Does Ayton remind you of how Siakam contributed to the Raptor's title run?
Pretty like the same, but Ayton has been consistent already with the team, and I believe he will not be like Siakam that becomes just an ordinary player after getting a max contract with his current team. With the current performance of Ayton, I think he will get a max contract if he hasn't got yet.
I'm only talking about his game in this playoffs and not what's going to happen after this Finals.

Quote
I would not say that this early, there's still plenty of games in the Finals, remember, we are still in game 1 and things could change as the teams adjust
It's true that it's still more games to come but I'm not seeing anyone stopping him inside the paint. Maybe Lopez? I don't know. I think he loves shooting more 3's than defending the paint hehe. Giannis could help but he'll probably be too exhausted if he plays hard on both ends of the floor.

I think he'll be the biggest problem for the Bucks this series. He'll continue to dominate the paint since Bucks will be busy handling CP3 and Booker. It would be epic to see another buzzer beating dunk from him but this time over Giannis hehe.

3. The Bucks let Giannis play instead of just sitting there and recover from his injury.

I agree with the first 2 but disagree with the number 3.

Giannis is good to go so he was able to play, did we see him struggling on the floor? No, because a guy with a Knee problem would not make 17 rebounds and 2 of those are offensive rebounds, let's just accept the fact that the Suns played well in game 1, but we will not always see the same scenario because adjustments will be done next game.
Agreed, no sane doctor would have allowed the guy to play if there were not the right conditions. The guy was good to go, of course not in the best shape but he played and did well to me. The Suns were just too much for the Bucks this time. Next game, another story and if Giannis gets better that might be the click. Let's wait and see.

3 Keys that I see here why the Suns won Game 1.

1. CP3 is just too much for the Bucks.
2. Ayton dominated the paint.
3. The Bucks let Giannis play instead of just sitting there and recover from his injury.

They have nothing to stop Point God CP3 and he ended up getting 32 points and 9 assists. The third player who aged 36 years or older who scored 30 points in an NBA Finals. He just played like he is at his prime in his game.
Ayton just dominated the paint and ended up getting 22 points and 19 rebounds. The first one to make a 15-15 stat in an NBA Final Debut since Duncan made it in 1999. Nothing to say but a superb performance from him.
The third one is just my opinion. We know that Giannis had an injury against the Hawks and coming to Game 1 he is questionable but its surprising that they let him play. Yes he isn't a liability in the court as he got 20 points and 17 rebounds still but I know that he can perform more if he isn't injured. It would be better if they just let Lopez play in this game instead of Giannis.

A trivia that I just saw online. The winner of the NBA Finals Game 1 is ending up winning the championship 72% of the time. With this, we might say that the Suns have 72% chance of winning then Cheesy.

Bucks will bounce back in game 2, it should be a close game.  Smiley
I'm looking forward to seeing that they'll bounce back on game 2. After so many years that Bucks has appeared in the finals, many are counting on them to get this year's ring.
But they are not the favorites, so I think there's no high pressure on Giannis winning but I believe they can beat the SUns.
Actually the Bucks this season have less expectation because the favorites are the Lakers and the Nets, so I like to see them prove people wrong now that the suns are heavily favored to win in the series.

The line is out, Suns are at -5.5 in game 2.

Yeah definitely not the favorites, a lot of money on the Suns in this one. Still like the Suns in 5-6, they looked great last night.  Think Bucks switch jrue on cp3, can't let him orchestrate like he did last night.  Let someone else cover book

I agree, let someone else cover book as CP3 is the most important man on the roster, and someone has to neutralize him. Jrue Holiday is a great defender, he just needs to focus on going a great job against CP3 so the Suns' offense won't be easy. For sure, a big adjustment will happen in game 2 and with that, I believe the bucks would cover the spread if they'll not win.

Suns in 5 or 6, it's likely but let's see how people think once the Bucks won at least one game.

That far again huh. I thought that game could somehow change the line even for a little bit. We know how good the Bucks are with adjusting their game. They did it with the Nets putting a high level of defensive wall.
I think I am still going for the Bucks on this. I am glad the Suns win but I also want to win my bet with a good profit so I'll risk it. Kind of weird of me.
What the Bucks just lacks is how they will defend CP3 and Booker. If they can come up with a strategy about it then a close match will happen.
Maybe even an overtime for x15 bet.  Grin

Regardless of the performance of Giannis, I'm happy that he is back and healthy.
Our boy Giannis will adjust for game 2. I'm also in seeing that he's back and I'm hoping that there won't be that much injury that shall happen to him as he's the key player of Bucks.

About game 1, I think that's great, I mean the Suns won the game but it's still game 1, the bucks will surely adjust and come back, I like to believe that this season will be a long one.
Indeed it is. First time I saw players still fighting even if they knew it was already a lost game.
I think they took the stars out with just 30 seconds on the clock even though the lead is as high as 13.
Playoffs should be like that too but no it didn't happen. Lead is 10+ with 1 minute they garbage it and sit their stars to avoid injuries.
This is undoubtedly the Finals, fight back until the buzzer almost sounds. Good game, I wish the Bucks do have an answer for that even in the Suns' homecourt.

Game 2 would be different, if we like to back the Bucks, we should do that in game 2 and then bet on them in game 3 if they lose. I don't see this series to be another 4-0 win by the Suns, this should reach at least 6 games, and if goes in game 7, well, I should cheer for the Bucks to win.

Regardless of the performance of Giannis, I'm happy that he is back and healthy.

The final series has finally started. In the first game, Suns had a solid performance and managed to beat Bucks, 118 - 105.

C. Paul had a really great game. He got 32 PTS, 4 REB, 9 AST and was the most scorer of the game. Ayton's effort was also very big (22 PTS, 19 REB). At Bucks, Giannis has finally come back and played for 35 minutes. He got 20 PTS and 17 REB. It's not a bad performance though. He's newly bounced back in the end. In the second game, I expect Giannis to be better than now.

Though it was a dominant game by the Suns, that's still game one, this NBA final is a series and it's also a series of adjustments.

Bucks should be happy that they have a healthy Giannis, he doesn't seem like he came from injury because he still played well in game 1.

Played 35:19 minutes, have a double-double with 17 rebounds and 20 points.

Bucks gives a lot of free throws to Suns which Suns fully utilized and convert to a score. They are both almost equal in terms of Field Goal. I believe this is already a Suns game, They should address how to deal with Paul and Booker in the next game or they will suffer just like all the teams Suns beat on western conference.
The win came from that mostly. 25/26 FT. It's just Jae Crowder who made a stain of that missed free throw end game. It could've been a perfect stat.
DeAndre Ayon. This guy took real good care of the painted area. 22 points and 19 freaking boards which is awesome when you are up against Giannis, Lopez, or even Portis. CP3 with the same performance as Game 6 at Clippers or better.
Let's see how the Bucks will react at Game 2.

Ayton surprised again. He’s playing like an MVP candidate this postseason. I can’t believe the Suns are looking like they might win it all. I wouldn’t have guessed that at the beginning of the year. Phoenix better keep Ayton under contract at any cost going forward. That guy is going to have a massive breakout season next year and be an all star. If he keeps getting better the Suns could be scary good.

I myself have underestimated them at the start of the post season. I though they were just lucky they get passed the Lakers in the first round because Davis struggle to play throughout that series. But they proved me wrong. Ayton, Booker, CP3, and the rest of the Suns seems like in a perfect sync this post season.
Even If they can't win the Finals this year, I believe they'll still be intact next season as they are a power house team in the West.

Kendrick Perkins believes that CP3's journey to NBA Finals is amazing, he didn't hack the system by joining a super team like other star players. So if we win this NBA Finals, this would be a great achievement for him.

The NBA finals are something you need to take care about a single point and missing a free throw is not acceptable since both teams are capable to take advantage of that kind of weakness. Yeah! if they keep doing that, then there's no need to doubt because the Suns will gonna sweep them and finally will gonna have their chance to win their first NBA title which is the best thing that could ever happen since CP3 is on their team bringing those young guys to the NBA championship is not an easy task at all and winning it is a full prestige.
