Houston NEEDS to start winning i think they school pacers in a blowout (over 8 point win),

I believe that, I got them to win at 11+ with a decent odds, so I'm counting on them, after a loss, I think they'll bounce back hard and they'll have a win with some big margin, good luck bro, let's get it on.

Good catch, as houston loses with only 7 points margin.

They'll still losing their games seems like harden is no longer interested in winning, he's far from those stats when he still as scoring
champ! Wall can't carry this team as the ball needs to rotate to Harden without he's scoring mentality even Wall will triple he's productions
it's tough for the team to win the game.

Although the Washington Wizard was dominating the play in the first 3 quarters, the Philadelphia 76ers manage to snatch the win in the last minutes of the game. Joel Embiid displays a very promising performance. also, Beal got 60 points from this game despite their loss.

How did you get Houston +11 at decent odds.  Either way they are down 9 early in the second.  Its early still but not a good start.  Atlanta looking a little slow to start as well.  At least my knicks are playing some solid defense to start out.  Go knicks

Thoughts tonight on my picks:

Knicks home vs jazz +7.5
Houston away at pacers +2
Atlanta home versus Charlotte -6

I know the knicks have some injuries but jazz on an east cost 2nd game of a back to back -7.5 seems like way too much, think it should be more 2-3 point favorite

Houston NEEDS to start winning i think they school pacers in a blowout (over 8 point win), and Atlanta well I just think Charlotte still stinks like usual so let's go with Atlanta.

Thoughts?

There are some news about potential Minnesota Timberwolves sale as longtime owner Glen Taylor is negotiating with buyers and estimate sale price was $1.5 Billion in November 2020.
Minnesota is now in very bad form, lost last four and now they play with Denver Nuggets.
This should be easy win for Denver Nuggets.
Here's the article. (https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2021/01/latest-on-potential-sale-of-timberwolves.html)
Very sad to know for the team that the franchise is for sale. The owner is hoping for it to see a higher value soon. But if there will be someone to buy it, for sure it's another popular name that we know.
Maybe this team will improve under a new ownership, so it's okay to have a new owner as this might be a fresh start for them. This team has now tank based on what I see, KAT give some hope to this team but he needs more talents to help him, and it didn't happen.
Just like a popular team that went through passive and became weak for seasons, time will come to them that they'll also be recognized again. The lineup could be fine by now but still, that's not enough to bring home the bacon. Well, if Glen has to sell it for himself, he'll do it. That's part of his investment and business but as long as there will be a willing taker for the team and to have new management for the franchise, the team shall keep moving.
Hopefully this will be sold soon, it does not help to a team knowing the owner is selling it, it does not help build confidence and feel secured on entire team's side. Though this is just normal, there's still an indication that the team are not selling anymore, reason the owner sold it already, and we can understand since the timing is quite unquestionable.

Portland played a home game against Chicago this morning. It was a quite nice game. Portland finished the first half 54-45 ahead but Chicago turned the game around very nicely and beat them 111-108. Chicago got their 3rd win on their 4th away game. On Portland side, McCollum got 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Lillard got 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. On Chicago side, Two players made a double-double. Z. LaVine and T. Young were so close to making one too. C. White got 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. O. Porter got 19 points and 13 rebounds. Z. LaVine got 18 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. T. Young got 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Just when everyone is bashing Curry and saying he can’t lead a team... Wow. He now has a higher career high than LeBron, Giannis, Harden, Kawhi and many others. What a perfect time for him to have a breakout game. Too bad Klay had to get injured. As others have shown though, great of him to immediately congratulate his brother. Great night for NBA basketball.

Man I have to agree with the hate Curry had when he lost both Durant and Klay on their normal rotation. But yeah he needs to step up when all matters now. He's been the face of the franchise since Monta Ellis. Actually, this year will be a good year for Steph, he gets the chance to prove the doubters wrong, and is capable of carrying his team to secure a playoff spot. We'll just hope he stays healthy all throughout the 2021 season. Though the Western Conference are stacked with a great team, but securing a playoff spot would be a great accomplishment for the GSW.
What Curry had to deal with so far was a bit sad, this is the guy who made this team what it is today, there is no denying that without Klay or even maybe Durant, they wouldn't be this good, but without Curry it is not even starting up, it is not going to be even a decent playoff team, you can put Klay and Durant on the same team, and remove Curry from there, and you are looking at a Brooklyn Nets level of team, maybe even worse if you consider Irving better than Klay which I do.

Whereas when you put Curry there, it suddenly becomes a major team. Everyone forgets that Warriors lost from 3-1 on 2016 finals and that was horrible for them, BUT they had 73 wins that season and that was without Durant, it was just Curry and Klay, which is a great duo but Cury was the major part of that. So let's not forget how awesome this guy is, he could do anything he wants.

What a performance displayed by Kyrie Irving just for the first quarter of the game "18 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast, 7/7 FG & 4/4 3P". Looks like the clutch Irving is back, do it Uncle Drew.
Yeah, I witnessed that on live tv.  Grin
Damn, those soft touches were still going in. It's like lady luck is beside him.
But the lead went too far that it became garbage time. Ended up just having 29 points and sits down the rest of the game.
LeVert and Allen made a lot of contributions to win.

No Durant and Dinwiddie and they are still that strong. It's scary.
I think jazz can't match nets yes Mitchell can pour the points but, if those other players will not add 10pts a game they are not going anywhere especially now that west is so loaded still, Rudy needs to add more points, Bojan needs to step up, if they will just let Mitchell do all the scoring then I think it will be an only one-man show.

What a bad night for Jazz and I really think they have an advantage since Durant is out on the game but seems the Nets talents overpowered the Jazz rooster and imagine if Durant is on the court for sure its a over kill for Jazz.

Better luck next time for Jazz since I think they will get a revenge on Knicks.  Grin

Hey hey don't count my knicks out of anything.  They've played their asses off to start the year.  Given how they played the spread should be pretty even.  The way the jazz looked id be weary sticking any money on the jazz after that stinkfest.  Double team spida and I think the knicks should have this one unless one of the other players goes off for a rediculous night.

Edit: Just looked at the spread, jazz -6 lol.  Seriously.  On the road and on the second night in a row.  I will be the homer and lay on the knicks in this one.

As expected Lakers took the win too with this one and manage to get their 3rd straight win. it was a tough battle since Memphis is not backing off either. the last quarter was intense both teams are getting score until the last minute and the Lakers took control though Lakers need to works on their offensive play since they are missing some open shots in this game. maybe just little miss communication from players but overall they've done a good job beating the Memphis to get their 3rd straight win.

The Lakers beat the Grizzlies again, but the win was not easy. There was a noticeable underestimation of the opponent and the Grizzlies also wanted to win, but they do the same, a good game in the first quarter and then decline and loss of all other periods follows. It's always hard to play against the champion, but the Grizzlies are good and deserve to be higher in the standings than they are now.

That's a championship contender and favorite team to watch this season I'll never doubt they can be a top team in the East this regular season maybe by coming months when there's lot of games already played. Brooklyn is just 2nd from Milwaukee in Points/Game with a team averaging 119ppg. Maybe if we see 20+ or 30+ games.
This team can anytime explode and they did it in time, they were the underdog but they were the one who dominated the favorites. Fans should be happy now, they saw how capable the Nets, sometimes it has some bad nights but this is a legitimate team with real chances to become a champion.

I did not watch their game as i'm busy IRL and i'm surprised to learned that KD did not play in this game and somehow the Nets manage to dominate the complete Jazz. Just one testament that the Nets is not a stable team yet and they are unpredictable.

I have bet for them three or four times and all of that lost so i'm staying away from them until they are more stable.

Did you bet on Spurs and Bulls? You must be chillin right now if you did.

I thought Clippers will complete the comeback in the fourth quarter after a great performance in the third but the Spurs did well to keep their composure.
Bulls, on the other hand, fought hard after the first quarter. Very poor of Portland.

That 3rd quarter run seems to be a real comeback but likewise Spurs manage to hold and fought back.

Spurs survive this game with really exciting fight against PG less clippers, imagine if he's there and help the team out to rally back
from the second half, though he's not and it's consider another game to move forward.

The only bet I placed last night was for Lakers to beat Grizzlies and they did it by a few points. I'm not sure anyone had both Spurs and Bulls to win their games in a parlay. If anybody did, then it's a really good one. The odds were high considering both teams were considered underdogs before the game. Spurs really upped their game yesterday. I didn't think they had it in them to beat Clippers.

Spurs are desperate of a win, and they got it successfully, they are lucky they have started with a good lead, games nowadays are really unpredictable.
