I'm sad for Luka, he's a monster, he played really good and carried the team on his back. Mavs deserved passed.
46 points in playoffs, even in game 7, not just any player can do that.

I was impressed with Giannis, in most playoffs games he is modest and inconsistent, to be desired, but in this game against the Nets, he played well.

I agree. That Game 1 win for Atlanta is huge. Normally though the team off games usually lose because of rust, but I expect the 76ers and Doc Rivers to be prepared and have something to stop Trae from doing his thing. I mean they have Thybulle and Simmons to throw at him, but Trae still got his numbers on this one. I expect the Sixers to win Game 2, but it will be raucous when they series go in Atlanta onwards.

I missed both games today due to the schedule conflict but I couldn't believe that Trae Young still unstoppable vs the 76ers. man, they could win the series if they continue to play like that. You need to understand that his team has one of the toughest Center in the league which can match with Embiid. Indeed a great game earlier for them, let's see if the 76ers can counter their strategy in the next game.

If Sixers don't figure out how to stop Trae Young rather soon, series won't go past 6 imo. This dude has been routinely getting 30 and 10 every other game, like it's nothing. Sixers are also one bad landing away from Embiid (who is playing through a small meniscus tear) for the series to be over.  Back in November, i predicted that the Hawks will make the playoffs, but the way they are playing, shit i won't be surprised if they make it to the confs finals at least.

Los Angeles Clippers 126 Dallas Mavericks 111

Better luck next time for the Mavericks. I'm really rooting for them but at least they don't give the much dominant Los Angeles Clippers an easy run at their series.

Hopefully, Luka will experience his first winning playoffs series the next time they qualified again for the playoffs. His effort will surely be rewarded.

I'm expecting Dallas Mavericks will do some good actions in the post-season to somehow revamp their supporting cast. There are lots of good prospects that will be available in the market and they should participate in it.
Kristaps Porzingis 0/5 3pts. He lost his touch and being the unicorn. I think it was because he was forced to fill the power forward position which he is not.
He should be like Durant making outside shots or perimeter jumps.
Rick Carlisle focused too much just using 5 players in the game and forgot about how strong his power forwards are. Kleber and Powell.
The player rotation was not good and the zone defense killed them.

They have a good roster but forgot how good it is. They are a young team so just add this to the experience.

Clippers won't give match from here, it's already 15 points difference and only half a quarter left. It was a very hard play-off match-up but Clippers is so close to finish it.
Hawks surprised people again, they beat Philly and took the home court advantage. Normally you don't expect this performance from 5th seed team. We may see a longer series here, maybe that will go to game 7 too.

Luka is hot, 19 points in 1st quarter, that's huge man, and based on the stats, they are 30-2 when leading the first quarter, will they still this game 7 and win the series? Let's find out and let's see how the Clippers will adjust in the 2nd quarter.

It's been a very close one, we're almost half way into the 2nd Quarter, and both teams are keeping it close and good.

It is close, though the Clippers had an 8 points lead entering in the 2nd half, we can not guarantee they'll win as we know what Mavericks has done in the last 3 games in this venue. They have to limit Luka in the 2nd half, that's the key because if he struggle, the rest will.

It seems that the Clippers are in full control now. Up 18 points early in the 4th quarter.
Though Luka is able to pour a 30+ points again, but the Clippers scoring as a team is much more effective today.
Currently, I guess the Mavericks' are struggling to turn the table around. The Clippers are in a full momentum and they're 8 more minutes away from winning this series.

Let's see who wins in this most exciting series in the 1st round of 2021 NBA playoffs.

It's Clippers game to lose now, Clippers completed a crazy come from the third just after, Mavericks took a 5 points lead, the Clippers pulled 21-2 run, Mavericks have no answer whatsoever ever to that streak, It's game over! We're almost halfway into the 4th and lead is currently 15.

I just need two more Rebounds from PG13 to settle a bet 😏

can't be sure, it's still a close game and Dallas even lead the game in the 3rd quarter before the Clippers snatch the lead again.

The final game of Clippers - Mavericks series is going on great. We are in the 3rd quarter and the score is 74-72 right now. Doncic is playing superbly again. He is so close to making a double-double (29 pts, 9 ast). I'm enjoying the game really.

That stats of him would be nice if Dallas will win this game, but if not, it's just nothing since Luka is known for that type of guy who is a terrific basketball player, the biggest success is to win, regardless of the individual stats.

Is anyone watching the 76ers getting schooled at home court ? Atlanta Hawks are up to by 20 points at halftime and have scored 74 score that process, Hawks are playing with terrific offence and defence as well, all the Hawks team are shooting the ball extremely well, I really don't see the 76ers getting back from this, game is done and dusted, if you ask me.

76ers getting a good run now, it will be a miracle if they will get this game into OT. Too bad there's a little time only to make it possible.  They will lose game 1, game 2, they just have to adjust, learn and win all the remaining games, just like the Utah Jazz did.

Lucky for the Hawks that they've got a huge leads if not, the Sixers might snatch this one from them, Young again silence the crowd.

That two attempts from Danny Green, if only one of those two 3 point shot got nailed, the tempo might change and the chance of sixers to migth is more possible.

Congrats Hawks fans for winning this game, leading now 1-0 in this ECF semi-finals.

Great hustle play from 76ers, they could have forced OT or even snatch the win there... Regardless it was a great game from Hawks and 1 on the road is never bad, especially looking at how much of an underdog they were before the tip off.

Tonight will be an amazing game Clippers and Mavs will definitely have a marvelous fight and I can understand any team losing, the loser will be super sad but I think Dallas should not be sad just yet, Luka is very young and they can keep putting players around him and that is going to be awesome, they will get better and better with years and they can build a team around him, right now they are already not that bad but I think they can get better, I mean this dude will play another 10-15 years as well, so I think it is going to be very possible for them to win another ring, they just need a better team around him.

Clippers on the other hand spent so much picks and so much players to get their two main players and that means they need to win now or they are not going to win anything in the future, they have like maybe 2 seasons or so left after this, after that they are not going to be winning anything.

The Nets-Bucks game had a great start for the visitors. They used their physical advantage effectively, and the basketball players of the Brooklyn team could not catch their rhythm after the loss of Harden. However, over time, the hosts began to play their basketball and, thanks to their individual skills, were victorious. The key to the Bucks victory in the next matches should be tactics using their physical advantage:
-72:48 in a three-second field
-58-47 on the boards
-twice as many free throws.
The Nets must count on Harden's return because despite today's victory it will be very difficult for them without him. If the Bucks had better 3P% (20% - they had this result twice in the whole season), they could have won this game.

I'm really excited about the last game of Mavericks - Clippers series tonight. We have watched an incredible series so far surely. The last game is in Los Angeles. I think we will watch a great and competitive game and Clippers will be the side advancing to the next round.
They are likely to win here, they have the momentum, playing on their homecourt.

It's nice if we know these stats.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_game_sevens

Quote
Since the inception of the NBA, 133 game sevens have been played. Of those, six went into overtime, and one into double overtime. Twenty-eight game sevens have been won by the road team.[7] Every active NBA franchise has played in at least one game seven. There have been 12 playoff seasons in which no game sevens were played: 1947, 1949, 1950, 1953, 1956, 1958, 1967, 1972, 1983, 1985, 1989, 1991, and 1999. The 1994, the 2014 and the 2016 postseasons held the record for most game sevens played, with five. In 1979, 1981, 1988, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2018 and 2020 four game sevens were played. The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks both hold the record for most game sevens played in a single postseason, having played three game sevens in 1988 and 1994, respectively, the maximum possible at that time.

28/33 = 21% the road team will win based on history.
