I just don’t know if Curry can be enough. Even with AD and LeBron not at full strength. Plus, you KNOW nobody wants to avoid playing more games before the playoffs than LeBron. If he’s able, I expect we’ll see him play like we haven’t in many months. I don’t think golden state has any answer for Drummond either. If the Lakers can all play together well, the Warriors just don’t have the size to match up.
Lebron was down 3-1 against a 73 win warriors and still managed to win the championship with bunch of scrabs that became tanking team after he left, I do not get how in the world people are still underestimating lebron after all these years, it is seriously unbelievable.

I mean he has AD and very good role players around him now, sure not superb but they are still very good, I would prefer last years team over this years honestly but they are still very good, versus Warriors team missing Klay, how do you guys imagine Lakers could ever possibly lose to that? Lebron would never allow that, and AD is way too good to be stopped by any big Warriors have, the natural PF at warriors is Draymond and no matter how great he is, even during New Orleans days, AD cooked warriors, he is like their kryptonite and he will destroy them once again here as well.

This is what major upset lakers can bring to warriors since they can actually beat the warrioirs on size since warriors don't have legit center while lakers have drummond and davis which can actually provide a good numbers and also at the defensive ends, for sure this is a big problem what warriors coaching staff are facing right now but let see how Warriors change the phase since they still have the confidence for winning consecutively on their past games compare to lakers.

He's rapidly approaching 40 years old and is coming off an injury without time to play himself back into shape, that's how.  I'll be the first in line to say LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time, but his reign isn't going to last forever.  He's already resulted to changing his game a great deal over the last two years as a result of losing a step, but he's still capable of greatness no doubt.  The LeBron that beat the 73 win Warriors isn't the same LeBron of today though.  It is clear he's slowing down and this last year has been a brutal one for him with nearly no time off and a serious ankle injury.  I am appreciating every game I get to see him play, because his days are numbered.  I do hope he can manage to build a strong enough team around him to win 2 more championships though.  I'd like to see him end up with as many as Michael Jordan when all is said and done.

Celtics vs Wizards is slightly tougher to call since Jaylen Brown is out for at least 3 months which means he's not participating in the playoffs. Would have favored the Celtics otherwise.

I'm going against the popular opinion here, I like Wizards chances against Boston. This season it was really close game between the two. Head to head Boston won, 2-1, but if you look at the their last game, it was close, Celtics won by just 1 point. And the last time Wizards won, they lead by 13 points.

And since Celtics is without Brown, and with Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, having a good chemistry, I would say it's going to be close again, but Wizards will get it done.

Yeah this is a complete toss up.  It could be one of those games Beal drops 50 but russ goes 4-22 from the field.  I like going with better backcourt in a toss up so I think I'm riding the wizards here too.  Celts sputtered down the end, and I think the loss of Brown was huge.  Tatum needs to be spectacular here to win this one.

Lakers are being favored to win versus the Golden State Warriors. I am going against the favored team here. I am not a fan of Lebron and I just like how much they are giving for the moneyline.
2.60 to bet for the Warriors and that's not bad. I am just a bit worried how Coach Kerr will solve the problem under the rim.
With Drummond and AD dominating the rebound, the Lakers will have a lot of 2nd chance opportunities. We might see Wiggins helping down there and having a double digits in rebounds. Offense is not much of a problem, use Steph as a diversion to give Jordan Poole some space. He can shoot if pressure won't take him over.
Yeah, this match will be difficult for GSW because AD and James looked good in recent games. However, I won't be surprised if Curry will turn on Berserk mode in this upcoming match against the Lakers, and we might see another great performance by him with 50-60 points.

What team do you think will get the rank 7 and 8 in the west guys?
I have also the same opinion as others that 7th and 8th seed will either go to Golden State Warriors and still Lakers.

We're not underestimating those at the top bracket that's fighting for the 8th seed. But whether GSW and Lakers lose or win to each other, they have higher chance to get in with any of those slots.

Still Lakers and Gsw. Either of the two losses in their play-in tourney, they are guaranteed to win against the winner of the 9/10 game.
But of course the Lakers has the higher chance at beating the Thompson-less GSW and they could immediately advance in the 7th spot in the playoffs. While GSW has a higher chance on winning against Griz or Spurs and take the 8th spot.
Well, nobody has seen this kind of playoff structure before and this is why we are all excited about.
I think no matter 7th or 8th the lakers will win whoever they face, and I think the suns want the lakers to lose, because for sure they have no chance, at the same time it will be a good matchup for the jazz if they can defeat the lakers they have a chance in the finals, but it will be a mountain they need to climb because lakers are healthy, I hope they put up a good fight if it happens.

Wednesday night at 7 PM (pst) on ESPN, Los Angeles Lakers versus Golden State Warriors this is going to be one hell of a game. Steph and LeBron meeting up once again on the road to a championship, only a little different this year. They’re playing to avoid fighting for the 8th seed in yet another added game before the playoff starts. Everyone knows how much LeBron needs rest before his playoff run, so you can expect he’ll be doing everything in his power to win this one.

Yes, this is a interesting matchup, Steph winning the scoring title so for sure he is still hot while Lebron and AD is back and the team as well. So for sure this will be one of the most watch game.

Wizards vs Celtics, I will go with Wizards here, Celtics seems to be having some problems in their last 10 games. They usually started slow, while Wizards with Beal and WB can take advantage of it and raise to a good lead before Celtics can react, it will be too late.

The Lakers are expected to win, they are a favorite by -6.5 now, I think the Warriors would play harder here and they can win in this game, I'm rooting for them as I cannot underestimate Curry and they might even pull an upset here by beating the Lakers.

Yes, we can't discount GSW here, Curry just won the scoring title, so he will be hard to stop in this important game against the Lakers.

Everyone is GSW's uniform will have to step up though, the Lakers with Lebron and AD will play like this is the NBA Finals. Gonna be close game, so it won't hurt if I'm going to bet on the underdog GSW here.

Tonight, Lakers will play a really important game against Pelicans. As Pelicans have no chance left for the playoffs, I assume Lakers will completely destroy them. And they will promote to the 1/8-finals even if Trail Blazers win their game also. Because Lakers are ahead in the head-to-heads.

You were wrong about Lakers would promote to the 1/8 finals even if Portland won their game. I assume you didn't see one of their games. Because Portland won two of their three games against Lakers this season.

So, Lakers and Portland both won their games but Portland managed to promote to 1/8 finals thanks to the results they got in their head-to-head games.

How about Tony Snell becoming the first NBA player to shoot over 50% from the field and 3 point range while shooting 100% from the free throw line… People are celebrating Kyrie getting into the 50/40/90 club but 50/50/100 might be the new bar to beat. Not sure how likely it is that someone will do this again…
Even with his cold hands.  Grin That was some precision.

How about Kevon Looney? he is almost close to double digits are far as rebounding and could really help a lot in the inside. I agree that they are giving so much in the middle, with Davis, Drummond, Harrell and Gasol.

Wiggins and Poole are shooting hot so it might open a bit for the Golden State as for sure they are going to double and triple team Steph.

Pacers vs Hornets and Celtics vs Wizards coming up on 18th night as the playoffs - Promotion kicks off. Who do you think will win those match ups? Hornets are on a 5 game losing streak and Pacers seems to be the favorites and I think the Pacers will pull through to the next round. For the Hornets, it all falls on Rozier.. if he outshines Pacers.

Celtics vs Wizards is slightly tougher to call since Jaylen Brown is out for at least 3 months which means he's not participating in the playoffs. Would have favored the Celtics otherwise.
In Pacers Vs. Hornets, I might go for Hornets with this. I like to see LaMelo going into the playoffs and TBH, I like the way they are playing. They are at the top when it comes to assist (5th this season). Ohh I forgot that Pacers have McConnell who is also great at assist and they are 2nd right now but still I will go with Hornets with this Smiley.

Celtics Vs. Wizards hmmmmm. Both of the teams started out not that good especially Wizards which started 17-32 and ended the season with 17-6 record. Brown is also injured at this moment and the Wizards are playing better thru the end of the regular season and I think that they can carry it into this Play-Ins that is why I will go for them with this match-up

Lakers Vs. Wizards. Which team are you in Cheesy. This is a good match-up. LeBron Vs. Curry. I just hope that nobody on the 2 superstars of Lakers will not get injured throughout the game so that we will see a very entertaining game until the end Smiley.

And since Celtics is without Brown, and with Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, having a good chemistry, I would say it's going to be close again, but Wizards will get it done.

When you look at it, it's not bad of a match up even if the Celtics will be missing Jaylen Brown for the season.
Celtics still have Kemba, Tatum, and Smart while the Wizards have Westbrook and Beal.
It's still not easy to predict who will win the game but I am rooting for the Celtics here.
I want to see Tatum stepping up his game. He's a naturally good player with consistency and there is something unique about him.
This will be the game to stand out the most just like how his mentor Kobe Bryant stands out whenever the team is in a crucial position.

Its true that Curry carrying his team to the playoff . Unfortunately MVP is more about team record than anything else. Unless he gets some to advanced stages in the Playoffs
For me i think the award should be given for either  R.Westbrook as he have some interesting stat, same goes for Bradley Beal, but they don't have the same offensive impact that Curry have with GSW.
There is regular season MVP as well and also Playoffs MVP. I guess he was talking about Curry winning the season MVP. Which Curry has a real good shot at, since he's been very consistent and constantly put up good number and carrying his team into the playoffs. If he was injured, Warriors would surely have been out of the playoff contention for sure. Beating the Lakers to make it into the next round of pre-playoffs would be a major challenge though. Cant wait.

If he's team will go atleast on conference finals maybe he can get that title but if denver will overcome them well thats another story since the joker is one of the leading in terms of MVP discussion.

Also I'm confident that they can go to playoffs remember they have a good run recently compare to lakers where they struggle. Although we can say that its rough road to warriors but I'm sure their confidence has already been boost up.
