Out of all the games tonight I lile 4 of them:

Detroit at home +8
Knicks at home (now) -2.5
Golden state at home +6.5 (think gs played them tough before this one im considering a ML with real nice odds)
Sacramento at home +5

Heavy on the first three, less on sac.  Thoughts??

I also like the knicks game under 211.5

Riding my homerism  Cheesy

3-2 tonight.

Starting tonight will make 5 picks a night and see how this goes for 2 weeks.  Will make all even bets, minus vig will see how this goes.

Starting tonight am 3-2.  Tomorrow is another day Smiley

Today's picks.  Thoughts?

1)Heavy on Bucks -12.5 (I'd take this one up to 16 i think this will be a blowout tonight)
2) under Bucks game 221; hedge against the spread.  If the Bucks have a poor shooting night and don't cover than I have the under as the hedge
3) Dallas -6 at home against the magic.
4) miami, wash game over 230.5. This one is going to be a run and gun game i think.  Can see a 125-115 kind of game
5) pacers -2.5 at home.  Suns are good i just like pacers at home on this one.

2week streak: 3-2

I thought that Nuggets already got the game. From the first quarter up to the third quarter, they're leading not until Dallas was able to cope up and take the lead.

And in that last 2 seconds of the game, everyone thought that Dallas has already taken the game until Jokic took a flight shot and was able to make it up to an OT. Still, Dallas won after the OT.

I never thought of that because Mavericks always find a way to bounce back on that game even they are down by 10+ most.

Actually, in the 1st Quarter, the game was close. And on the following quarters, Nuggets just maintained the lead at around 10+ but Dallas always finds a way to shorten the lead. And their team effort paid off as they finally get the game close before the start of the 4Q. Almost a win for the Mavericks in the regulation but Jokic made the clutch shot that lead to OT. Doncic and Richardson made some important clutch shots at the OT and that leads them to win the game. Nuggets have a good stats line on this game but still, lose.
That's just my presumption while watching the game before. That's always the clutch of the game, they have good performance yet still lose.

It's hard to accept that sort of defeat when you're close to winning but eventually, you've lost. Moving forward Nuggets versus 76ers later, any thoughts for this match?

Jazz beat Giannis and company and make a new franchise record of 25 3s... you like that?

Jazz Set Team Record 25 3s vs Bucks! 2020-21 NBA Season

O'Neale 6-8
Bogdanovic 4-10
Mitchell 4-9
Conley 5-10
Clarkson 5-12

Look at these numbers, it doesn't matter how good their opponent are if they can make these numbers.

That's another thing, if they can continuously produced this kinds of stats then they are more deadlier outside,
those names are known scorer and aside from the outside range they are also good moving the ball.

If they can make their numbers from time to time  chances of winning is really high, even they've going against super teams this consistently if being played well.

Though it's not everyday but if they can deal with it in most of their upcoming games,
this team will be more competitive.
Jazz was never a bad three point shooting team neither. They have Ingles on their team, which is a prolific shooter and he was missing this game, and I do not mean he was missing his shots Cheesy. I mean he was literally out for Bucks game. So, to think that they were missing their best player and yet still broke team three point record shows you how well they are as a team.

The problem they have is usually defensive, sure they have Gobert who is a great inside defender, however not everyone goes inside, for example if Jazz shot 25 threes, how would Gobert defend this jazz? At the end of the day league is a lot more perimeter oriented and Jazz is not awesome at that level, they need to get better defensively or they are going to be remembered as a "good offensive team" back in the day when you look back and not really a contender at all.

An impressive game for GSW.
From 22 lead of the Clippers then gaining the win. Outscored them 52-20 for the last 15 minutes of the game.
Steph was on fire.
Wannamaker 2/2 3 points shots were critical to the game and Paschal at the center position abusing Zubac whenever they substitute Ibaka.
It was a fun game, they are developing their chemistry faster.

Congratulations wheelz1200.

The same Clippers we saw in the bubble? Why can't they hold on to their lead, they need some consistency so what happen during the bubble will not be repeat again. It's just amazing to see that GSW starting convince people that they are really back and that is by beating good teams.

I lose my bet but I'm happy for GSW, have to bet on them next time.
Yes, that's true.
I don't understand what happened with the Clippers.
Is the GSW team really better than them or are they still not synchronized?

New coach, some new players especially Ibaka which could absolutely help in their chemistry but it's like the star duo are really hard-headed.
I am not concluding it yet but it looks like they are strong individually and not as a team.
That is why they are defeated by GSW as a team.

Golden State Warriors played a home game against LA Clippers this morning. Although Warriors were 65-51 behind at the end of the first half, they managed to turn the game around and beat Clippers 115-105. On Warriors side, S. Curry played really nice. He got 38 points and 11 assists. On Clippers side, P. George got 25 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. K. Leonard got 24 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. S. Ibaka got 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

What about the tandem of KD and Irving. They are once playing against each other in the championship game from Cavs vs GSW. I did not expect that they will going to team up each other in a team. However, I do not like their tandem. I would better have Irving or KD rather than two of them present in the court. Both guys just wanted to shoot and score. Irving has lot of miss baskets and KD also had gone injuries and I do not know if he can still win a championship game. Hopefully they will going to work together.

Well it seems that I was right about Pistons winning against Suns as history was no different last night. It's true that Suns started the game much better and they scored a lot that at some point they had double digits points in front and yet when the 2nd half started , Pistons were at a higher level than them and this brought them the victory. I think Suns lost only because they are a bit tired...

LaMelo had an amazing game tonight and helped beat his brother Lonzo’s team while nearly putting up a triple double. One assist short, but it was clear he had the best stats of the game. I almost can’t believe what I’m seeing. I didn’t expect he would be so good but here we are.

Just 1 short in assist to get a triple double, I call it the games today was the games for the underdog, majority of the dogs covered and some even win straight up. His brother Lonzo does not have a good night. Sad

I did notice a lot of the underdogs managed to cover the spread tonight. Teams are still trying to find their place in the standings so wary in the season and with the wild circumstances leading to the beginning of the season, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a lot of these upsets as things get going.

Suns are always having hard games in Detroit and they never won in 2 years with them so this can also be a good advantage for Pistons and they also need a win so bad to cheer up their morale as a team.

In this case, they played without fans, but somehow it was another hard game for Phoenix in Detroit's arena. The Suns looked very weak in the second half, including overtime. Anyway, it was a necessary win for the Pistons.

They've able to make 25's but Bucks do able to make 29's for the record: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/bucks-set-single-game-nba-record-with-29-made-3-pointers-in-dominant-win-against-heat/

Splashing out 3's for that much on a game is really good to look at but its a quite boring and i do much prefer on seeing driving moves towards the basket.
The  question is, would they able to sustain those 3's high precision on next or upcoming games to other teams? Lets see what happens.

The motivation for the players is likely to change knowing that their franchise is about to be sold very soon. But as long as they are under a contract and they are paid for those contracts, I think they should only think about the league and not about the franchise.

Disagree with the first part but agree with the following one.

I don't think a player's motivation will change for that kind of issue. They care for their career and being a professional one, they need to play their best at whichever team regardless of the plan in the future. Players build and improve their stats as a part of their career profile and that issue shouldn't affect their performance.

Selling the franchise will not totally rebrand the whole team if decided. It's just a change owner and most likely, not much changes will be made by the new owners.
Knowing that your franchise is ready to be sold, will somehow affect their thoughts about the future of the team. But that's just my assumption because if I'll be putting myself on their shoe, that's going to be the thinking that I'll have. But the new owner can set new things, staff, manage and even take a reshuffle for which he thinks suits the best for the team. That's what usually happens after the turnover of old management to their new management.

Guys can Pistons have a chance tonight against Suns ? As far as I researched this game I ended up with the result that somehow Suns are always having hard games in Detroit and they never won in 2 years with them so this can also be a good advantage for Pistons and they also need a win so bad to cheer up their morale as a team.

If you look at a couple posts above I have the pistons +8 in this.  They will play them tough.  I think this is a good matchup for the pistons and getting 8 points at home is a decent amount.
Of course, I would not hesitate betting on the Pistons at that high spread. Pistons in their last 8 games they are 4-4 ATS, so that's a decent spread and their 50% is not bad to cover since they badly need a win, if they lose, at least they'll make it a close game to cover.

This is now exciting as the game already finished and Piston still close.

If this tempo won't change and piston continue to chase the chance of winning this handicap will be cover and those who
bet for this will enjoy, only 4 mins left and Sun only ahead by 4 let see if how piston will keep the small distance or a chase of winning.
