win the champion after the game tomorrow. The Lakers have their superstars healthy and the Nets will also play well with Kevin Durant and James Harden tomorrow which will make it the most watch game and will gonna be a slap for the Lakers if they gonna lose this one. Hope they will gonna win though since they started with a devastating loss with GSW.

Honestly I think the better matchup which will be a dogfight will be the 4-0 bulls and the 3-1 knicks.  Bulls haven't beaten anyone really good yet but their team has greatly improved, and the Knicks look even stronger than they did last year early on.  Kemba dropping 5 dimes in what was a blowout of Philly last night.  Knicks look legit, and have depth to get through tough stretches.

You are right mate, it was really a dog fight between this two, (was wondering why it hasn't been discussed).

Knicks won though by just 1 point, but when everybody thought that the Bulls was out, they come back strong in the last 1:40 to cut the lead.

And they have the chance to win it with 4 seconds remaining, it was DeRozan who took the last shoot and not Lavine, but it was an airball. Both of this teams are legit in the East.

Knew it was going to be the game of the night.  Was really a dogfight all the way til the buzzer sounded.  To be fair defozen dribbled over towards his guy who 7 foot mitch was covering.  Mitch came over to help and disrupt the shot.  Coach screwd up the last call, you never put a jump shooter in position right next to a 7 footer.  Outside of that it was what I expected.  These 2 are going to be a tough out for any squad out there.

Perhaps the Knicks anticipated that it will be DeRozan who are going to pull the last shot that's why they keep him with a bigger guy close to him. You can see that they didn't put a good defender on Lavine. Although is this kind of play I will still go with Lavine taking the last shot of the game.

Utah Jazz are the only 4-0 in the current season will they be able to climb to the top and manage to get to the NBA playoffs again or the GSW will regain their spot after a long hibernation?

It's not a question for me and also for others here. With Utah Jazz's current roster, a playoffs spot has a high chance. The same goes for the Golden State Warriors now that it's not just Steph Curry who is making some good performance for their team. There are also speculations that Klay Thompson will come back as early as before the NBA All-Star next year. We don't talk anymore if the Jazz will reach the playoffs as they obviously can be in the playoffs. The question is, can they win a championship because they lose against the Clippers last playoffs even though Leonard was out. I'm sure they acknowledge their mistake, their defense was weak and they have to improve that, so getting another big man did really help for them so they can also be confident while giving Gobert some breathing time.

Spurs are still losing, we had a good win early on but then lost 4 now. Most games end with us losing by only a few points and we usually lead by a lot early on in the games as well. I am pretty sure that there could be some correlation between the team being so young and not too experienced versus being not so great at late games as well.

However, some of the players are getting to that age where people start to fight for MVP title at that age, jokic, giannis all ended up getting MVP at early age, Luka looks like he might get it with one great season with his team, so all in all the core is very young I agree but not "too" young anymore.

I like the new poll, though I'm not sure the Bulls good start holds as much weight now that they ended up losing to the only good team they've played so far.  That was a really tough game to watch them lose too.  I first couldn't believe that comeback they made at the end when they were down 10-12 points, end up brining it to within 1 and then they miss two free throws to set up the potential winner.  Unfort that shot DeRozan took was horrid.   Angry
Bulls is a scary team this season, they haven't had this kind of start before and it looks like the pieces added have been clicking effectively. They failed on that comeback but that was just one loss, their record is still impressive as the 4-1 record is the best record in the East though 4 teams have shared it. Also, I can't help but notice, Charlotte and Wizards also having a good start.

^ I wouldn't say that this loss means a lot that they are a bad team. Yes, this loss was unfortunate but we gotta accept that they have had a good start to the season, unlike previous seasons. Those two missed free throws were very rough. They need to work on that. Although they are still 4-1 so far this season and I hope they will bounce back in the next one.

Agreed.  The Bulls are gonna probably contend with the Knicks for the 3-6 hole all year.  They have a real good team and lavine is way better than I expected.  Dude can absolute ball.  The east is finally getting stronger after years of lagging behind the west.  Was also nice to see the refs let them play through contact on both sides.  Bullish on 21-22 nba going forward.
