I have to say I do not usually say that Refs are bad for a game because it is a quick easy way to get out, and I do believe that NBA refs are the worst refs in any sports, I watch almost all the famous sports and by far very easily NBA refs are the worst, only close competition is premier league refs.

However refs usually make horrible calls for both sides, I have never seen a ref be bad towards just one team because they do not really favor one team over another or at least make that known with calls, gotta give it to them they are always acting honest when it comes to teams, they suck for BOTH teams which is not good at all of course but at least fair. This game however was different, I have seen many many different times when Clippers got the favored call, Luka Doncic was murdered basically and he couldn't get most of the fouls, he would have 2x amount of FT if he got the calls he should have gotten.

...Kristaps Porzingis has been paid $31 Million this year but in the playoffs, he can't contribute to the team that well. I don't think that he deserves that salary knowing that his health is a little bit concerning. Your takeaways from it?
There are many players "with potential" that suddenly disappears from the court during playoffs even if they were healthy. I'm talking about almost non-existent presence while playing for long minutes. Some people chokes when the stakes are higher.

Kahwi doesn't get the help he needs from his buddy PG too.

I'm really devastated to see Lakers being eliminated by Suns 4-2. I was hoping much better from them. But Davis' condition was really affective on this result that's for sure. Lebron couldn't save the team just by himself.

I'm surprised to see the outcome of the game and I can't imagine Lakers exit so early this season. They are strong team eventhough davis or either lebron is out but unfortunately there supposed to be good rooster didn't click as they are relying on their stars. Also they should get a legit shooter in their team to help maximize their perimeter shooting and I think this could give them a different looks on next season.

They are not a strong team without Davis and Lebron playing for the team. In Lebron's first year with the Lakers, they did not reach the playoffs because Lebron got injured and missed many games, 2nd season they won a championship, and that' because they got AD and Lebron was healthy.

Prior to the playoffs, the Lakers were 2nd in the favorites to win the NBA championship this season, that odds are based on the healthy squad of the Lakers.  So if one star is down, the odds will not be justifiable anymore. The odds have changed now.

2021 NBA Championship Futures
Team   Odds
Brooklyn Nets   +170
Utah Jazz   +300
Milwaukee Bucks   +600
Phoenix Suns   +750
Philadelphia 76ers   +1000
Los Angeles Clippers   +1100
Denver Nuggets   +1500
Dallas Mavericks   +2500
Atlanta Hawks   +3300

But before Harden was traded, Brooklyn was not in the top favorite, it was the Lakers.

You see, it changes depending on the status of the team, Lakers are just unlucky they have injury problems this season.

If the clippers win game 7, fans doubts will disappear, and might erase the memory of last season, I thought the Mavs has the chance to win it, but a crucial shot was missed, due to lockdown defense, the three-point shot by Leonard seal the clippers win, but can they continue that momentum in game 7, saw mark cuban's face win leonard hit the shot he was devastated.

Of course, and I think the Clippers will be the favorites to win the WCF.. I don't know but I have a feeling the odds will suddenly change. They have a challenging first round in the series, sure they have learn a lot if they will win, just like how the Nets took a one-game loss against the Celtics, they said it help them to know their mistakes.

Well , it looks like Clippers found a way to block Luka last night but to be honest I watched 1st half and it seems Luka wanted more help from his teammates in this game so I expect him to go all or nothing in game 7. However, I still want Mavs to win as my favorite player is clearly Luka Doncic.

After that controversial three-point airball last night, Kawhi Leonard bounce back strong and single-handedly dismantle the Mavericks in the fourth quarter.

Luka did not get the help he wanted from KP when it mattered the most. For them to win game7, they must have high percentage from the rainbow which was not present last night, they missed a lot of open shots.

This Clippers-Mavs series is the first one to reach game7, so expect another exciting finish and I think this would be a close and low scoring game.
Exactly, from one of the most clutch player to unclutch in game 5 to god mode in game 6 and carry LA Clippers and forced the first game 7 this season.

Saw interview of of Leonard, he wanted switch on Luka, seems he takes it personally, making this series one of the best 1st round we had in years. Now it's going to LA home court, I wonder though if the trend will continue, the visiting team always won.

In an interview after the fight, Leonard has so much respect for Luka as he calls him a dominant player and a hell of a player, there's no one who could stop him but with Leonard, he can limit Luka. The Clippers did the right thing, Paul George now is more careful in his shot selection and he is getting back his game, hopefully more players will contribute for the Clippers in game 7, it's their last chance to shine.

Everyone on the Nuggets are stepping up, their defense is their key to success, so being an underdog, should not be a problem for them.
People still see a Nuggets less Murray as a weakness but in reality, it's not anymore.
Super agree.  Wink
They adapted to it. Every player is stepping up. Hell, I don't even know about Shaquille Harrison (named after Shaquille O'Neal) and Markus Howard before but now I do because of their efforts to be known by contribution for the team.
Denver Nuggets will win this 2nd round but that will be a biased analysis since I am a fan of them.
I doubt a Game 7 though if the Nuggets will play the same way they did with Portland Trail Blazers.

I'm seeing a 4-2 series in favor of the Nuggets. I'm still actually waiting for the series odds now as I like to hammer them. Suns beat the Lakers, which makes them overrated, but actually, they beat an undermanned team, that's only the reason.

Tonight big game against Nets and Bucks. Favorite ?

Bucks are looking a lot better this season in this stage, than in previous years, and IMO they would kick-out Nets in five or six matches, so they need to win one of first two
since betting in game is not an option, it is late night in my part of the world, would probably skip this one, and bet on second one if Nets win this

both teams cleared first round opponents easily, but Philadelphia will be tough in the finals (I do not think that Hawks have any chance to pass-through in other semi-final)

Magic and Kareem duo are better for me than either of the 2 duos that you shared. Sky Hook for the win Cheesy. Nahh but kidding aside, that is the only shot that cannot be blocked by any other player especially when it is being used by a tall player like Kareem.

Before the series starts, I already said that when LBJ and AD will be healthy all through out the game they can end this in 5-6 games but if one of them will be injured then the Suns will win and that really happened. The Lakers can't beat the Suns if one of their superstar is injured. It will be very hard for the Lakers team to fill the gap of the injured superstar, in this case its AD.
Yes, this is true, the NBA has never had another player in history after Kareen retired who knew how to perform Sky Hook as well like he did.
And it really was impossible to block him, besides this technique is very efficient, Abdul-Jabbar was also very tall, I think 218cm (7-2) tall.
The only block I've seen in my life, was Wilt Chamberlain blocking Kareen's sky hook twice in a row, that was monstrous  Shocked

Suns Vs. Nuggets who will win for you?? Any predictions?? If only Murray can play then I will go in Nuggets in 6 but since he isn't, I will go with Suns in 6-7 games Smiley
Hmmm, I don't know, I find this question interesting, but we need to put in several factors that can occur. I don't know if CP3 will be 100%, Booker needs to play very well, Ayton and Crowder need to play really well defensively. If they can "deactivate" Jokic, it will be something very advantageous.
But as you said and I agree too, if Murray coming back into the game, there's a good chance the Nuggets will win.
The teams are very balanced, I don't have a concrete answer, but I think this series could have 6 or 7 games

Well, while we don't know the result, I'll be anxious to the game on monday  Grin

Imho Hardaway Jr deserves this contract more at the moment than Porzingis. By the way, what health problems does he have? IIRC he returned after the injury three weeks ago, and I guess enough time has passed for him to adapt. Anyway, I agree with you that Porzingis isn't effective on the court in this series.

Mavericks - Clippers series is still live and going on superbly.  Cheesy  I was wondering whether Mavericks would succeed in finishing them off. But Clippers had the last word and made it 3-3. Doncic had another wonderful game but the star of the night was definitely K. Leonard.  Grin  He scored 45 points and made a huge contribution to this vital win.

Lebron couldn't save the team just by himself. Btw, D. Booker played really great in the last game and his contribution to the win was huge (47 points, 11 rebounds).
Well like i said i wouldnt be suprised if the suns win the match and the series against lakers. Lakers have 2 amazing players but they cant carry the entire team through the play offs. Suns clearly have a better team. Covered all positions well
The Lakers have a better superstars but overall, the Suns have a better roster and a better health too Smiley.
The Suns deserve this win since they've worked hard just to be in the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. From being at the bottom for a long time to now at the top 2. Lets face it, LeBron is aging and AD is very prone to injuries thus they got this. No need to feel sad if you are a Laker fan. For sure they will make a reshuffle this off season. I just want to remove Schroder and Kuzma in the roster.

Clippers beat the Mavs to force a game 7. It looks like this year it might be the Clippers that advance and the Lakers that are to blame for no playoff matchup of LA teams. Maybe next year… I’m looking forward to seeing Luka in a game 7. It’s going to be a battle out there on Sunday. First we get a look at the Nets vs Bucks on Saturday. That should be a great series.
The Mavericks can still win that game but Kawhi made 2 consecutive isolation plays and made 2 threes at that possessions putting the Clippers into a spot to win.

Kawhi really redeemed himself after his air ball shot in Game 5 and erupted with 45 points. On the other hand, Luka didn't have a good shooting night especially in the second half. Kristaps Porzingis has been paid $31 Million this year but in the playoffs, he can't contribute to the team that well. I don't think that he deserves that salary knowing that his health is a little bit concerning. Your takeaways from it?

Dallas Mavericks can blame themselves. They were ahead 77-73 after the end of 3rd quarter. Paul George gave the clippers a lead when he scored 3 point to make it 82-79, and from there it went downhill for the Mavericks. The turning point was when 5:11 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, when Tim Hardaway missed an easy chance. If he had scored 3 points then, the score would have got tied at 88-88. And in the last few seconds, Kawhi Leonard scored a few 3 points, while Kristaps Porziņģis missed a relatively easy chance for Mavericks.
